In the village, there is a hidden waterfall as well as a premium hiking trail along the "Roter Puhl." In addition, you will find the best restaurant "Kickert" in the region, a snack bar, bakeries, a hairdresser, a butcher, a pharmacy and an Edeka supermarket in Mettendorf.
