Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ouray

This cabin is on a beautiful peace of property. As the listing states, it is on a working farm, therefore lots of farm animals. My grandbaby loved meeting the animals, and Barb was kind enough to introduce us to the goats which he loved. The cabin kitchen is fully stocked so we could make our meals before heading out for the day. Highly recommend for families! We enjoyed beautiful views and walking around the property in the evenings.

Beautiful home and location! Fully stocked residence. We brought a lot of items from home that were not needed. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and we truly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have spent a couple more days just to enjoy the view!

Incredible house in and incredible location with an incredible host. The house was immaculate and very clean, we felt right at home. Sarah made the whole experience for all guests very memorable, comfortable, and heartwarming. We couldn’t say enough about the house, the stay, or the host. Highly recommend for your stay in Durango!

Peaceful and comfortable, it was a perfect stay for a relaxing weekend exploring the West Elks area.

Felt right at home. Had everything from the Mountain View’s, bright night sky, peace and quiet, what else could you ask for? I really needed this escape from the city and Texas in general. Rejuvenated my mental state for sure. Really want to move to Colorado and after this trip, I will consider more options to make it happen.

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Kristen’s condo! I personally think it’s even nicer in person than what they’re able to depict in the pictures. The area was gorgeous, peaceful, and comfy. The club property that it’s in also has so much to it; we took advantage of the gym, got some gelato from one of the restaurants, and took a walk on the huge property. It was a little chilly in the apartment when we went (but not terribly so / winter conditions) and so it was a little confusing figuring out how to get the bedroom specifically comfortable temp wise for us. There’s a lot of blankets to use that solved the situation for us though. The bed was also very comfy! But everything else was great!

It was such a lovely place. Was in impression it would be very small but was perfect size. Endless views. Sitting out and letting our toddler play is the best memory from this place.

Great place to stay, quite area, proactive host. I really liked they had a drawer of odds and ends where other guests could leave things for each other to use. The lighting and temperature was great, space was plenty and the kitchen set up was perfect!

If you want a place to relax, this is it. Lesley is a wonderful host and her home is exactly what it looks like in the photos and it's beautiful and clean and wonderful. She responds quickly to questions and her home is clean and bright. Don't pass up a chance to stay there!

We had a wonderful stay here! So many small touches that helped us have a great time and enjoy our trip to Black Canyon NP. Enjoying the sound of the creek in the morning was a highlight. Thank you!

This is a darling location! The furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments, spices and great cooking utensils and pots and pans. The hot tub was clean and used both the nights we were there. Both Mike and Elle's suggestions about area activities was very helpful. The marina across the street has great service for rentals. Oh, did I mention the delicious coffee cake, snacks and OJ left for our enjoyment? It was a truly one of our favorite places to stay!

Susan is a wonderful host, she is so warm and welcoming and I had a great time just chatting with her. She even had a handwritten welcome letter, who does that! The place is conveniently located and being in the basement helps escape the heat. I didn't even have to use the window AC during the day when it was 102 degrees outside. The apartment has a very homey feel with all the nice touches that you expect from your own home. Loved the Keurig machine and the pods provided. There is a nice large grass area behind the house where my dog could roam and sniff about. Half an hour from the place is the trail to Mica mine, high recommend as a hike to do with dog as the other famous areas in Grand Junction are not dog friendly.

Ben has designed and built a 2025 backcountry living environment for the 3 separate cabins and one home . All very private but this would be a great spot for a family reunion ! His creativity & hard work is apparent . Easily available by text if needed. Inside of my cabin was so colorful and eclectic. Dinner table in front patio perfect for sunset . Kitchen is well appointed , has basic spices , foil , plastic wrap and refrigerator is standard size with great freezer . I’ll be back & pack more food for a longer stay . Nice grilling area for all basecamp guests to share, but cabins still private . The wood burning stove was a plus which I enjoyed on a cool early June night .

Description was spot on and this is definitely a place to get away and relax. Amazing opportunities for stargazing and relaxing by the fire. Also, the location makes for a convenient home base to explore Ouray, Telluride, etc. We would stay again if we were to come back to the area in the future!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den. It is everything we usually look for in a place to stay. Beautiful location. CLEAN. Well maintained. And allowed our pups to stay with us. It was a little small for the 6 of us....but overall worked out well. The back deck was my favorite and we enjoyed eating and relaxing on the deck. The nearby lake was really fun to take a rental boat and explore. We also visited Mesa Verde and took the grandchildren on the Durango Silverton train. We would highly recommend Bear's Den. If you want a cozy comfortable cabin to stay in, this is the place. Beds were extremely comfortable. The scenery is GORGEOUS! The closer we got to being there, the more excited we were! Simply beautiful and peaceful. Fantastic star gazing at night. Just wow.

This cabin was a perfect quiet getaway! it fits the description not the penthouse unit but had everything we needed and clean. The location was a great hub for all of our outdoor adventures. Also the small town and the locals we met were extremely great and welcoming!

Lovely cabin by the river and close to Ouray for hiking and the springs.

Beautiful and cozy cabin, I will recommend to anyone visiting the area. The cabin was clean and had everything you could think of accessible if needed. Anne was very responsive and great with communication. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful winter time stay. The cabin was incredibly well stocked which made the snow-machine access only so easy and less stressful. very comfy and cozy. I don't have a single recommendation on how it could be improved. hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Our family LOVED staying at Heather's cozy cabin by Vallecito Reservoir! We kept saying how beautiful and peaceful it was. The communication back and forth was top notch! The cabin was very comfortable and absolutely beautiful! We will absolutely be back! Thank you Heather and Kyle!
