「Tabitabi Moonlight」 is a traditional two-storey machiya , which was built in the Taisho era with more than one hundred years history. We retain the original properties of the machiya by using a lot of wood materials, and design of hollow-out and high ceilings and embellishment of cement and steel elements give this house a sense of modernity. Here, you can experience the original and traditional Japan, and also the ingenuity of combining modern elements with traditional craftsmanship.

This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
