The beautiful half-timbered house is over 200 years old and has been completely renovated. Ground floor: kitchen, dining room, bathroom, On the 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms. Top floor: living room, reading/study room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom. Landlord: uses the office!

Our vacation home is located in a wonderful rural environment and offers direct views of nature. Whether at breakfast overlooking the countryside, on a walk or bike ride on the Ludwig-Donau-Main Canal, here you will find the ideal place to switch off and recharge your batteries. The 160-m² (1,722-sq-ft) apartment on the upper floor has three lovingly furnished double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, a separate toilet, and a covered balcony. Hand towels, shower towels, and bed linens are provided.

Here you will stay in a cozy, bright and lovingly furnished apartment spread over 80 square meters in a quiet location but still central due to the short distance of 4 km to the highway and 2 km to the S-Bahn connection to Nuremberg. In Winkelhaid there are two supermarkets, one of them with a baker and butcher, so nothing stands in the way of self-catering.

The first-floor apartment has a view of the natural garden with fruit tree meadow from two terraces. Our small village is located in a charming landscape with cycling and hiking trails. 5 residents help with tips in six languages. Two swimming lakes are 10 km away. Limited shopping in the valley itself. In Hersbruck and Altdorf there are supermarkets and organic shops. 30 minutes by car, by train in 15 minutes from Hersbruck to Nuremberg. We keep bees and an old breed of sheep.

The guesthouse of the villa Alfeld, completed in 2024, is idyllically situated in the middle of the beautiful village of Alfeld in the Nuremberg region. The location of the accommodation, away from the main road with its south-facing orientation, offers you peace and relaxation at all times. Enjoy the sensational view through the all-glass front into nature and at the villa built in 1896. Relax in our lounge corner on the gallery and take a break from everyday life.

In the garden you can fully relax, linger and enjoy: There is a sauna for the winter and a heated pool in the summer (23 degrees). Bike tours, hikes or just a cozy day in the garden - everything is right "in front of your nose." I'm happy to help you choose hiking, running or cycling tours. A car is required to get there. Public transport is rather difficult
