We LOVED our stay here during our time in Vieques. Extremely clean and comfy! Would definitely stay here again or recommend to fellow travelers to Vieques!
A vibrant sign spelling 'ESPERANZA' stands prominently along the waterfront. The letters are painted in a rainbow of colors, reflecting the lively spirit of the neighborhood. The serene blue sea and clear sky create a picturesque backdrop, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere.

Bananas Vieques Guesthouse Room 5/Vibrant Area

TinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Definitely worth staying. Great location, walkable distance to so many activities, restaurants and even a small convenience store. Room was perfect and just as described. Very open about the possibility of noise so I brought ear plugs just in case but never needed them. We stayed in room 5 and it was just perfect. Host was very responsive and provided precise instructions on the check in and checkout process and the price for the room was very reasonable. Their restaurant also has great food and a variety of well put together cocktails including a rooftop bar overlooking the water.
A vibrant outdoor seating area is displayed, featuring two turquoise chairs positioned around a rustic table. Lush green foliage and a low stone wall create a serene environment, while natural sunlight filters through the surrounding plants.

Cozy little house. Loved it. Had a nice kitchen with everything you need to cook and make meals. Close walk to everything downtown.
The exterior of a casita is presented, featuring a brick archway leading to a white door. An air conditioning unit is visible on the orange-painted wall. A landscaped area with various plants and a stone seating area can be seen in the yard.

Orquídeas

This place was great! Perfect location for a night on Vieques. Within walking distance of all the best restaurants and tour meeting points for the bio bay! The beds were comfortable and the space fit our group of 5 with space for more. She also provided beach chairs and a cooler for longer stays and beach days! I’ve stayed in several places on the island and this is one of the best. 10/10 recommend and would stay there again!

Beach house in Vieques. La Paz

YamileRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great stay! Yilian and Diana were very responsive and the house felt like home. They have the cutest 2 tortoises ever and a cute little backyard decorated very nicely with a clean pool. TV doesn’t have wifi or any streaming services but honestly if you are staying just 1 night like we did it is not bad because they have cable (if you understand Spanish). Beach its literally 2 minutes walking and the neighborhood seems very safe. Lot’s of places to eat right around the corner. Will definitely stay here next time im in Vieques! Highly recommend.

"Puertas at El Quenepo- Pomarosa"

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Such a relaxing retreat in the middle of energetic Esperanza. Katie even provides guests with earplugs for those not crazy about being woken up by roosters or revelers in the wee hours. Usually my husband and I cannot sleep well unless we are in a king size bed (we need our space!), but somehow we were comfortable in the double- miraculous! Our room was luxurious with thoughtful touches, and we loved the breakfast picnic basket outside our door every morning, even though we didn't find ourselves hungry either morning after our dinners out! Would stay again.
A view of the calm Caribbean Sea is framed by tall palm trees, swaying gently in the breeze. A blue railing captures the peaceful coastal scene, with subtle waves lapping at the shore and distant land barely visible on the horizon under a clear sky.

Casa Bromelia Tranquil Haven by the Sea

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
From the very beginning Patricia was the most helpful host we ever experienced. She anticipated our needs, including offering recommendation for a driver who took us from airport to old San Juan, then later to ferry and from ferry to hotel near airport. Patricia gave heads up about early planning for ferry to Vieques and car rentals, and places to eat and beaches to visit. We found Sun Bay beach the easiest to access. The roads to most other beaches were filled with almost impossible to cross potholes. Husb and I are in upper 70s but were able to join our kids for walk to Malecon where there were a variety of good restaurants. The steep hill on walk home was more challenging. Esperanza is still clearly on the mend from prior storms. Patricia’s house stands out as more upscale. Very comfortable for 7 of us. Especially enjoyed outdoor accommodations for eating and games. Was wonderful having a small market within couple city blocks. Could have done without the neighbors roosters!
