Also 45 mins drive from famous Otavalo (local handcrafts), San Antonio de Ibarra (wood art), Cotacachi (leather goods) NOTE: The place is right next to the main house where the host lives. If you aren't fan of dogs, just let the host know.

Nuestra casa del lago, de diseño industrial con materiales cálidos, mucha madera y ladrillo, les dará el descanso perfecto y será una base ideal para conocer la zona de Otavalo. Estamos a 20 minutos del Mercado de los Ponchos, 50 minutos de las Lagunas de Mojanda, 20 min. de Cayambe, 40 min. de Cotacachi, etc Tenemos dos chimeneas, un calentador exterior eléctrico y en la terraza hay un fire pit, que les acompañarán a disfrutar los atardeceres mas bellos de la sierra.

We had a very nice stay at this Airbnb. The host provided everything we needed in terms of stocking the kitchen and pantry. The jacuzzi was very easy to use (don't turn the tap all the way on if you want hotter water). The check in and check out process was super easy. Unfortunately we did not get any views of Cayambe, but the river flowing in the back of the property was very pretty and relaxing.

A rustic fireplace is showcased, with flames dancing above a bed of logs. The brick surround adds warmth, while traditional utensils and decor are visible above the mantel, contributing to a cozy atmosphere suitable for gatherings.

Quedarse en esta casa es una experiencia única, es como retroceder en el tiempo ya que tiene una decoración muy tradicional acorde con Zuleta y con artefactos antiguos, muy llamativos. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, la sala con chimenea es muy acogedora y la cocina tiene todo lo necesario. Además la vista a las montañas, y el ambiente campestre te hace sentir un respiro del ruido de la ciudad. Muy recomendable!

Tuvimos el privilegio de hospedarnos en este maravilloso lugar durante un viaje familiar, en el que también nos acompañaron nuestras mascotas. Desde el primer momento, nos sentimos completamente a gusto gracias al entorno privado y seguro, con cerramiento que brinda tranquilidad y comodidad para quienes viajamos en familia. Cabe destacar que la descripción del lugar por parte del anfitrión resulta bastante modesta, ya que, al llegar, el hospedaje supera por mucho las expectativas: cuenta con un jacuzzi y sauna que hicieron de nuestra estadía una experiencia realmente relajante. El entorno es tranquilo y apartado del bullicio, pero al mismo tiempo está lo suficientemente cerca del centro de Ibarra como para moverse con facilidad. La casa está completamente equipada, con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda, y el ambiente es realmente acogedor. El anfitrión se esmera en cada detalle para que uno se sienta bienvenido, y eso se nota en cada rincón del lugar. Mil veces recomendado.

Excelente estadía, precioso lugar y la atención de Wilmer, quien trabaja ahí, estupenda. Quiero regresar y quedarme más tiempo. La casa hermosa y con todas las comodidades y tiene todo lo que uno necesita. El horno de pan nos esperaba prendido e hicimos pizzas. La vista al Cayambe espectacular. 100% recomendable
