Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pangrati, Athens

Kleio's hospitality and graciousness as a host was truly the highlight of staying at her property. She clearly went above and beyond our expectations to make us feel welcome and taken care of, especially after a long overseas flight or after a long day of hiking around Athens or nearby cities. She had ample supplies a weary traveler might need or forgotten on hand. We are super grateful for the attention to detail Kleio put into thinking about her guests. The location was ideal for launching off on daily adventures and delightful to come back to after exploring all day and into the night. Simply a perfect location and property beautifully appointed and maintained. Hands down one of the best AirBnB stays I have had. Don't hesitate in selecting this place. Book ASAP.....

Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

Magda’s place was spotless, lovely location very local and lots of nice bars and shops. Around a 20 minute walk to most of the popular sites. We managed to lock ourselves out and magda and her sister were very responsive and within the hour were there to get us back in! Very kind and helpful with suggestions, lots of hills in the area so beware! Really lovely home otherwise we loved it here

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

Thank you Ioannis, this was my first visit to Athens and I had everything I could wish for. A small flat which was a great place to be alone in, and a base for excursions. And it was cool in style and temperature!

Roni is an amazing host. He contacted me before I arrived and gave clear instructions on how to self check in, and he didn't go to sleep before I entered. He took care of everything, was involved, and asked if anything was needed. The apartment is very clean, vast, and has everything you need. Loved it, and I will surely come back in the future! A fantastic place to stay in Athens! The location is excellent—within walking distance of major attractions and very close to a metro station, making airport transport easy and convenient. The apartment itself is spacious, featuring a comfortable living room and a great dining area. Maria and Makis were always responsive and eager to help with anything we needed.

Sehr schöne, moderne und vor allem saubere Wohnung. Alles wie angegeben und auf den Bildern. Die Internet Verbindung ist super- habe von dort aus gearbeitet. Steven ist jederzeit erreichbar. Kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

I had a great stay at this apartment. Everything was as shown in the pictures and very clean. Antonis always responded to my messages within a few minutes and was very helpful. I was solo travelling and felt very safe in the neighbourhood. Also, there were many cafés and restaurants nearby.

Absolutely brilliant apartment! Communication was spot on, with clear instructions for collecting the key from a lovely nearby café. After 4 floors by lift and 1 on foot, you arrive at a perfect little spot with everything you need: shower gel, seasoning, plates, coffee machine with pods, sugar, fridge/freezer, and more. Modern decor, great lighting, two air-con units, a brilliant shower, and fresh linen and towels made it feel spotless and comfortable. The bed was cozy—easy to sleep after exploring amazing Athens! The rooftop terrace is the absolute highlight: walk out from the bedroom to phenomenal views of the Acropolis, especially at sunset. It's beautifully done with sun loungers, plants, and a coffee table. The location is perfect—thriving nightlife, bakeries, cafés, bars, and restaurants all nearby. Just a 25-minute walk to the city center. Highly recommend ‘Vyrinis’ for authentic food and ambiance. We’d 100% return—couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a fabulous time! Our hosts were super helpful and very responsive. The apartment was lovely and looks exactly like the photos. We loved the outdoor space, especially the incredible views of the Acropolis. We loved the neighborhood and its vibe. There were lots of very reasonable and delicious places to get a quick bite (the staff at the bakery across the street knew our breakfast order after the first couple of days). All the touristy sites are a reasonable walk, but at the end of the day it was so nice to get away from the crowds and to be somewhere authentically Athenian. Thank you! This was a wonderful place to stay and we will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Paula and Billy’s apartment. The view from the balcony is stunning. The area is away from the main tourist hotspots and has a relaxed but lively feel. We particularly enjoyed the bars and restaurants around Varnava Square, about ten minutes walk away. Namechecking; Chelsea Hotel and Abstract bars, Baba Ghanoush restaurant and Shake and Bake coffee shop. Away from the immediate area Veganaki restaurant is good for (guess what?) vegan food. Paula and Billy are excellent hosts (by remote contact) and could not have been more helpful, friendly and communicative. No downsides, just bear in mind that that the apartment is as the hosts say, tiny and the immediate area is quite hilly with a lot of steps linking different streets.(this is true of most areas of Athens.

Très bon séjour, appartement agréable et spacieux, très propre et frais ! Le quartier est calme et bien situé. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement pour un court séjour à Athènes !

Constantine's property was perfect for our stay. We were greeted and shown around the property and got a brief overview of how things worked in the house, which was awesome! The property is within walking distance to the metro and bus station which can take you to the Acropolis. We also walked to the National Gallery Museum which was close by. The best thing about this property, is how well appointed it was. It had everything we needed and even anticipated things that we might need during our stay. We were able to check-in early and could've left our bags at a secure place upon check out, which showed great service by the host. We will definitely be back should we make our way to Athens again.

Η Κατερίνα ήταν εξαιρετική οικοδέσποινα. Όλες οι οδηγίες που μας έδωσε ήταν ξεκάθαρες και για οποιαδήποτε απορία μας δημιουργήθηκε ήταν άμεσα στη διάθεσή μας. Το διαμέρισμα παρόλο που βρίσκεται πάνω σε κεντρική λεωφόρο έχει πάρα πολύ καλή ηχομόνωση καθώς και κλιματισμό πράγμα που μας επέτρεψε να ξεκουραζόμαστε χωρίς ενοχλήσεις ότι ώρα θέλουμε. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Κατερίνα Ευχαροστουμε για όλα!
