Vacation rentals in Nore og Uvdal Municipality

We are a family of 10 who stayed at this cabin and it was extremely comfortable. The layout of the house was nice with plenty of room for gathering in the kitchen and living room (the recliner is so comfortable, I'm going to buy myself one just like it!) as well as comfortable bedrooms. Cooking in the kitchen was no problem as it was well stocked with everything we needed (pots/pans etc). Location was perfect for being in the countryside, but it was close enough to grocery stores, train station, and the city center of Geilo that there was no problem traveling there and back multiple times (a day trip on the train to Flam is doable and beautiful, I highly recommend it). It was so close to the Ruperandan and easy to access. This is a highlight of the property! Ski in/out from your front door in the winter time! Terje was an excellent host and always communicated thoroughly and in a speedy manner.

Very nice family cabin with so much history and details. Combination of both modern and cosyness. Lovely terrace with jacuzzi, comfortable living and sleeping rooms. Fully equipped for everyone’s needs. Kind and helpful host, also very responsible . Located at nice and children friendly Ulvedal ski resort with children playground near the cabin. This time, we were old school friends meeting for summer activities at Dagali like Canoying and rafting. Short weekend trip, so we didn’t had much time to take any hiking trips, but is defiantly recommended for that as well. I Hope will came back with family in winter tome to Ulvedal ski senter.

Min kæreste og jeg har haft 8 helt vidunderlige sommerdage i Marias hytte. Hytten er utroligt hyggelig, komfortabel og har alt, hvad man behøver og mere til. Beliggenheden er overvældende og med let adgang til det ene vidunderlige sted efter det andet. Min kæreste cykler og har cyklet lange og fantastiske ruter på både landevej og mountainbike, ligesom gravelruterne er utroligt gode. Derudover er der vandreruter lige uden for døren og endnu flere, hvis man flytter sig lidt, som vi begge dele gjorde god brug af. Sidst men ikke mindst er der uforglemmelige naturlige badesteder rundt i området. Hytten er perfekt til at slappe af efter en god dag, med dejlig terrasse, stue, plads til at lave god mad og ikke mindst god kaffe. Kontakten med Maria var virkelig god hele vejen igennem, check-in er super smart, nemt og fleksibelt. Hun har lavet gode guides til hytten og skrev både, da vi kom, da vi tog afsted og svarede altid med det samme, når vi tog kontakt. Vi savner allerede hytten og kan kun anbefale den og Maria til alle andre.

Fantastic stay, the cabin feels larger than the photos. The view is stunning and the area very calm. Theresa was extremely helpful and nice to deal with, we loved our stay and will hopefully revisit!

Hytta var veldig flott og vi trivdes godt! Nydelig utsikt til Gaustatoppen🙂 Vi er kjempefornøyde med servicen vi fikk av verten!

Het was een prima verblijf voor ons drieën. Ruimte voldoende en compleet uitgerust. Daarnaast ligt de locatie vlak bij de doorgaande weg (7) Oslo naar Bergen. Een ideale locatie ook voor doorreizigers. In de directe omgeving is er zowel zomers als ook in de winter meer dan genoeg te beleven en te doen. Wij zijn er in totaal 6 dagen geweest en kunnen de accommodatie ten zeerste aanbevelen.

Aliaksei var en utmerket vert, og hytta var i upåklagelig stand. Det var god plass, en ekstraordinær utsikt over innsjøen og fjellene. Også veldig koselige utestoler for å sitte og nyte kveldssola og grille. Vi nøt virkelig oppholdet vårt der.

A cozy hut with a wonderfull view over the lake. We stayed in wintertime (early february) and had no issues getting to the cabin by crossing the frozen lake by ski, after arriving by train in hagastol (3km). So it is also possible to get to the cabin by public transport and ski as long as the lake is frozen and safe to cross. We had many options for crosscountry skiing on the lake and up the mountains. If you need marked trails for orientation, it would be better to come when winterseason has started (end of february). We visited Monsbunuten and had an incredible view over the hardangervidda nationalpark. The cabin is very spacious. It can be heated by electricity and woodstove. We felt home ammediatly. We found a wonderfull place to rest and reset. We can recommend this place for everyone who seeks out a calm and quiet place in nature with the opportunity to explore the lake and fjäll region around it.
