My little lake house

We came to Lake Vassivière for the swimrun weekend. The house is in a very good location in a quiet subdivision and a 5-minute walk from the lake and restaurants. With the good weather of the weekend we were able to enjoy the garden for eating out. We were able to leave in the early afternoon to be able to come and take a shower after our race, thank you.

An outdoor patio area features a circular table accompanied by four white chairs, set against a backdrop of natural stone. The space is surrounded by greenery, providing a serene atmosphere for enjoying meals outdoors.

we had a wonderfull time. Karen and Craig are great hosts! This place is a 'must' to visit if you like France, nature and a great relaxing time. The cottage has everyting you need and for us the jacuzzi was absolutly fantastic. sitting in the tub with a great view!! WE LOVED IT!!!!

Véronique and her husband are gems, very friendly and welcoming. The setting is superb, close to the lake. The accommodation is perfect for 2 people with all the necessary equipment and very clean. A big thank you for the welcome.

It is a small house of character in a haven of peace and greenery . The accommodation is very nice and well equipped. If you want an aquagym class, a karaoke, that's for sure, you're not in the right place. But if you want to enjoy the calm, nature while staying close to Lake Vassiviere, beautiful viщlages, you can go there without hesitation. Entry is through a key box, the instructions are clear and Ludivine and Arnaud are very responsive . We would highly recommend it.

An expansive grassy yard is featured, surrounded by trees and a wooden fence. A small shed is visible in the corner, and the area is bathed in natural light. The lawn provides an open space suitable for recreational activities.

Well-located house, close to a small supermarket, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We highly recommend renting this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, too short unfortunately, in Peyrat-le-Château, in Ruth's home. She answered all my questions as we went along and her directions, as well as the information available on site, were very clear. Even though we didn't meet her, we felt welcomed by her, in her house full of charm and personality. Each of the three levels is a small world in itself, both comfortable (beds and bedding, modern shower, sofas and armchairs, large central island for cooking and eating in the same room even if there is also a large table in the living room on the first floor), and warm thanks to the decoration. We are in the heart of the small town of Peyrat, very close to the main square with its cinema, local brewery and a few local shops. The surrounding nature is beautiful: meadows, forests, streams and lakes invite you to explore and hike. We'll be happy to go back!
