Neat and Clean, two floor apartment in historic building (1652), central located in a quiet pedestrian street. Very central and so easy to reach and to explore from, in a quiet pocket of the the heart of the old center. Apartment is plug and play with all you might need, orientation tour is included (where to do groceries, eat and where not and other information you might need over the city etc.) I do not take groups in their 20ties or anybody coming for partying/festivals.

Heidi and Ben were very welcoming, friendly hosts who we enjoyed meeting - along with Molly the dog :) Heidi has taken great care to make sure guests have everything they could want in this well decorated, charming flat: a well outfitted coffee bar, breakfast makings, even homemade banana bread and a complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival. These added touches were much appreciated, as were the bedroom air conditioning and back deck, a lovely sitting spot with a beer or glass of wine. And the location is perfect - you’re close to everything in central Amsterdam. We walked everywhere, no need for transit. The one small suggestion I’d make is to put a full length mirror in the suite. This is a really great Airbnb! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Peter’s houseboat! It is so quaint and makes you feel like a true local in Amsterdam. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful park across the canal. 10-15 walk to everything. 5 minute walk to the tram. Peter was also very responsive and had great directions. My favorite part is how comfy the bed was, coupled with the deck chairs on the boat. I would highly recommend to all friends and family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was so peaceful, private, and beautiful! We quickly felt right at home. Every evening, we looked forward to coming back to our room. We met the hostess, Leentje, upon arrival. She was lovely and quickly provided us with an umbrella for the day’s light rain. We hope to come back someday! Thank you, Leentje and Arnold!

We had a lovely stay at this houseboat during our several days in Amsterdam. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We wanted the true Amsterdam house boat experience and this is it. The host was extremely responsive and we would definitely stay again. I did want to mention that there is a small ladder type stairs to get in the living/sleeping area of the boat, so just be mindful of that if there is someone handicap traveling with you.
