Beachfront vacation rentals in Pickering

I was very comfortable and felt at home. The property was right off the lake and it was a beautiful peaceful location.

This beachfront cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The lake views and sunsets were amazing, weather was perfect. The cottage was spacious with plenty of sleeping area for our 5 adults. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and having evening fires. Plenty of wineries nearby also. Although we weren’t bothered by it, I would mention to others that there is no privacy in the yard. There is a walkway that runs alongside the yard that is very busy with locals walking back and forth to the beach/pjer. Although it did not bother us, some might be looking for a more private getaway. My family and I would definitely stay at the beachfront cottage again!

Nice and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful neighborhood. The host was nice and responsive, she even went the extra mile to help me when needed. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the GO Train, depending on how fast you walk. But the host was considerate enough to lend me a bike, so for me it's 5 minutes to the station, haha. Overall, it's a nice place to stay if you like to bike like me (it's also close to a bike trail), or if you drive and want to stay in a quiet and beautiful area (away from the noise of the city center).

The house was exactly what we wanted. It was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need and more. It was clean and neat. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We had more than enough firewood to use during our stay. The yard was perfect for our 10 month old to play in. The street was semi private which we liked. We have been going to olcott for years and this is by far the best place we have stayed at. It was just a short walk to watch the sunset. Definitely pleased with our stay and looking forward to booking with him again.

Amanda is a great host. She contacted me before confirming my reservation to make sure I knew of all the amenities available and was great all week long! Amanda's place is the best location in the Beaches - right in the center of the action. That was one of the reasons I chose it. Busses and streetcars can take you anywhere. Restaurants, boutiques etc are right there. And so is the entrance to Kew Gardens and the Boardwalk along the lake. And while the the hustle and bustle is right nearby, Amanda's place is a very quiet retreat just steps away from Queen Street. While this is a smaller place compared to some, it certainly had everything I needed. As a single traveller it was more than enough for me. And the bed was the best - slept like a log all week! And whenever I needed Amanda's help she was always there. I would certainly recommend Amanda's place for anyone who wants to be right in the heart of the Beaches and wants a quiet little bit of heaven to rest their head. Five Stars!

Great place to stay. Everything matched the description. You get the whole floor to yourself. Overall clean and comfortable. Bathroom is a bit small but still manageable. Will definitely stay again here in the future.

Irina’s cottage is lovely! Very spacious and comfortable, elegantly furnished, and cool even in hot weather,. The rooms have large picture windows with spectacular views of Chalk Lake. Irina was a very gracious and helpful host. The lake itself is very quiet and serene, perfect for swimming and kayaking.

The house is perfect for a family or friend getaway. 100%. We enjoyed the large kitchen, which gave a constant view of the water. There was plenty to do at the house: a hot tub, kayaks, and standup paddle boards, sitting by the water in the large beach chairs, and most importantly, swimming. The water was great for SUPs and kayaking. We also used the nearby dock and brought a boat to take out on the water. We recommend you bring water shoes because the beach has many stones. If not, no worries; the stones are rounded, so you can walk on them. The water was lovely (a bit cold on our first dip but highly refreshing afterwards, especially when the sun was out), and you could see through to the bottom. A sand bed near the shore keeps the water temperature comfortable, making it easy to play around and try the paddle boards. Overall, the location was private, and the house was spacious and fully equipped, which made for a relaxing trip for the whole family.

He was super responsive! Even purchased an air mattress for my stay due to having an extra band member come the second night we stayed!!!! 10/10 recommend!

Great place to stay for a longer time like we needed. Frank was always very responsive. A good location as well, its not a long drive to shops and restaurants but the house itself is in a fairly quiet area. Would definitely stay here again if a need arises.

Place was incredible. I think the couch could’ve been softer because my friend didn’t sleep well on it but other than that, the views were absolutely breathtaking. It’s kept very clean. Rory is super accommodating and a standup guy. Would definitely love to comeback someday!

Excellent central location close to everything. The apartment is comfortable and all the equipment works well. However, it’s a bit plainer than the photos suggest. The bathroom could use some attention — the silicone around the tub is musty with visible black mold and should be replaced. We enjoyed the gym and pool facilities, which are well maintained. No issues at check-in. Because of the maintenance that needs to be done, I’m giving a 4 out of 5, but once that’s addressed, it would easily be a 5/5. Also, I’d suggest replacing the living room sofa, which isn’t very comfortable.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The view is beautiful and there are a lot of water toys available for use if that is something that interests you. The outdoor space is gorgeous as well with lots of string lights at night. Caihong is a very responsive host! I was never left waiting for an answer to any of my questions. We also enjoyed all the games available indoors, especially the mahjong table!! The only thing we didn't enjoy about our stay was the water quality. The tap water has a smell and color, so we chose not to give our babies a bath while we were here and we used bottled water for anything food related. This cottage is very close to a lot of stores though so buying water was not hard or inconvenient.

Wonderful location overlooking the lake in a very nice neighbourhood. The house was spotlessly clean & Shaheen & Sultan responded to any questions we had very quickly. Even in October we were able to use the deck which is a lovely spot to sit & enjoy the lovely view over the lake.

Great place for our large family. We really enjoyed the location close to the water, parks and town. Also the porch and patio overlooking the lake made for enjoyable evening dinners. Kitchen was well outfitted for cooking.
