Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Nicolosi

Geweldig huis met prachtig uitzicht op zee. Ruim genoeg voor ons gezelschap van 6 volwassenen en 4 kinderen, met grote woonkamer, fijne keuken met grote eettafel en meer dan genoeg slaapkamers en badkamers. Fantastische tuin met zwembad, al is het zwembad onverwarmd en toen wij er waren in april net te koud om er aangenaam in te kunnen zwemmen. De uitrusting van de keuken was prima in orde, maar ik vond het fornuis en de oven aan de kleine kant voor de hoeveelheid personen waarop het huis berekend is. Koken voor 10 personen was een uitdaging, meerdere grote pannen pasten eigenlijk niet op het fornuis. De omgeving van het huis is wel wat afgelegen, een auto is een must om ergens te komen. Patrizio is een fijne host, reageerde snel en hielp ons waar nodig. Al met al hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad en raden we dit huis zeker aan!

We have been using Airbnb for many years now, so when we meet very good hosts we recognise them straight away. Agatino is naturally able to make you feel welcome, the villa is very elegant and the garden is very well maintained with a very nice view of the vignard. Nothing was missing inside the house and we actually didn’t know that breakfast was included, so a nice bonus. In other words we only stayed two nights but we wish we had stayed longer.I hope we will have a chance to come back again.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno la scorsa settimana. La casa era incredibile e aveva una vista sull'Etna, Castelmora e sul mare. I padroni di casa ci hanno dato alcuni buoni suggerimenti su ristoranti e cose da fare. Ci tornerei sicuramente in questa casa se dovessi tornare.

We had a great stay in Tina’s place. Tina was always very helpful and very quick to respond to requests. The place is really peaceful and beautiful. To sit outside and listen to nightingales singing, scops owls calling at night and many more birds was fantastic. The only other noise was the bells on the cows as they came past the house to go for a drink. The flowers along the tracks are gorgeous. The place has a fantastic ambience. A wonderful relaxing retreat. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Adorable cottage with incredible views! It was perfect location for the three of us. Smack in the middle between Teormina and Catania with gorgeous Reposto in between. That is if you have a car. The accommodations are just as described and on the photos. Maybe a little more of a seating area in the living room would be fantastic since that is where the internet is the strongest. Otherwise the garden, the jacuzzi, the neighborhood - all are beyond enjoyable! We would love to come back. Oh, yes, if you are thinking about hiking Mount Etna - just ask Andrea! You would have the BEST experience possible!!!!

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und lädt zum erholen ein. Für Umgebung ist ruhig und der Ausblick genial. Es empfiehlt sich aber ein Auto vor Ort zu haben da in dem kleinen Dörfchen Puntalazzo die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten beschränkt sind. Zur nächsten größeren Stadt (Giarre) sind es ca. 20 min mit dem Auto das geht aber völlig in Ordnung. Die Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus können je nach Auto herausfordern sein da es etwas verwinkelt ist. Allerdings gibt es 1 min entfernt einen Parkplatz. Orazio ist ein super Host, er ist schnell im Antworten und gibt gute Empfehlungen für die Umgebung und Restaurants. Er ist extrem daran interessiert den Aufenthalt zu bereichern und ist immer gut erreichbar🤩 Absolut top. 👍

La petite maison de Francesca et Enzo est idéalement située au pied de l'Etna mais aussi dans une localité paisible, jolie et très agréable, avec toutes les facilités. Nous y avons passé un séjour génial pour visiter toute la côte est de la Sicile. Francesca est particulièrement attentionnée et de très bon conseil. Nous recommandons fortement aux voyageurs qui cherchent le calme, l'authenticité et le contact.

Had an amazing two month stay in this place. The apartment is spaceous and centrally located, I felt right at home. Lisania and her husband were very welcoming and provided fresh linens throughout my stay.

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

Very nice apartment in a great location. It comes with a balcony with a great view on the mountains, the sea and Taormina. The apartment has everything you need. Also a few drinks and snacks. It has a free parking spot on the premises. Couldn’t find any other Airbnb with free parking. Restaurants, bars and beach are reachable by foot within 5min. The host Alessandra is a very nice person, she helped us with our luggage, gave recommendations and even a little gift after checkout. It’s on the 4th floor and has no elevator, but for us it was not a problem. Due to its central location it can be a bit loud. It’s not located by the main road but motorbikes in the whole area are just loud. In the night it gets more quiet, no more trains and you won’t have any problems to sleep. I highly recommend.

This is a spacious airbnb with a wonderful view of Mt Etna. 5 minute drive to the local jeep tours of Mt Etna. Local grocery store just down the street. Comfortable beds. Would definitely come stay here again next time we visit and bring more family to enjoy the space and view!

My 3 sisters and I stayed for our annual European trip and the apartment met out needs and more. Every morning was spent on the balcony taking in the breathtaking views. Taormina is the jewel in Sicily’s crown with so much to do and see including a taste of opera, history, boat tours, beaches, shopping, gelato and more. 5 days was not long enough. Local shops and amenities are on the doorstep and you couldn’t ask for a better location with easy access to the cable car and bus stops etc. Very easy pick up/drop off for Uber. Steps are a feature of the area so pack at least 1 pair of sensible shoes!

Eine tolle Zeit haben wir dort verbracht. Leider nur 2 Nächte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Es war genau das was wir brauchten. Und es ist ein interessantes und beeindruckendes Projekt.

Sono stata a casa di Francesca per una settimana. La casa è in una posizione perfetta, vicinissimo a lidl, supermercati e centri commerciali. Distante solo 10 minuti in macchina dal centro di Catania (per il tipo di viaggio che avevo in mente io è stata una casa perfetta) in più è leggermente rialzata su una collinetta, e nelle calde giornate di agosto abbiamo avuto il piacere di respirare un po' di aria fresca! a 15 minuti dalla casa si trovano anche delle bellissime zone di mare (come "le grotte di Ulisse"). Francesca è molto disponibile e aperta al dialogo! nel complesso un'esperienza positiva!!

Apartmán byl přesně podle popisu, vše čisté a pohodlné. Ložnice je oddělená zavíratelnými dveřmi a má také svůj vstup na terasu. To nám velmi vyhovovalo. Okna směřují na východ, takže je ráno na terase už docela teplo, naopak odpoledne a večer je tam příjemně. Apartmán má venkovní rolety, které plně zastíní ranní východní slunce. V červnu bylo okolí spíše klidné i na pláži, která je z jemných kamínků, bylo vždy jen pár lidí. Restaurace, kavárna nebo zmrzlinárna jsou kousek, akorát obchod je dál, dalo by se asi dojít pěšky, ale lepší je jet autem.

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Without hesitation, I can say this was one of the most amazing stays/experiences I've ever had while traveling. There were eleven of us including children and the villa was absolutely perfect for our week-long holiday in Sicily. First of all, communication with the host was flawless and the hospitality was first class. The keyholder went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, and we received little treats nearly everyday which only added to our satisfaction. If there was an issue, the keyholder made sure it was immediately taken care of without question. Regarding the villa, it is spectacular! You can get lost in it while exploring the hallways and towers -- the kids thought they were living in a real castle. While it's not in pristine condition, the little imperfections add to the homely feel of the place. The infinity pool and pool bar are also highlights of the villa, and they're perfect for lazy afternoons and enjoying the views of Mt. Etna and surrounding countryside.

Nous avons eu un accueil amical et chaleureux avec Pina . La maison est extrêmement propre, spacieuse, confortable. Les espaces extérieurs sont magnifiques. Vues sur la mer d’un côté, l’Etna de l’autre côté. Des fleurs à profusion. Calme et sérénité garantie .Pina a été très accueillante et nous a donné de nombreuses informations. Même si la maison est isolée nous avons eu toutes les indications nécessaires pour y arriver. C’est une maison typique, meublée avec goût et surtout remplie d’attentions pour y être comme chez soi . Nous recommandons vivement cette endroit !!!

Nunzio was incredibly friendly and helpful! The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. The road to get there is a little rough but once you arrive you are greeted by 4 lovely cats and Bianca the dog. Everything went smoothly and Nunzio was always ready to help with whatever was necessary and gave lots of recommendations. Would recommend everyone to travel inwards instead of just staying along the coast and visit this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Antonino’s place. The house was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Taormina and the surrounding area. Antonino was a fantastic host, always helpful and quick to respond. One of the highlights of our trip was the amazing dinner he prepared for us by the pool one evening. It was a truly memorable experience and such a generous gesture. Thank you for everything, Antonino, we hope to come back one day!

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert – die Bilder in der Anzeige entsprechen absolut der Realität. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, großzügig geschnitten und liegt in einer wunderbar ruhigen Gegend – perfekt, um abzuschalten und das echte Sizilien zu genießen. Wir waren mit unserer achtköpfigen Familie dort und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Jeder hatte seine Rückzugsmöglichkeit und trotzdem gab es viele schöne gemeinsame Bereiche – ob auf der Terrasse mit Ausblick, beim Essen im Freien oder im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer. Wichtig zu wissen: Das Haus ist nur mit einem Mietwagen erreichbar und die Auffahrt ist recht steil. Es braucht etwas Übung und ein bisschen Fahrgefühl – erfahrene Autofahrer schaffen das aber gut. Dafür wird man mit absoluter Ruhe und einer tollen Aussicht belohnt. Die Kommunikation mit Alberto war von Anfang bis Ende h
