Sarah's place was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful neighborhood setting. It featured a spacious loft with everything I needed including a comfortable bed, cozy sitting area, large desk, and a terrific shower. Very walkable to Mount Eden and the village nearby with a variety of restaurants and shops. Sarah was easy to contact and always responsive to questions. I highly recommend Sarah's place as an excellent choice in lodging if you are visiting Auckland.

Devonport is a lovely seaside village surrounded by good walks, a great beach, excellent shops and a regular ferry service to the city. After a long trip I wanted to have a little space, quiet and me time before travelling around NZ. This place was just what I needed. The wee house is nestled in a sunny, green garden with the sound of birds tweeting away. It has a separate entrance and is very private. The place was spotless, had a good kitchen and an excellent shower. There’s plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed. Anne is a super friendly host and made me feel at home. Would I recommend this place to stay. Emphatically. Yes!

We had a great stay in Karen’s studio. The accommodation suited us very well. The studio was well appointed and very clean. The family gave us our privacy but engaged when appropriate. Devonport is held high in our hearts, such an interesting village. (It is a place where we once lived- part time.) This was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday weekend. We had a fabulous stay in Auckland. The apartment is very well equipped and the location is very handy, be it for a holiday or a longer stay. There are lots of buses to the CBD - Newmarket and Wynyard quarter - (4 buses per hour during the day (even on Sundays!)) and to the nearby MeadowBank shopping center, and Glen Innes train station is just a 10-minute walk from the apartment. From the station it is very easy to join the CBD (Britomart) or Sylvia Park shopping center (Kmart and the Warehouse are a must). The apartment is a short walk away from a big supermarket and a fresh fruit market. The residential area is very nice and leafy, there is a French bakery and café nearby (Dusty's Depot de pain) but be sure to get there early because at 11am it is often sold out! The apartment has all the equipment needed, the wifi is super fast and reliable, and the owners are a gem! This comfy Moa is definitely an excellent choice for a stay in Auckland.

Amazing stay at Karen’s cabin. Feels very private behind their house with a cute small garden to sit behind the cabin. Very homely and spacious vibes for the size. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Bathroom is very nice as well with washing machine if needed. Bedrooms are good sizes and have decent storage space as well. Karen really goes the extra mile to make you feel at home as well with the complimentary food and drinks. Would definitely stay again and not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I appreciated Brenda's flexible check in & her sending a photo of the garage & driveway as there are lots of parked cars on a narrowish road blocking the view until you are right there. The location was very handy for our evening event & handy to the Orekei Basin & East Coast Bays walking & biking trails. Brenda is friendly, relaxed & onto it, communication-wise. If you have a low to the road front bumper like on my old Toyota Corolla, you might want to park on the street, as there is footpath berm when you come out of the driveway. I enjoyed meeting Max the dog! Excellent affordable accommodation.

Ling was very friendly and responsive. She kept the place spotless, clean and tidy. We felt very welcoming.

Amazing location, just a few mins walk from Oneroa village, close to bus stops. Love that it's pet friendly. The cottage is basic, but clean and has everything you need.

Repeat visits says it all - great location and peaceful, private space right by the beach. Even two rainy weekends weren’t a problem! Great for a weekend or an extended stay for 2 if you want to be near Takapuna/Milford.

This was the fourth time that my daughter and I have stayed at Jacqueline's place. We enjoy staying at her place for several reasons: it is a very aesthetically pleasing unit in a very peaceful location. Jacqueline and Aliva are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants, grocery and all other types of stores are easily reachable.

Very peaceful and quiet with character. We really only spent the nights there as we were visiting family in the neighborhood, but it was very well set up with a good kitchen and a very comfortable bed. I’m sorry we didn’t get the opportunity to meet the whole family as they sound very interesting

Provided the perfect extra bedroom for family staying with us. Shower was really good and bed comfy. Would use again.

Amazing stay at Kate's unit. It was as described and had everything thing that would be needed for several nights stay, clean and tidy unit all up. Kate was always available to help if needed

Location, location, location! It really is an attractive 2-minute walk from lovely Cheltenham Beach. Gesine is really friendly and helpful. The simple studio is light and airy with a generous bathroom. If, like me, you're not bringing a car, there's a dairy at 16 Vauxhall Road (6 min walk) for supplies. I would stay here again in a heartbeat🤗

As a former long-term of Howick I am very familiar with the area surrounding the airbnb. That, together with the photos and description on the website, and the cost were factors that contributed to my selection of the airbnb for my stay in Auckland. The airbnb was very clean and tidy with all the amenities that I required for my stay - a spacious living area, well-appointed kitchen, a clean and tidy bathroom and great laundry facilities. Off street parking was also available for a rental vehicle that I had use of during my stay. An important factor for me was that as a reasonably mobile superannuitant (a) I was able to negotiate the stairs to the airbnb and it was close to public transport (50 yards) within reasonable walking distance to Howick Village and restaurants and other facilities. My hosts were both immediately responsive and informative to any requests. My thanks to Gemma and Matt for making my stay an enjoyable one and I would highly recommend staying there.

Beautiful home, clean tidy and had everything we needed. 2 min drive to scenic reserve and beach. Would love to be back soon.

This seaside sanctuary delivered as promised and then some. It was so perfect for my stay. Quiet, peaceful, and what a beautiful view! I felt as comfortable as I do in my own home and hosts were so kind and accommodating. They showed such wonderful hospitality with some wonderful local groceries upon my arrival. The location was ideal for me and the accommodations were so clean and comfortable. Thank you for such a wonderful place for this weary traveler to rest, revive, and explore so much of what this area has to offer.
