Vacation rentals with an EV charger in Northern California

I’m a repeat customer and hopefully will return again in December. I don’t want to stay anywhere else.

Terrific place! Very comfortable and in a fantastic location. Talitha and Allen are outstanding hosts.

Top Story is top-notch. Really well equipped kitchen with thoughtful extras like a Keurig coffee machine and pods and compostable plastic ziplocks for your picnic lunches. Comfortable beds. Fine wi-fi. Well-stocked bathroom (although the shower is a bit small). Nice design sense. The little touches like home-made baked goods and a welcome basket are definitely a plus. Wendy was both very pleasant and responsive. Would definitely chose Top Story for a Loyalton stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location couldn’t have been more perfect—just a few blocks from our favorite Cheeseboard Collective Pizzeria and within easy walking distance to UC Berkeley. We were in town for a wedding and needed a family-friendly place nearby, and this home checked every box and more. The space was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The bathroom was especially impressive—clean, well-stocked with soft towels, and featuring a beautifully laid-out shower and hot tub that made winding down in the evenings a true treat. The kitchen was pristine and fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy meals during our stay. Traveling with little ones can be challenging, but this home made it easy. There was even a pack 'n play ready for our infant, which was such a thoughtful touch. The layout of the home was comfortable, cozy, and made our time there feel like a true home-away-from-home. Highly, highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Berkeley

A modern updated unit with old time cabin charm. The Kitchenette was perfectly stocked and clean with essentials. The small extra personal touches like the white noise machine, slippers, eye masks, ear plugs and even a toothbrush were thoughtful and added to a great experience. A couple hiccups: Parking is assigned with the same number as your unit and ours housed the shared Tesla charger. Two of the nights after returning we were not able to park in our spot because someone was charging their vehicle. Minor inconvenience and did not spoil the trip. I did reach out to the host and they immediately responded with other parking options for us. There is also minimal storage areas for luggage. I like to unpack into drawers for the week but unfortunately, the only spare drawers were in the bathroom. Next time I stay here I will pack light. I will 100% book here again.

Great location and accommodation. All round good stay, but should not really be listed to accommodate 3 persons as one will need to sleep in floor.

- First of all the check-in instructions were super clear and concise, unfortunately we've arrived at about midnight so it was a little dark (as is expected as it's in the woods almost!) however because the instructions were really clear it made it very easy to locate keys and find the accommodation. - The description and pictures provided also show the property in a very accurate manner, it's very beautiful inside and incredibly homely, definitely felt like our own little home away from home. The kitchen facilities are also fully fitted so we've had no trouble cooking 'at home'. - One point worth noting is that the images don't do the location it self justice, the area is absolutely beautiful, full of natural wonder and some amazing views. The best part is a big chunk of said views is within walking distance. - I couldn't reccomend staying here enough, it doesn't even have to be snow season to enjoy this B&B! If it were an option I'd give it more than 5 stars, worth every penny!

It was a fun place to stay, just be aware that there are dogs that wandered around (they were extremely friendly). There were shared spaces as the space connected to a common room with other units that opened into it. Our guests were fine with this arrangement. Their was a view of cows in a pasture from the window. The bathroom is actually outside the unit and we shared it with someone else, but it was never an issue and everything was super clean and well maintained. It is a great value.

This property is amazing in every way. There’s a view from the ocean from almost every room, beautiful tile work and gorgeous, well appointed bathrooms. A sauna and extra hot hot tub. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The house itself is beautiful with private spaces, but also a large living room where everyone can gather around a beautiful tiled potbelly fireplace. It’s a short walk to the beach through a charming neighborhood. The host Rebekah was very communicative and generous, allowed us flexible, check-in and check out. I will 100% be staying here again.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

We love this place so much that we came back for a second time. Peaceful home. Kid and dog friendly. Spent our days at tide pools and hiking through redwoods. Cant beat the location.

John's place is a beautiful get-away, in a beautiful location! We had a great time playing table tennis, enjoying the views, and winding down on our road trip down the west coast. On top of that, John was super responsive and helped us by thinking along on how to make our stay as pleasant as possible :)

This coastal home was truly magical—perched right by the ocean with stunning views of the sunset and night sky. The house itself is beautifully designed, with so much love and care evident in every detail. It felt warm, peaceful, and thoughtfully put together. Ted was a fantastic host—very responsive and proactive, even informing us about a PG&E power outage that we didn’t even feel thanks to the battery backup. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a serene and unforgettable stay.

Came back for a second stay, and was as wonderful and peaceful as we remembered it to be. The home is an incredible retreat - great views, and everything we needed for a relaxing two days away from the city. Appliances are top notch, and everything is thoughtfully laid out. Carolyn is a very thoughtful host, and quickly answered questions we had. Would recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we would love to be back again in the future!

This was a perfect stay. I don’t think the pictures do this place justice. The view was fantastic but even more impressive were the hosts. We lost our car keys when we were checking out, and the hosts were incredible and so accommodating. They even offered to let us stay another night if we needed too. This was one of our best Airbnb stays ever. I highly recommend it. We are even thinking about making a special trip back just to stay here again. Thanks Nate and Zoe!

May’s place was beautiful! Peaceful and quiet! We had a fun and relaxing girls weekend and this place was the perfect spot to do it! May was a wonderful host, would definitely stay here again!

It was lovely, they let us check in about an hour early, an check out an hour later than the regular time. Much appreciated.

Great accommodation for a weekend. Cozy and had all the right amenities. Only downside is that it’s a bit challenge to get ride accommodations to go outside of village to Truckee area.

Our family’s stay was a wonderful experience. The condo was clean and stocked with plenty of blankets and linens, and beds were very comfy! Great walkable restaurants and a family-friendly pool and close access to the trails for plenty of fun made for a great stay all around!

One of the best places I’ve stayed in Airbnb in the Tahoe area. The place is pretty new and we feel right at home. Everything feels clean and comfortable. The host is great and communicated very well and also was very accommodating. Would recommend

Krista's condo is truly chic. The photos represented the condo beautifully which is not always the case with other airbnbs we have stayed at! Everything was perfect and we would stay again in a second!

Excellent vacation condo, filled our needs well. Even though there were only 2 of us, we wanted a high lofted ceiling for natural light and airiness and Courcheval was perfect. We didn’t even use the 2nd floor bedroom or extra loft space, but it would be very nice, if needed. Clean condo with everything….comfortable living room and king-sized bed, kitchen well-appointed. The personal BBQ was an added value, instead of having to walk to a public BBQ….got to eat rib eye, chicken, and salmon at our own prices, as the town has become pretty expensive to eat out. Hot tub was good, though maybe a little TOO hot….however, it’s uphill and you also have to climb stairs to get to it. Tip: we parked the 100 yds. closer to the bottom of the stairway and just climbed from there. Hint to staff: lowering water temp about 4-5 degrees would be fine! Extra value enclosed garage, although with a full-sized truck we didn’t try to shoehorn it in at an angle…just parked in front.

This location is ideal for those who like easy access to hiking, walking, beach, pools etc. Also a short drive to Capitola, and Santa Cruz to the North. Views from the balcony are way better than the pictures. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

We had a great stay! The place was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made the whole experience very smooth. The location was super convenient—close to everything we needed. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
