Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ocean View, Norfolk

The house was clean and felt like home. The hostess was great to deal with and very responsive. We had an excellent experience staying hear.

The only issue was there was no propane for us to use the firepit but we found another way to fix smores.

Lisa was exceptional, responded quickly and just an overall pleasure to deal with. The home was great and the location was good as well.

Unassuming Exterior, Total Sanctuary Inside From the outside, you’d never guess how special this place is—but the moment you walk in, it feels like a hidden retreat. The space is beautifully designed with a peaceful, minimal aesthetic and full of thoughtful details. Everything was spotless, cozy, and curated for relaxation. What truly stood out were the calming, beautiful views—they added an extra layer of tranquility that made us want to stay longer. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or unwinding at night, the scenery was pure serenity. This is the kind of place that invites you to slow down, exhale, and really enjoy the moment. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

I could not wait to write a review about our stay. So much so that we are not even home yet. We had a glorious week at Bay Bliss! Bliss is the perfect description. Anywhere in this beautiful home you can hear the waves of the ocean. There was nothing better than listening to that while falling asleep on the comfiest bed in the master bedroom. Hosts were extremely responsive, helpful with local recommendations and extremely friendly. I have stayed at lot of AirBnb’s and hotels. Honestly, I have never felt so at home and I felt that way from the second I walked in the door. We will definitely be back.

This home stands out among the many air B&B’s I have stayed it. Emily and Abel provided many extras such as cold water and snacks when we arrived, beach towels for our use, dog food bowls for our dog, soft beds with plush throws to use at our leisure. The neighborhood is walkable filled with southern charm. Our family used this home as a gathering place for my son’s wedding. It exceeded my expectations.

Great place for a summer vacation, we got the place for our family visiting from abroad for our wedding and they loved it son much. Great restaurant are nearby. Definitely recommend it.

The entrance is in the mid-exterior of the car wash where the clients clean their cars. After you park, you have to walk with all of your luggage through the car wash's exterior (amidst client cleaning their cars) and go up many stairs. But when you enter the loft, you are extremely surprised by the beautiful, modern and clean space. Chandler was available every time I needed clarity on instructions. Bring your own food and beverages. There is a pool nearby which is available. Even though there are minimal eateries in the immediate community, there are places within short distance (mall, movies, restaurants) and there is always Virginia Beach.

Amazing host for taking us in on a few hours notice. Clean property with clear rules and easy to contact for any questions. The property even had extra trash bags which was a huge help when needing to clean up before checkout time. I personally haven’t had any other airbnbs with extra trash bags so that was a major plus!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walkable distance to a lot of great restaurants and things to do. Really enjoyed the back deck. Would definitely book again!

Pip was great! She responded well within the normal response time and was helpful with recommending restaurants in the area. She also provided soap which was something I missed in the amenities list. The location is great and the apt was well lit, very clean, and I felt safe walking in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this location as it’s not as crowded than being on Virgina Beach. We’ll be back before the summer is over. One note is that the apt is on the 3rd floor because the ground floor is for parking.

Our stay here was fantastic! Very close to the beach which you can walk to, and only a short drive away from the waterfront that has great restaurants and lots to do! The place itself was clean, quiet and the perfect size for 2 people. If you’re looking for something with great amenities for the size, and in a great location this is it!

It was a great stay, Peter was even accommodating when i asked for an extra night. This place is a beautiful hide out. Clean and reasonable and it was convenient to other places in VA. Would definitely stay again.

This by far was the best Air BnB experience I’ve ever had! Lauren was a great host! She went above and beyond to make sure me and my girlfriend’s stay was enjoyable! She even made a Hors d'oeuvre for us! Will definitely book again!

We loved this cabin, and Caleb was such a gracious host! Arriving to a dozen farm fresh eggs was such a treat. We grabbed some bacon (Smithfield brand, of course) at the local Kroger and had eggs and bacon every day of our trip. The cabin is so quite and peaceful. It literally feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but it's a 5 minute drive to all kinds of shops and activities. The povided kayaks were a major selling point for us. It was a very relaxing and beginner friendly paddle up the creek to the river. We saw all kinds of wildlife including otters playing in the creek! It is true that the hot tub is a little glitchy, but it was plenty warm and didn't impact our enjoyment of it at all. Caleb was kind enough to stack wood in the fire pit for us, making our evening campfire easy and streamline. The cabin is really close to great hiking, boutique and antique shops, the brewery, winery and restaurants. I wish we would have taken him up on the offer to bring our dogs. Next time!

the cabin is a perfect place for someone looking for a quiet night or two and doesn't require too many amenities.
