We travel with our family every three years. This year was Portugal. We spent one week in the Algarve at Steve’s home. The home was perfect for eight adults, four children and two infants. The house had a great layout for a big family. The pool was wonderful so relaxing every afternoon to come back and swim. Steve and Nathalie were great house. Great recommendations for food and activities, including car rental rentals. If we come back to Portugal, we would stay here again thank you for a fantastic holiday home.

Wir waren eine Woche in Sophies Unterkunft und es war super nett und entspannend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Was man wissen sollte, die Wohnung liegt ein paar Meter oberhalb der Straße, man sollte also fit genug für den Weg sein. Wir haben es mit Koffern problemlos geschafft. Das Bad ist sehr klein, aber alles machbar. Die Küche war wirklich super ausgestattet. Restaurants und Lebensmittel sind fußläufig erreichbar, Sophie stand uns immer als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung!

Wir verbrachten 8 wundervolle Tage in der Villa „Casa vista do mar“ – ein echtes Paradies. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, umgeben von purer Natur mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. Das Ferienhaus ist top ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Dank Tobias’ Wegbeschreibung war die Anreise vom Flughafen Faro problemlos. Vor Ort stand uns Andrea zur Seite und versorgte uns direkt mit Infos zu Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugszielen. Wir konnten wunderbar abschalten und neue Energie tanken. Die Ruhe, die Aussicht und die liebevolle Betreuung machten unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Wir empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiter und wissen schon jetzt: Wir kommen wieder! Wish we could have stayed for a month! Claudia was wonderful! What a little gem she has! Perfectly decorated, everything we needed, clean, comfortable, it was a perfect stay!

Der Kontakt mit Marcella war sehr herzlich und zuverlässig. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Die Lage perfekt. Wir haben uns dort wie Einheimische gefühlt. Es ist ruhig, authentisch und wenig touristisch. Ein kleines Sofa wäre toll ;-)

We loved staying here. Anna-Lena was very welcoming. Her place is very special and has been created with a lot of love. There were also oranges and wine in our kitchen which was lovely. Anna-Lena took the time to share info on hikes and beaches. We love having locals tell us about special spots.

Das Appartment liegt mitten in der Natur, aber nicht weit von dem schönen Ort Odiceixe entfernt. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

We had the most beautiful time at Casa da Montanha. Would not have anything any other way, everything you may need is at your disposal. Luz is an amazing place to holiday and relax in. We are very sad to have only had 4 nights, we would've loved to do another week here!! Thanks so much for the stay, we will be back!!

Anja and Paul's home was fantastic! Everything was immaculate! Paul waited for us and showed pointed to where the stores were, everything was within walking distance and a very comfortable walk. Es war absolut wundervoll bei Leslie. Die Wohnung war super schön und wirklich riesig. Die Lage ist absolut traumhaft: total ruhig gelegen in einem Tal mit kleinem Dorf nebenan. Ein riesiges Grundstück mit jeder Menge Sachen zu entdecken. Auch für Kinder einfach genial. Überall gibt es was zu klettern, zu schaukeln oder ein Trampolin zum hüpfen. In der Unterkunft selber gab es Spielzeug und alles was man für einen Strandausflug braucht: Schirm, schaufeln, Eimer usw. Leslie war unfassbar hilfsbereit und hat uns unter anderem super schnell ein Mückennetz zum aufhängen vorbei bringen lassen, da wir etwas Pech mit den Plagegeistern hatten. Wir werden sehr wahrscheinlich nochmal wieder kommen, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

This was an incredible stay! The cleanest air bnb I have ever stayed in. Host was very friendly and kind and accommodating, great walkable area. Very quiet and comfortable. AC in the unit, all the amenities!

Het appartement is ruim en heeft alle comfort. Ons verblijf was begin mei, het was erg rustig in de omgeving. Weinig appartementen waren bezet. Wat ons het meest plezier deed, was het prachtige terras met zich op de oceaan (in de verte). Heerlijk om er te ontspannen. Van deze locatie bereikten we vlot, per huurwagen, leuke locaties: de westkust, Albufeira, Silves, Monchique, Luz, ... Er is een fijn strand op wandelafstand. Er zijn restaurantjes in de buurt, voor elk wat wils. Misschien is er minder rust wanneer het hoogseizoen is aangebroken, maar begin mei was het heerlijk rustig en nog niet te warm.

Super Kommunikation mit Pedro. Immer eine schnelle Antwort bekommen. Sehr leicht zu erreichen und gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Check-In war super einfach. Wir haben 6 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht. (Hätten auch gerne mehr verbracht) Es war alles vorhanden was man gebraucht hat. Besonders gut fanden wir die ruhige Umgebung. 3 Swimmingpools und ein kleine Kinder/Babybecken. Sehr schöner Strand. Aurelia’s house had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. I especially appreciated the local guidebook on the living room table- it’s clear Aurelia truly cares about her guests’ experience.

Great apartment. Clean and comfortable - had everything you needed. Excellent location - pools and beach all within 5 minute stroll. Restaurant and supermarket directly under apartment - super convenient. Roof terrace perfect for relaxing in the evening. Hope to return in the future. Thanks to Harold - very helpful host.

The most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. We travel as a family of 7 and use Airbnb regularly all over the world. This is the best presented, best location, so close to fun experiences, history, culture, beaches. We all loved it and wish we’d stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well thought out and stunningly decorated, with well curated art. It felt like home much more than the average Airbnb experience. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Vila G, Mira Luz was all that we had hoped it would be. The stunning views were not hard to take every morning over coffee. The accommodations were very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Walking distance to the beach and the little shops/restaurants. The area was quiet and well maintained with a gated community to feel safe and secure. We even survived the blackout ! Thank you for hospitality would definitely recommend.

5-Star Stay at a Stunning Villa Near Alvor We had an incredible stay at this beautiful villa near Alvor. The property exceeded all our expectations—it’s spacious, immaculately maintained, and set in a peaceful location with a lovely garden that overlooks a golf course. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The private pool was a standout feature—clean, well-sized, and perfect for both swimming and lounging. Inside, the villa is beautifully furnished, with comfortable bedrooms and a truly exceptional kitchen that’s better equipped than most homes. It made cooking a real pleasure. Everything about our stay was smooth and enjoyable, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of thought into the details to make guests feel welcome. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and would absolutely love to return. A perfect Airbnb experience from start to finish.

The villa was absolutely beautiful. It looked exactly like the photos. It accommodated 6 adults and 2 children comfortably. Whilst we were there the towels were changed, beds were stripped, pool cleaned, gardens maintained. The villa is very well cared for. Agree with other reviews that you either need a car or be prepared to get a taxi (7 euros to the marina). The walk is doable but part of it is along a quick road with blind corners and no pavement. We didn’t feel safe doing it. We had one issue that was dealt with - thank you for the responsive communication. Thank you for the welcome drink left in the fridge. We were met personally on arrival and could check in early due to a morning flight. We would 100% stay here again and recommend.

Our party of 8 stayed at Cristina's Villa for 10 days at the beginning of June. It is truly gorgeous, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, super large bedrooms all with en-suite and as already mentioned on other reviews the view from the terrace is amazing. So lovely to have the pool with sun loungers, many a happy hour was spent there enjoying the sunshine. Cristina is a great host… very helpful and quick to respond if we needed her for any queries or local recommendations etc. We didn’t hire a car but very good beach bars and restaurants are nearby.. we also walked into Lagos several times returning by taxis which were readily available from the main road near the old town… Pingo Doce supermarket are happy to call a taxi for you … Also we were lucky to find the services of N&E taxi company… Vitor and Nuno offer a fantastic friendly service. We all had a great holiday and can thoroughly recommend the Villa of Magical Light.

Returning to this luxury property feels like coming home. The hosts and Laura, go above and beyond to ensure each stay surpasses the last. Their attention to detail, proactive communication, and warm hospitality make every visit exceptional. I'm grateful for the consistency and quality of care they provide and look forward to many more stays. Highly recommended for those seeking a truly attentive and luxurious experience. Honestly, I can’t say enough about Ana on how she went above and beyond to make my weekend celebrating my birthday and bachelorette with my friends special! She went as far as to in on the surprise to ensure that I was completely blown away! The villa is spectacular and my only regret is the number of balloons we left lying around when we left (sorry Ana). The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, great convenient location with a grocery store and cafes nearby. Also wasn’t too far to get to the main strip! I highly recommend booking this gorgeous villa!

Samen met twee gezinnen verbleven wij in het mooie huis van Ilka. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en heel erg comfortabel. De tuin is prachtig en erg goed onderhouden. Ook voor de kinderen was de tuin perfect en zij hebben heerlijk kunnen spelen. Het zwembad, met verwarming, was heerlijk. Voor ze kinderen was het erg fijn dat zij zelf gemakkelijk in en uit het zwembad konden door de trap en ook konden staan aan het begin van het zwembad. Ilka is heel vriendelijk en reageert erg snel op berichten. Ze dacht altijd fijn mee en had veel tips. Het huis ligt afgelegen, met ontzettend veel privacy, maar toch op maar 10 minuten rijden van Lagos. We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf.! Wanneer wij weer naar dezelfde regio zouden gaan zou ik dit huis zonder twijfel opnieuw boeken!
