a beautiful white house. felt like I was living in an Ikea showroom, in a good way. rooms are plenty. living room is spacious and a huge TV with netflix. loved our stay here!

very rare property in the countryside area of Tokyo. a chance to experience the tranquility of nature, enjoy walks by the river and hikes in the forest. the house is well equipped and comfortable. we stayed for 2 weeks and it felt like home. we did plenty of cooking and enjoyed it much. after a busy day visiting Tokyo, only am hour plus away and we got to rest in the clean air and enjoy the bird singing. the area is just beautiful.

This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. If you come before May, and you are someone who tends to get chilly.. be sure that you bring something cozy and warm to sleep in. After all, this is a classic, gorgeous, paper, and glass house. Even though it can be a little bit breezy like when we stayed in early April, the comforters and mats kept us very warm. Comfy warm house slippers were provided. It is stocked with all of the cooking and eating utensils and dishes you might need. The dining area and prep area is wonderful, so spacious and inviting. Be sure to stop at the local grocery store before you go, as the nearest one is about 15 minutes drive. Our host Yoko San was even kind enough to suggest that we did this first as she knew that we were not driving there but taking public transportation and she wanted to be sure that we had everything we needed. She even recommended a local grocery store. This is a rare opportunity to experience history.

We had an amazing Golden Week stay at Tateya vacations with Honza and Mami, who were the kind of hosts that make you feel instantly at home. My two boys and I spent a long weekend exploring Akiruno’s trails (thanks to their top-notch tips), then recharging in total comfort. The house is peaceful, with a calming creek out back—my personal happy place was sipping espresso from their excellent machine, listening to the water. We also loved winding down at night with a movie on their fantastic sound system—felt like our own private cinema in the woods! Perfect mix of nature and modern perks. We left relaxed, recharged, and already planning a return visit. Thank you for a great break and appreciate your hospitality!

Outstanding stay - highly recommended! This property exceeded all my expectations! The space was clean and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature furnishings that are both stylish and functional. The location is perfect—it’s just a 4-minute walk to Fussa Station, making it super convenient for getting around. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, so grabbing essentials or meals was never an issue. As someone who needed to work remotely during my stay, I was thrilled with the high-speed internet suitable for remote work—no connectivity issues whatsoever! The nearby car park (metered parking) was also a huge plus, especially in this area where parking can be challenging. The host was responsive, and the check-in process was smooth. Everything was exactly as described, and the attention to detail showed. This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The place is great! From amenities to privacy. We have a total privacy and it feels like home. Host is also responsive and accommodating from our enquiries. Near to MRT station too! Will stay here again the next i come back to Japan. :)

We (three adults) had a very nice stay at this apartment in a residential neighborhood. It was clean and well-appointed, and it is an easy straight walk to Hamura Station, which is helpful if you get lost easily. It was also easy to walk to the grocery, drugstore, bakery, greengrocer, and various restaurants. (If you like soba, be sure to visit the soba place behind 7-11 that looks more like a house. A hidden gem!) I would advise that the toilet room is very small and difficult to maneuver in, so if you are a larger person, it may not work for you. There's also a fairly steep flight of steps leading to the apartment. We received friendly and helpful responses the few times we had any questions or needs. We would readily stay here again.

Great place if you’re visiting someone near Yokota AB. Very spacious and has everything you need. Also the walk to Haijima station was very easy.

I had a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The check-in process was smooth and contactless, which made everything super easy. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh towels, kitchen essentials, and fast Wi-Fi. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, and public transit, making it easy to get around. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, which was a big plus. The host was also very responsive and friendly, offering great local recommendations and checking in to make sure everything was going well. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It felt like a home away from home!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Family of 3 (with a 2 year old). Couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay. Two large supermarkets with fresh food literally across the road, lots of options for a quick local meal. Short journey (15-30min) by express railway with minimal transfers to shibuya, shinjuku, daikanyama, nakameguro, aoyama etc. (but conversely further to get to the other side of Tokyo). Railway station is 5 min walk away, easily accessible for strollers etc. The house is lovely. Spacious (more than photos show), with balcony and rooftop for private open areas. Full amenities provided. Kitchen, aircon/heating. As mentioned in other reviews, given its proximity to the station/shopping centre, there is street noise into the night/early morning - but earplugs are provided! Cot provided was great for our toddler, and bathtub easy to run for washes. Small space at bottom of stairs to store your stroller overnight (behind private locked gate). recommend this place for the reasons above!

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.

This is a great apartment in the Koreantown section of Shinjuku known as Shin Okubo. Eric is a great host who was very proactive. He arranged a car service for us for pickup at Haneda Airport and then took us out for our first night on the town in Shibuya. The apartment is typically small for Tokyo, and is on the 3 floor but it was large enough that my daughter and I had separate spaces to decompress after our daily trips through Tokyo. It is a short straight walk to the Shin Okubo train station where you can catch the Yamanote Line that circles Tokyo and takes you to every connecting train in the city. This allowed us to go out each morning fo an early start and come home for a rest before heading out for nighttime fun. It was also a very easy walk to Shinjuku Station and all the nightlife and shopping that you could want. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and modest. We slept soundly with no city noise. There were convenience stores on every corner and vending machines everywhere

Fantastic place in a good location. It was very refreshing to stay here after being in various smaller places as this place is quite big! The place is well set up and is very convenient! Han is such a super helpful host!
