Great place! The location was fabulous. The space was nicely decorated and beautifully maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob's place! It was just as advertised, clean and welcoming. The balcony over the river is where we put in the most hours, just watching the changes in the river, the various boats, and people-watching on the river walk. Everything we did was within minutes of the condo...great restaurants and shopping. Bob provided plenty of info and recommendations for eating and sightseeing. We were there on Memorial Day and could easily see the USS North Carolina lit up in red, white and blue. Even though it was cloudy/rainy most of the time, the awning on the balcony kept us dry and comfortable. A couple of time we had questions for Bob and he was immediately responsive and helpful. It was just the relaxing getaway we were hoping for! We would recommend this spot anytime for 2 guests!

Great place to stay! Jarrod and his wife were very friendly and responsive with any questions on the app. They even let us check in early. Accommodating bikes was so thoughtful and fun for us as we biked to coffee places and lunch. We kayaked to palm tree island and that was so much fun! It’s also a great location to walk to the beach as well! The balcony was so peaceful in the morning and at night. 10/10 experience and first time vacationing to Wilmington. Will 100% come back!

Donna's place was immaculate. It was decorated beautifully with everything you need but not cluttered. The location was amazing, a very short walk to the beach. Location has a small pool that was so refreshing after spending all day on the beach. The only issue we had was with the lock, but Donna was so responsive and made sure we had a solution immediately. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a place with a small family.

My husband and I enjoyed spending the weekend here for a wedding! The apartment is beautifully situated over the water with an amazing view. Right near the apartment is a local place to get drinks. The apartment is walking distance to everything, but also far enough where we didn’t hear a lot of noise. Aubrey was very responsive and gave explicit directions. It was helpful to have the parking garage which wasn’t far away at all! We also appreciated the “manual” with recommendations for local favorites including shopping and restaurants! The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time at Mary Margaret's place! Being steps from the beach was incredibly convenient, making it so easy to enjoy the sun and sand whenever we wanted. We also really appreciated having a cool bar with great drink specials and live music just around the corner. The apartment itself has such a lovely bohemian beach feel, it's really well designed and so comfortable. We're definitely hoping to come back soon!

it was the most relaxing vacation I ever had.

We had such an amazing time at River Retreat! Felt very safe and comfortable right at home truly. It unfortunately was raining so bad one of the days but that didn’t stop us we still had a great time, make sure you enjoy that sunset on the balcony or catch the sunrise, it’s worth it! :)

The 5 of us old high school pals had a stupendous time. Tons of laughter on the deck overlooking the water. Great views! The cottage had everything we needed!

The beachfront location was amazing. We really enjoyed spending most of our time on the beach and the deck. The house is small, but if you intend to spend most of your time outside, it's perfect. The house shows it's age in a few areas, but this didn't affect our stay. The A/C kept it nice and cool during some hot humid days. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, watching a storm roll in, hanging out in the evenings, and most importantly private beach access! Most of the surf city shops and restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away. Overall, this was a great spot for a relaxing stay at the beach. We would book it again.

My family and I had a great three night stay. We’ve always wanted to stay right on the ocean and it was so worth it. The house is spacious but still cozy. We travelled with our 8 month old and used the high chair and baby gate. We loved watching the sun come up over the ocean each morning. Emily was communicative and friendly. Would definitely return!

stayed June 7th-14th 2025 and we had a great vacation. house was on the beach and walkable to the resturants and boardwalk. would recommend and stay again.

We loved our family vacation here! The home was perfect and had everything we needed. The location was amazing. Kate was very helpful any time that we had questions. We will definitely be coming back!

The condo was wonderful. The whole place felt fresh and clean. Mary Anne was a great host, and had everything covered! We so appreciated all of her thoughtfulness! And the view of the ocean and the private beach access was perfect! We really enjoyed our time there.

We loved our stay in Carolina Beach! This house is a GEM - so clean, literally steps from the beach, and slept 9 adults very comfortably! This was one of the best stocked Airbnb kitchens I’ve ever stayed in. Lindsey thought of everything. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Would highly recommend booking!

Loved the location. I wasn't sure about everyone in our group liking being so close to the "hubbub", but that ended up being what something we really liked about the place. Lots of things to do that are walkable. Shops, restaurants, bars, coffee houses, a beautiful walkway along the intracoastal waterway, a kids playground... And the view can't be beat! Well stocked kitchen- like truly everything you could possibly need. Lots of seating on the deck. All the things! Mom was over the moon about her 90th birthday celebration.

This rental was exceptional ! We had a wonderful time and felt right at home. The cooking pans, cups, plates, utensils, oil, coffee made it very easy to be there!. It was clear this family just wanted us to share in the beauty of their convenient location to several beaches and fun, while being able to get away and enjoy the peaceful place. The linens were very clean! We had someone staying above us and never even heard their feet. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay at David’s condo in Carolina Beach. If we had any questions, they were addressed immediately and we were comforted by his attention to our needs. The serene view of the ocean will make your cares melt away and this was the perfect escape for our family to connect, relax, rest, and recharge. The beach access is a few steps out the door and down a short path. A bonus of this location is walkability (be mindful that there are no sidewalks, but cars and golf carts on the road are very accommodating and there are crossing lines.) Some of our favorites places to go - The Spot, the Ice Cream Shop and Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar. The boardwalk is a short drive - 2-4 minutes. And Hurricane Alley’s was fantastic food, view, vibe. Thank you for making our first visit to Carolina Beach so special and memorable. We hope there will be many more!!

Mike was a great host and very communicative with check in and out instructions. The condo was perfect - perfect location, clean, and Mike has thought of all the extras (ceiling fans, hair dryers, sound machines, beach towels, beach chairs). We will definitely stay again when in Carolina Beach!

It was our 40th anniversary and we decided that we wanted to go to our favorite beach in North Carolina. We could see the ocean from this apartment and a very short walk to the beach. Enjoyed sleeping on the beds and having 2 bathrooms were fantastic. AC was great and water pressure in shower, was too. They had everything you needed and didnt lack on the supplies. Clean, comfortable and well located right on the ocean. Short walk to the public beach access. Enjoyed casual dinner and live music at the Sea Witch a few miles away.

It is clear a lot of love and attention goes into maintaining this property. Everything was updated, clean, and organized. Things were clearly labeled to help us during our stay (light switches, cabinets, drawers, etc.). The location was perfect. It was quick and easy to get to the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk for restaurants, drinks, and shopping. The view was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!
