Life is a journey is a great accomodation. The location was perfect, right next to the beach and in beautiful Yomitan. There a many cafes in the surrounding and a parking lots is provided. You can reach all parts of the island very good because you are located in the middle of many attractions. Beautiful beach are nearby. The only thing I criticise is that the mattress is a bit hard. In total I definitely recommend this place!

I enjoyed my brief stay here. The place was clean, and the bathroom was modern and well-kept. The large window gave a great view of the docks and ships. The on-site laundry machines were really handy, and the communal area was such a nice touch with hammocks, tatami seating, and even musical instruments. The only small issue was that I wasn’t aware about the maintenance and scaffolding beforehand, which worried me at first, but the view was only slightly affected. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to others.

The best place to stay near city. Walkable to bus stops, the famous stretch Kokusai Street. Super friendly staff especially Ms Melissa.

I stayed at MyPlace for a few nights, the hostel is very close to the harbour but you will not be bothered by the sounds of boats, it's also practical if you want to go to islands in the morning. The rooms have 6 beds and one bathroom, if you come home late and you don't want to shower in the room, there are more showers available upstairs which is very practical. Lockers inside the rooms are also available so you can store your bags. The staff was really friendly and helped me with my boat tickets! Would definitely stay here again.

Great hostel! Perfect location to take the ferry. Also, quite close to the main shopping/restaurant street. Room and shared bathrooms were particularly clean and convenient.

3年くらいぶり、2度目の宿泊でした。館内やお部屋は変わらず綺麗で、とても快適に過ごせました。使い捨てアメニティを置かずに環境配慮されている点や、消灯時間が22時と早めなので、夜は静かに過ごせるところが、とても良かったです。おかげさまで、ぐっすり眠れました。ありがとうございました！

This guest house is great! It is conveniently located near the bus terminal, the ferry port, shops, restaurants, etc. The interior is cute and clean and the staff are super welcoming and friendly. It's a wonderful place to meet new people and the atmosphere is warm. Please do not hesitate to stay here when visiting Ishigaki.

The host Taro San was very responsive and polite. He’s always in and out if you need his assistance. He keeps the place very clean. When he’s there, he’s always cleaning. The space is actually good for this style, other stays don’t allow to keep your luggage in the dorm. Mine didn’t fit in the locker so I left it against the wall and no one touched it. The location was perfect. The seawall is a 2 minute walk. Beautiful for morning or evening walks. Amazing restaurants.
