Enter through a large glass sliding patio door into a spacious bright and airy open plan living area with large, comfortable suite, TV entertainment system with Blu Ray DVD and SKY system. You will find a galley style fitted kitchen area with all modern appliances including a washing machine, dishwasher, fan assisted oven with ceramic hob, all crockery, pots and pans, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. The dining area is with table and 4 chairs. The bedroom and separate bathroom lead off the living area and comprises of a sprung bed with continental size memory foam mattresses supplied with soft Egyptian Cotton bed linen. A holiday would not be a holiday without a comfortable night's sleep and we pride ourselves on the comfort of our beds and linen. The bedroom has a fitted wardrobe with drawers, fitted carpets, high quality curtains, a hair dryer, bedside tables with lighting. The bathroom with shower over bath is supplied by a pressurised hot water system. High grade towels and Arran Aromatic soap are provided. The Portnellan Estate has been privately owned by the same family for over 40 years and offers fantastic facilities to include fresh run salmon and trout fishing on the estate lochs and river, plenty of cycling on and off road for all abilities. There are kayaks, paddle boards and rowing boats on the river and lochs and a games room offering a pool table, table tennis and table football as well as a wee gym. Clay pigeon shooting can also be arranged. Wifi is available throughout the estate as well as BBQ hire. A wee visitors centre offers you th use of a DVD library, a selection of board games as well as local produce for sale to include honey, a range of hand made candles, eggs from our ducks on the estate and organic meat products fresh from a farm locally, perfect for the BBQ or home cooking. Log Cabin in Strathyre available on a weekly basis. 4 Berth A-Frame Swiss Style Log Cabin in the National Park (1 double and second bedroom with 2 singles). Wood Burning Stove. Full fire and CO alarms. Charming Village with Post Office, shop and Pub all within 3 minutes walk. Wonderful forest walks and fishing river literally 10 yards from the Cabin. One dog welcome, smokers not. Fast Fibre WiFi but poor mobile connections within the cabin however OK in the village.

'The hoot' lodge 29, is a spacious log cabin on the rugged eastern banks of Loch Lomond. Well positioned in the Rowardennan private lodge estate, there are beautiful views from the lodge across Loch Lomond and of the surrounding mountains. Rowardennan is at the mid point of Loch Lomond and is nestled at the foot of Ben Lomond. Twenty four miles long, Loch Lomond and it's islands are one of Scotland's must see attractions; stunningly beautiful all year round.
