You can experience pure nature at our accommodation in the middle of the rocky world of Saxon Switzerland. The wagon stands in a meadow, behind it are the sheep on the orchard, just behind the forest and the hiking trails to the rocks start. Note: Please bring my own duvet covers , sheets and towels. The tiny house is located on the grounds of our hostel, where other guests (groups) are also present. It is therefore not remote or in a secluded location, you should keep this in mind when booking.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework. Our garden is designed in such a way that living beings that are native there can still feel comfortable, such as salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Anyone who stays in the garden for a long time can observe these many rare inhabitants in our garden.

We cordially invite you to our country house in Rathen. It was built in 1863 by Wilhelm Fröde and is still family-owned today, of which we are very proud. Our ancestors rented rooms to guests in addition to their work in agriculture. Our apartment "Bastei" impresses with a fantastic panoramic view of the Bastei massif.
