The apartment is located on the north side of Strynsvatnet, 1.5 km from Highway 15, by County Road 722. The apartment was newly renovated in 2019, and has most of the necessary furniture and equipment. Private parking and two terraces. Bedroom with double bed. Corner sofa bed in the living room for 2 persons. TV in the living room, bathroom with shower. Laundry room. Heating cables in floor in living room, kitchen and bathroom. 12 km to Stryn city center, to Loen 22 km. Stryn Summer Ski Center is about a 30 minutes drive away. There are many hiking opportunities nearby.

That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is for the exclusive use of you guests, and access to the rest of the main house is restricted. There are 5 liters of water available in the fridge. Cozy older log cabin in the courtyard is rented out. Good standard. Complete with kitchen utensils. Small bathroom with toilet, sink, shower cabin and washing machine. The cabin has a double bed in the bedroom, and bunk beds in the sleeping alcoves. Short distance to Molde city center, approx. 15 km and approx. 40 km to Åndalsnes. Small convenience store and bus stop about 150 meters from the cabin. Short distance to the lake with beach (approx. 200 meters). Feel free to reach out to the host if you need to check in earlier!

If you like to go on top tours on skis, we have ski in, ski out in the winter. We have the great Berdalsnibba right behind us.
