Vacation rentals with a kayak in Polk County

My family had a great time and we will try to book it again if we head that way next summer! The home is clean, it matches the description, and is very well laid out. Check-in and getting inside went very smoothly. We didn’t have to reach out to the host at all during the stay — everything was self-evident or had good instructions. The communication before and after the stay was great.

This is a great spot for a quiet getaway. it's a nice private place close enough to restaurants and parks but enough away for peace and quiet. we would stay again!

Really beautiful spot. If anything I don't think the pictures quite do it justice. Great kitchen that we appreciated as a bunch of cooks. We had a few questions and requests while we were there and Sheri was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Everyone that stayed absolutely loved the club house and the location! We were a large group but everything worked out beautifully. Loved sitting on the porch in the evening! We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Just beautiful and cozy. Felt right at home and comfortable in this gorgeous house. Was bigger than expected. Kitchen was fully stocked and easy to make a meal. Beds were really comfortable. My kids loved the bunk and arcade games. Would love to come backs in the summer.

The cabin was just as described and pictured. The location was an easy commute for a weekend stay. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked. We caught fish off the dock and enjoyed the kayaks. It was a great cabin for our family gathering!

One of the Best Stays We've Ever Had! Our family of 6 (plus a baby and dog) had an incredible stay at this cabin. The open floor plan, warm and clean atmosphere, and stunning deck overlooking the lake made it feel like a true getaway. The fenced-in dog area, flat yard, and plenty of parking makes it perfect for families. The hosts thought of everything — from extra makeup wipes to firewood and s’mores kits. Even though we didn’t use it all, the attention to detail was amazing. Close to boat and pontoon rentals, with outdoor seating for meals, this place truly has it all. We can’t wait to come back — absolutely over-the-top in the best way!

We absolutely loved our short break at The Havens. The house layout functions brilliantly with lots of communal areas and spaces to relax. It feels newly finished, clean, contemporary and comfortable. We loved discussing evenings in getting of the fire in the porch, using the sauna and taking the kayaks out on the river. Lots to do in the area. we hope to visit again.

Enjoyed the welcoming by hosts, coziness, peaceful and private location near Half Moon lake. Beautiful sunsets, night sky, and nearby hiking trails we explored. Provides necessary amenities for a very enjoyable stay! Look forward to booking again.

If you ever want a true lake house experience with all of the fun but none of the dreaded lake house chores this is the place for you. It’s cosy and comes with all the amenities. The owner is a genuinely nice person. You are within driving distance of several “oh fer cute” Minnesota towns and the lake is right outside your door!

It was the perfect home to enjoy time on a quiet lake with family. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for throwing an impromptu celebration dinner. Was very impressed with the communication and the set up overall

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful property on the lake. It has that old cabin type feel but has all the necessities to be comfortable. The pontoon was great and we had a blast fishing off the dock. Would definitely come back!

Oh my, what a wonderful stay! We stayed here with family for our daughter's wedding weekend. We had such a lovely time here. I was a little concerned about the price as it is more than we usually spend, but, goodness, the house was huge. The game room alone was 1,400 square feet! There are wonderful outdoor spaces and amenities and the views are marvelous. The house is perfectly set up for a large family gathering with lots of space for folks to get together while still allowing some privacy if needed. The house's amenities were just stellar, better than any Airbnb we've been in. Lot's of games, children's toys and books, and a fabulous "cinema" room. We had an outstanding stay and highly recommend this Airbnb. I think we'll try to rent it again this fall for a family reunion.

This is a beautiful cabin. It is very clean and well stocked. Lisa was very helpful and responsive to our request. The views were amazing! We enjoyed taking the boat out to watch the sunset. We are looking forward to another stay.

We had a great stay at Michael's place - the downstairs was a huge plus since my daughter and grandson had their own space at night. The cabin is right on the lake and we enjoyed having the view of the lake right out the window. I appreciated the fact that the dock is very stable since one in our party has a walking disability. We had fun fishing off the dock, mostly bluegills and sunnies but there are big fish in the lake and they were nibbling too. The place was clean and the furniture was comfortable which for me is important because I like to kick back and relax when I'm on vacation. Great patio area with grill and the town was super accessible with just a short drive away though it was peaceful at the cabin. I would definitely like to stay again sometime!

Absolutely wonderful stay! We had families gathering here with young kids and we had everything we needed. The home was perfect. The lake was lovely. The beds were cozy and the communication with owners was great! Will for sure be back in the future!!! Thanks for the memories.

It’s a roomy lake cabin with lots of spots spread out or get together! It’s has a beautiful view of the lake and very comfortable beds and furnishings! We enjoyed our time together with our granddaughter. There are plenty of places around the area to explore 😀
