Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the beautiful Carolina Trace development. The unit is located in the downstairs of Lakeview home. It is separate, secure and private from the rest of the home. Plenty of parking. The marina is a short walk away and there is a pool in the development to enjoy. Completely furnished, internet, garbage pickup, fully stocked kitchen, smart tv in each room, washer and dryer, outdoor sitting and a large couch relax in after a busy day.

My family of 4 adults were VERY comfortable; having en-suite bathrooms was perfect. We were in town for a family wedding in Sanford. It was an easy 25 minute drive. The outdoor wedding was July 5th…hottest day of the year…oh how we longed to be back at Angie’s where the AC was fabulous! Separate controls for upstairs and downstairs worked out great for us. The bride quipped “I wish you could make my cake.” So, Angies place was selected due to the photos of the kitchen. The kitchen was perfect! Clean, well equipped, the oven worked perfectly, the refrigerator had all the space needed to store a 3 tier cake. Even tho I was stuck in the house most of the day making a wedding cake, it didn’t feel like it. The kitchen (as well as the rest of the house) is so light and bright with tons windows looking out into the woods; just a lovely space! Angie was responsive and accommodating. We will definitely want to stay at Angie’s on our next visit.

Our visit was wonderful! Joy was very helpful and responsive with any questions leading up to our visit to her home! The deck by the lake was so peaceful to sit by, and the adults enjoyed the lake gear! Highly recommend! House had everything we needed! Master bedroom and bath was such a nice retreat!

This is our second trip to “The Shed” which provided the serenity & rest we were seeking when visiting family from across country (California). The comfort of a king size bed was a priority and Alison’s didn’t fail! My husband has had back surgeries as well as a recent shoulder replacement and this bed suited his needs very well! Beautiful views from bed—saw two deer! Morningcoffee/sugar/cream was available via Keurig but the beautiful 15 min drive to Fuquay Varina for amazing espresso/pastries/coffee at Cultivate Coffee was worth the drive!! We especially loved this property over the Fall season! Nice and cozy warmth. Be mindful that the swamp coolers are a bit noisy in the summer but didn’t keep us away—Alison had The Shed cool upon arrival! Note: If cooking (any smoke at all)—use vent above stove—small area and fire alarm will go off—not able to open kitchen window (we opened outside door) Alison is amazing! Thankful for affordable luxury! Will return! 👍

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage in Sanford, NC. The place was impeccably clean, and the view was beautiful. We especially loved watching the turtles, particularly the one with the distinctive shell pattern. The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get out of them each morning. Although we couldn't go fishing or canoeing due to the rain, it made our stay even more relaxing. Being off the grid was a refreshing change, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Father's Day weekend with my son and husband. We're looking forward to returning regularly! Thanks, Eunice, for being an excellent and accommodating host.

The house was immaculate! Amazingly clean, and updated. The photos do NOT do this house justice! The beds were incredibly comfortable, even the bunk beds! Whoever decorated and designed this house put in exceptional attention to detail. The owners were more than accommodating helping with any questions we had. The only thing we would do differently is hosting our actual wedding HERE. There is a perfect space for a ceremony just slightly on a hill, but definitely doable! Perfect spot for many occasions!
