The house is located in quiet surroundings and there are many opportunities for hiking in forests and swimming in the sea. The city center of Fredrikstad and the college, is only 20 minutes away by foot. 5 minutes to the free ferry that takes you to the old town or city center. In a beautiful old wooden house on a hill, overlooking partly the Oslo fjord, you can rent a simple and cozy furnished basement apartment (about 50 m2) with own entrance. This is in a peaceful villa area, within walking distance to the bus that takes you to Oslo city center in about 30 minutes. The landlord lives in the same house and shares parking and garden. The house is listening, so this space is not suitable for parties and noise, but is suitable for quiet smoke-free people. A nice starting point for exploring Oslo and the surrounding area!

Included in the rent is also TV with chromecast, towels, linens and WiFi. It is 100 meters to the bus stop which in 20 min will take you to Oslo city centre. The bus departs every 15 minutes.

Lovely basement suite for rent, in a quiet villa area. 3 minutes walk to bus stop (Bus 160, enters Oslo S, via Sandvika every 15 mins) 5 min drive to Kolsås subway station. And if you come alternatively by car, there is free parking in the courtyard. It is possible to arrange a pickup at Kolsås metro station, if it fits with the arrival time.

With only 15 min walk (or 2 min to the nearest bus stop) to Ås train station you have a bunch of possibilities. - 19 min with the train to Oslo or Moss - 5 min with train to Ski big center for some shopping in the nearby area - or maybe hop on the bus to Drøbak? Otherwise it is a short walk then you will be out in the woods
