House vacation rentals in Panormos in Rethymno

Such a lovely stay!!!! Mareike and Georgios was extremely helpful they organised a taxi for me and picked up in the little village since my husband was coming later with our car. The place was very peaceful and private. I thought there would be a restaurant but honestly it’s a good thing on the location there isn’t one because it made it very peaceful that a restaurant was not next door. Georgios even organised a BBQ for us which was a highlight that we could just BBQ at home. They were extremely helpful and provided us with loads of local recommendations. I would come back any day!!!!!

The villa is good, but not very clean and not maintained very well (door handle broke, the shower hole was clogged). The pool is great and shared with the other condo's and villa. There wasnt a problem with the host, but he doesnt go the further step to communicate with you. The communication is very basic. The location is ok, about 20 minutes walk from the main port, 3 minutes walk from the nearest beach, but the beach is not very nice. The only main problem is that the double beds are small, and not very comfortable for 2 adults. Over-all for the price, this place is good.

We stayed at Villa Green Paradies as a group and it was a perfect stay. The villa offers exactly what is promised. It is very private and quiet, a wonderful place to relax, but you can also experience a lot from there. Especially the neighboring village of Margarites is highly recommended, a 10-minute walk and there are beautiful pottery stuff and a very great little cafe, as well as tavernas. Communication with Elias was also flawless and very fast! Every now and then, a few small cat guests come by, who are very happy about something to eat and clean water. Some are very shy, but all very kind and sweet. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back ! Thank you Elias! :)

We had a wonderful stay at the villa, starting with a warm welcome on our first night. Antonis’ mother kindly prepared a thoughtful dinner for us, which was especially appreciated since we arrived late and didn’t have time to go out for food. He was also incredibly attentive and made it clear we could reach out to him anytime with questions or needs. Throughout our stay, he provided us with great recommendations on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. The villa also featured a lovely outdoor pizza oven, and they generously provided us with pizza dough, firewood, and everything we needed to enjoy it. They even made sure we had everything we needed for a barbecue. Overall, it was a fantastic experience thanks to their hospitality and thoughtful touches.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in this beautiful villa. The sea view from the pool is amazing and the house is surrounded by olive trees. The host was very responsive and helped us with local recommendations. Highly recommended!

Wonderful villa for a family vacation, with an exceptional host! The villa is in a very quiet location and has everything you need to enjoy your time by the pool. The host truly made a difference in making us feel welcome—organizing a quick pool cleaning after a sandstorm one night and treating us to some delicious local snacks and other thoughtful goodies. We’d love to come back someday!

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

This place is fantastic. Two outdoor seating areas both with breathtaking views facing west so you can watch the sunset. We were there in December during Christmas and they had a nice wood burning stove to help warm the house in addition to an electric heater. There is nothing like the ambiance of a wood burning stove . They provided all of the firewood. They also had a fully stocked kitchen . It was an easy walk to town with all the restaurants. Almost all of which were closed when we went. The beaches are a walkable distance. One of the highlights was the Aradena gorge, a 30 minute drive. The trailhead is in a beautiful ancient town. The hike is technically challenging due to loose rocks. Honestly, one of my favorite things was the area. Off season, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. I loved seeing all the goats and sheep on the hillsides. One thing to note is the bedroom is on the third floor and the bathroom is on the first floor. This was not an issue for us.

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

We loved our stay at Mano's place! It is truly one of our favorite airbnbs of all time. The apartment is just as it's depicted in the photos - perhaps even more spectacular in person. The rooftop is amazing; it was wonderful to sit out there in the mornings and evenings to see the view of the city. There is noise in the evening as mentioned but we were fine with the white noise machine (on our phone). Manos met us (!!) at the nearby parking lot and we managed to find free parking every day. It was so much fun being in the heart of Rethymno. We enjoyed the shops, restaurants, and visiting the many historic sites (museum, fort, churches...). We had a lovely stay and if we're lucky enough to visit Crete again, we'd stay in Mano's place again in a heartbeat!

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

Great communication from Evangelos. Very helpful. The place was lovely with everything we needed and the beach at the end of the garden great for snorkelling. The family were very friendly, helpful and generous We were given delicious fresh eggs and potatoes. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

For the second time, we enjoyed this beautiful house. It was a feeling of coming home. Even when we were in need of health care, we were well cared for and received great help. We highly recommend this house, it is really great and we slept so well, as we haven't. We will definitely be happy to come back...

We had an amazing stay at Dimi’s place. Right from the booking confirmation Dimi’s communication with us was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. He gave us recommendations for where to eat and places to visit. We love the village of Bali, lots to do and great places to eat. The views from the balcony which surrounds the apartment are just stunning and we spent most of our time out there! The 4 nearby beaches are gorgeous-safe with lots of water activities and crystal clear water- amazing! Great for snorkelling. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to return. The apartment had everything we needed for our month long stay here.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the villa. The kids had the best time swimming, playing football and tennis, bouncing on the trampoline etc. it was great having so much for them to do at the house so we didn’t have to worry about taking them out when they needed to burn off some energy. This meant the adults could really relax and enjoy their time too. The house is well located, 10-15 minute drive to most places you want to be, supermarket less than 10mins away. Markos was really helpful, met us at the villa when we arrived and gave us loads of recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The place was perfect, we would love to come back!

A short walk from downtown Kalyves, but far removed from the hustle and bustle of the town of Kalyves. Several good places to eat, with some services such as medical and a pharmacy, a couple small markets with enough provisions. The location had absolutely amazing views of the bay of Souda, very private and quiet. The property is secured by an electric gate, to keep wandering tourists away, in that this accommodation appears historical in nature, maybe all that’s left of an old kastelli, based on the rock walls. I could be wrong, but I would guess that the actual accommodation is what used to be the powder magazine for the old fort. We enjoyed the place immensely.

We had a great week at this house at the sea. Our boys loved it. We will come back.

We had a wonderful two weeks at this rental. Sthatis and Alexandra were fantastic hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The house is exactly like the photos (minus the hanging chairs- but they were not missed). It is ade up of two separate apartments each with 2 bedrooms. It is well equipped and gets the most beautiful sunsets, perfect for an evening barbeque . If you wish to explore the island you will definitely need a car but it is wonderfully located between many of the islands attractions and accessible from both airports. The lovely maid (whose name I cannot remember- sorry!) attended twice. We had some unusual weather while we were there, including a sandstorm which coated the entire area in dust, but Stathis and Alexandra had organised the following day to have the outdoor areas cleaned and the pool water serviced so that we could use the facilities, which we were very impressed by. Overall it was a fantastic choice and we would recommend it to anybody considering staying

We loved our stay! We had a lot of bags and you cant drive your car thru old town so was a pain to get everything in but once we did it was great.

Michael was an excellent host , and we enjoyed our staying, a very private and peaceful zone , we would return definitely!

We had a great time staying at the place. The apartment was very well equipped, in the kitchen there was everything you need for cooking, there were even children's toys and equipment for the beach. Everything was totally clean and the contact with Efi was very friendly. We very much enjoyed using the garden and also the barbecue there. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend there.
