Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Portland Parish

I booked this listing for the night before my wedding, so I needed some flexibility and Safielia was very responsive and accommodating. The house was comfortable, clean and fun, with its own swimming pool and pool table for the guys to enjoy. I would book again

What a charming stay! I miss the amazing view and sounds of chickens and goats already. As my primary trip goal was to swim, this location was perfect-a one mile walk to Boston Beach, and affordable local taxis, insured I was able to see and swim all along the Eastern beaches of the island! Hosts were open, friendly and graciously took time to answer all my questions. A conveniently located supermarket allowed me to cook humbly for myself-a great money saver, if that’s important in your travels. This trip felt extremely safe, even as an elder solo traveler. People definitely look out for each other on this end of the island. The internet connection was great too!

We had a great stay in St Thomas thanks to Marcia and her family. This was a wonderful real Jamaican experience staying on a farm, learning about the local history and culture. We highly recommend this stay for those who love ecotourism like we do and Jamaica's inspiring history of struggle for independence. The fresh tropical fruit and mountain views are also incredible.

The place was sooo big, spacious and comfortable, super close to main attractions like beautiful blue lagoon and beaches!!! Mario is awesome so kind and helpful with everything. The place doesn’t have review yet, we were the first, and it was so cool. It is simple, but very convenience for the price because my family and I are in a budget. Chill and relax vibes in Mario’s place. Pictures don’t represent how big is the place!! Thanks Mario for a nice experience!!!

The place is located on a quiet street about a 20 min stroll from the center of town. Everything you need is within walking distance, including local shops selling vegetables and provisions, the Knutsford Express Station, restaurants, and the supermarket. Great Value for the money, would definitely stay here again! Thanks Ivor!

We had a really nice time at Marsha‘s place! Everything looks just like in the pictures and the view is stunning. supermarket and beach are walking distance away. :)

I could go on and on about this place! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! Booked this place for my husband to get ready for our wedding and I can’t wait to see the amazing photos he got. I was jealous when i saw the place in person. Kamar was great in allowing us to have photos taken there with his friends. Very modern and very CLEAN!

Oh my! I do not know where to begin!! Alana and staff made us feel so welcomed. They were responsive and friendly! As soon as we walked in, it was hard not to feel at home. It's extremely quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The river, restaurants, and other attractions in Ocho Riod are all nearby. We didn't want our vacation to be over AT ALL. But overall, WE LOVED our stay. We look forward to staying here again!

Great stay! Host was very nice. Left some snacks for us. The pool was down unfortunately. We didn't know that until we got there. We were going to order dinner, but didn't know that had to be ordered in advance. Thankfully we found some food in town. We also couldn't get the washer to work. The bed was SUPER comfortable, and there were actually enough pillows! Overall very nice!

Staying here was an incredible experience! The location is absolutely breathtaking—nestled in the heart of the rainforest, with easy access to the creek for a refreshing dip and endless opportunities to explore Jamaica’s stunning countryside. The abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables growing all around makes this place feel like a paradise. Rafyah is an amazing host! He pours his heart into creating a true oasis, making it the perfect retreat from everyday life. His knowledge of herbs, fruits, and healthy living is truly inspiring, and he’s always happy to share his wisdom. Plus, he’s an incredible cook—his ital soup was delicious! You can tell he enjoys cooking just as much as he enjoys savoring a good meal. A stay here is more than just a getaway; it’s an experience filled with nature, learning, and great food. Highly recommend!

Magnifique, logement en pleine nature, au calme avec la beauté de la forêt, tropicale. Intéressante. Visite des plantations de café et l’accueil de Mikael a été parfait Juste un petit bémol, l’accès est très difficile avec des routes étroites et en très mauvais état, à flanc de montagne… Et de ravin !mais en roulant doucement et en étant très prudent, on n’y arrive sans trop de difficultés Un lieu de séjour au calme à recommander PS si vous n’avez pas de 4x4 pas de problème, Mikael vient vous chercher à 500 m de la propriété car il y a une rivière à traverser !

Excellent sejour chez Dominic et Kisha! Leur lodge, tout neuf, offre une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. Bien équipé et confortable. Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. Le depart pour la randonnée est au bout de la rue (rando de 7h aller retour pour nous). Merci pour ce moment, et bonne continuation dans votre aventure!

My only issue? I didn’t stay long enough! From booking, Rahfyah’s warm welcome sets the tone. Upon arrival, Yohance’s vibrant hospitality made us feel at home. He guided us through the land, shared insights, and helped us plan an amazing stay. Crossing the long swaying bridge to the cozy cabin felt like entering another world—fruit trees, medicinal plants, rivers, and waterfalls all around. Yohance treated us to fresh fruits, and later, we had a complimentary meal bursting with flavor and nourishment. Hiking to hidden river spots, swimming, and climbing waterfalls was pure magic. The air is crisp, the stars at night are breathtaking, and the best part? Falling asleep to the river’s soothing sounds. Tip: Bring natural mosquito repellent for the afternoons, but at night, nature’s symphony takes over. This place is pure healing—a true escape. I left feeling lighter, freer, and deeply refreshed. I’ll definitely be back!

Curvin and Joan are wonderful hosts and very helpful. The A frame cottage has some of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen from an Airbnb. Just remember to bring the bug spray! Also, WiFi is only available at the main house on another part of the property. If you need Internet in the cottage itself, you should purchase a SIM card locally. Overall, the cottage is beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend it!
