Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

Our stay at the property was amazing - the house is even more beautiful in person. It had all the necessary facilities and the host was extremely helpful, answered our questions very quickly and very flexible all throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here and look forward to coming back!

Alloggio “villa mirante” fantastico. Gli spazi interni sono perfettamente progettati con finiture di qualità. Grande attenzione ai dettagli. Ampio giardino e solarium in copertura privato. Massima privacy. Se cercate una casetta dallo stile minimalista, con ampie vetrate, che vi faccia sentire in contatto con la natura esterna, questo è il posto giusto.

Wir haben uns bei Vera und Filipe außerordentlich wohl gefühlt, das fing bereits vor der Anreise mit Restaurant-Tipps für unseren ersten Abend an. Check-in war persönlich, mit kleinen kulinarischen Aufmerksamkeiten. Die Unterkunft ist genauso schön und umfangreich ausgestattet wie beschrieben. Der Kontakt zu Filipe war perfekt. Wann immer wir eine Frage hatten, haben wir in kurzer Zeit Antwort erhalten. Er hat sein bestes gegeben, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber unweit von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Stadt, unserer Meinung nach braucht man jedoch ein Auto. Parken ist wiederum gar kein Problem. Diese Location bei diesen Hosts kann man bedenkenlos buchen, eine klare Empfehlung!

We had a wonderful stay at Jose's. We were two families, four young kids and it was the perfect setup for us. We liked the location, as it wasn't downtown so it was quiet and had a good backyard for the kids, a pool, and a beautiful view! It was also easy to get to other parts of the island from. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook in. After being at the house for 5 days, a crew came and changed the linens and cleaned the house! We mostly communicated with Tomas, who checked us in and Joana. Both were lovely and very helpful! They were also extremely accommodating with check in/check-out! We were able to check in early which was critical for the kids after a redeye and they let us check out later than the normal check-out time. We highly recommend this house for future guest!

Le logement répondait en tout point à ce que nous recherchions. Ce fut un magnifique séjour. Tout y était afin de passer un merveilleux moment, la piscine chauffée, laveuse-sécheuse, lave-vaisselle et tous les items de base, comme à la maison. Marie-Thérèse était vraiment réactive lorsque nous avions des questionnements. Nous avons passé un très beau moment en famille.

One of the best Airbnbs we had so far! Extremely clean and comfortable, with great outdoor space with heated pool and cozy areas to hang out. We appreciated easy and fast communication with the management and helpful recommendations for the local restaurants. Hope to come back again!

The property is gorgeous and the natural ocean pool is incredible!! Perfect place to stay on the island for a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful stay here.

The flat was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Nice balcony with view and not far to the city center. We always found parkingspace around the church. We would like to come back another time!

We stayed here for 10 days with our toddler and everything was perfect. The location is great and makes the entire island very accessible within max one hour drive. Grocery stores and amenities are very close by. There was private parking in the driveway for us and the entire place was so well thought out...nothing was missing. Communication and instructions were simple and clear. The location, home and backyard are perfect - especially for families.

This location is INCREDIBLE. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, watching the huge aqua waves roll past the Mosteiros rocks and appreciated the easy access to the beautiful black beach. Parking is just up the street. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and bathroom worked well. Ricardo was very helpful with a reservation for dinner. We highly recommend the restaurant MoMo in nearby Ginetes. Mosteiros is well located if you plan to visit Sete Cidades and the thermal pools in Ferraria. This is a great spot!

We have been at the parents house for a week and had an amazing time. The view from the balcony is insane and the whole Apartment has beautiful furniture. The communication was also very easy and lovely. Thus I can highly recommend this apartment for everybody who is doing vacation on the Azores.

This is an old, converted fisherman’s cottage (we think). It’s a beautiful place with access to sea swimming pools right out the back garden gate. Easy walking distance to Lagoa along a coastal path leading right to the most amazing set of sea swimming pools (plus proper pools). Local cafe/bar/restaurant right on the doorstep. Kitchen was great, bathrooms clean and showers lovely and warm and powerful. Living space upstairs was fab - cosy in the rain but also perfect with the terrace door open in the evening. We have two young adult girls and one of them wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the communal space next to the kitchen but we easily moved her bed into the small room so she could sleep next to her sister. The only downside was that it was difficult to get things dry when it rained. Everything stayed damp and ended up smelling musty. In the wet, humid conditions the cottage feels a little damp. Generally speaking though, this is a great place. Highly recommend.

This place was in a perfect location for local exploring and for driving all around the island. It was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – ruhig gelegen mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer, was für eine entspannte Atmosphäre sorgt. Die Ausstattung ist top, es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Die moderne Einrichtung trägt zusätzlich zum angenehmen Ambiente bei. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die perfekte Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber – sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Insgesamt ein großartiger Ort, den wir definitiv weiterempfehlen und bei dem wir gerne wiederkommen werden!

This location was perfect as a home base for our trip to Sao Miguel. We had rented a car and any part of the island was less than an hour drive away. This made it very easy for us to get out hiking, eat at one of the various delicious restaurants across the island, explore one of the many beautiful beaches and then return home and still be within walking distance of Praia de Agua d’Alto if we wanted to keep going. If it’s a rainy day, you’re nearby Furnas and could easily enjoy some time in the thermal baths. Highly recommend booking if this great location is available for even a portion of your stay in the Açores!

Dino’s home is one of the top three AirBnBs that we have stayed in, and we have stayed at over 30+ AirBnBs from Peru to Portugal, Europe and the US. Moreover, he is easily the best host we have ever stayed with. He was waiting for us when we arrived and spent 30 minutes showing us where everything was and how to use it. I would strongly recommend his home to anyone looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful location.

Un 10 de 10 ,el alojamiento super bonito , acojedor ,,, Susana y Jorge personas maravillosas , un verdadero placer haberles conocido , super atentos , nos recomendaron muchisimos sitios para visitar ,vcomer , se preocuparon de nosotros de que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto , ,, la verdad esperamos volver por la isla, que es una belleza y obviamente sera nuestra primera opcion donde quedarnos , agradecidos con ellos y con la casita , quedamos enamorados 😍

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung und nah am Meer gelegen. Man kann wunderbar zu Fuß dahin laufen und in der Straße gibt es einen kleinen Laden. Die Lage ist zentral - von hier kann man wunderbar die Insel erkunden. Wir waren nur einen Tag dort, da unser Flug gecancelt wurde und wir eine Übernachtung brauchen. Von dort sind es nur 22 Minuten zum Flughafen. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und stylish eingerichtet.

Beautiful view, enjoyed my coffee on the balcony in the mornings overlooking the ocean. Would not suggest this accommodation if someone in your party has difficulties with stairs. Was perfect for the 4 of us!

A great and unique place to stay! Beautifully maintained. Given the age of the house, the wind can be heard/felt on windy/stormy days. This takes some getting used to. Please know that the house is situated in a beautiful park, with keys to access the park after opening hours. On the lake you can use kayaks, and there are also kids bikes in the shed.

Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit in Marlenes Unterkunft! Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig, hell und gemütlich. Ich habe mich direkt wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besonders schön war der Meerblick direkt aus dem Schlafzimmer und vom kleinen Balkon oben. Alles war sehr sauber, durchdacht und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist super: Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist in fußläufiger Nähe, das Meer ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und die Unterkunft ist ein super Ausgangspunkt, um São Miguel zu erkunden. Marlene ist eine tolle Gastgeberin: herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist, dass man die Straße etwas hört, aber das hat den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck kaum getrübt.

Die Wohnung "Slow Living" ist wirklich wunderschön eingerichtet und ausgestattet, man kann sich sofort wohlfühlen und in Ponta Delgada ganz zentral zu Hause sein. Es fehlt an gar nichts. Es sind auch nur ein paar Schritte zum Stadtzentrum und alles ist bequem zu erreichen, ebenso der Hafen. Mit etwas Geschick war es kein Problem für uns, in der kleinen Strasse vor dem Haus zu parken. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war Aleksandra zuvorkommend und sehr hilfreich, einfach eine seht nette Gastgeberin und alles zusammen eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Gerne werden wir wieder einmal kommen und auch diese Unterkunft an unsere Freunde empfehlen.

It was a bit hard to find the location originally as there are no numbers on the outside. We had a couple of issues at the beginning but Bruno was very responsive and fixed the issues quickly. The place was really nice, good location, great space to share with my children. We made good use of the hot tub and pool. Would recommend this place.
