Vacation rentals with a patio in Nicaragua

Stella Mar is a great value. We stayed in the upstairs apartment. It was spacious and very convenient. The location is also excellent close to restaurants and it’s right on the beach. We would stay here again.

Martin is a superb host. Very responsive, nice, and accommodating of any need - such a nice person that makes you feel like your stay is the most important thing. The place is amazing. It's small and cozy, with good airflow and AC at hot times. There is a great garden with a big tree for shade, comfortable beach chairs, a hammock, and a shower. The water is 20 meters from the door, and it's a short 15-minute walk to Bigginers Bay and Santana and 2-5 minutes from several restaurants and a grocery shop. We came by car with a toddler and enjoyed the time. It is great for surfers who want to surf the area, beginners who want to learn in the beginners' bay, and people who want to stay in front of the water in a relaxing place.

El lugar genera mucha tranquilidad y además estaba súper limpio.

Très beau logement, le terrain était magnifique, beaucoup d'arbres et de fleurs. Un petit paradis en bordure du lagon Apoyo. La route pour s'y rendre est sinueuse, mais belle. Le dernier 500 mètres et très rocailleux et l'emplacement mal Identifié. Mais pour le reste tout est parfait.

Es war fantastisch - eine dieser Unterkünfte, wo man reinkommt und sich sofort angekommen fühlt. Alles war in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer sah neu hergerichtet und fein aus. Liebe zum Detail. Bettwäsche sauber. Klimaanlage top funktioniert. Küche spartanisch aber dafür autark von Elektrizität (kein Strom von 06 - 13 Uhr). Alles akkurat und ehrlich beschrieben. Super Kommunikation. An zwei der drei vollen Tage, die wir auf Corn hatten, gab es vormittags sogar Strom, weil wohl ein Nachbar einen Stromgenerator betrieben hatte. Darüber hinaus alles, was vorhanden sein muss - sogar Kaffee und ein Stück artesanal Seife wurden bereitgestellt - nette Beigabe :) Nebenanmerkung, die nichts mit dem BnB zu tun hat: Supermärkte sind sauteuer. Dafür teilweise die Specials in den Bars sehr preiswert, z. B. Desi Pizza Hawaii für 14 U$D, oder Beer Special in der Dolphin Bar für eine Flasche Bier 2 U$D oder eben Cafe Tranquilo Happy Hour: zwei Cocktails für 5 U$D. Have fun at Corn :)

I stayed at Casa Tapa 5/20 - 5/29. Cute and simple little place. Really liked waking up there and the nice little private balcony. Was very thankful for the mosquito net on the canopy bed and bed was comfortable enough. If this place is available in August when I return for my 3rd trip to Nicaragua, I will stay again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time in SJDS. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful—always going above and beyond any time we had a question or needed anything. The apartment felt very safe and was nicely nestled away from the busy streets, yet the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, stores, and anything else you might need. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need (and more), the bed was super comfy, and the AC made for a great night’s sleep. Would highly recommend!

La casa es perfecta para alejarte un poco de la ciudad y conectarte con la naturaleza y principalmente con la paz que transmite el mar. Una residencia muy privada y a la vez segura. Nuestras expectativas fueron totalmente superadas! La casa está muy completa y eso facilita aún más la estadía.

Lacie was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. She is a wonderful host and communicated great! She is available for any questions and the area is just beautiful and the all the people are very very friendly. Her place is gorgeous and better than you’ll expect. One of my most favorite places I’ve ever stayed. 10/10!!

I booked this place for 2 nights for my wife and family (8 guests) We had a great time , it rained the first day but there is space on the property to relax and stay dry. Helpful and friendly staff and a really nice Place to stay with guests. Would recommend.

This house has the most breathtaking views and beach access, it looked just like the photos. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway! Also, Evert, the house guard, was incredibly nice and helpful!

We stayed at this beautiful and cozy home in Las Salinas for 3 days. Three adults and a 3 year old toddler. The home is tastefully decorated with modern and rustic design with touches of native elements. Loved the local blue tile and local wood furniture. Comfy beds, linens & blankets. The A/C & water pressure was great. Filtered drinking water & basic cooking utensils are provided. Plenty of games to play with family or friends. A groundskeeper and or security guard is always on site and the property is gated. The home is close to the main paved road but there is a short drive on a dirt road. SUV recommended and 4x4 during rainy season. Zivile was great with communication prior to and during our stay. She made it a point to greet & welcome us to the home. The home was spacious and very well maintained. Overall great!

Nos encantó el servicio, personal amable y todo muy limpio, la casa equipada con todo y súper cómoda.

Although we didn’t stay at Martha’s due to an unfortunate change of plans not allowing us to cross into Nicaragua from Costa Rica - she was very accommodating and understood that we may need to rebook. She was quick to reply and very kind - I will stay here once we make it into Nicaragua.

Really lovely place to stay. Located in a beautiful spot and the apartment was exactly as described. All really clean and comfortable. A very short walk to the beach where there is a nice bar and restaurant. There is also a little pool just outside the apartment block which was really handy for little ones. Roberta was very helpful and quick to answer any question. We’d definitely stay here again!

Paul’s place was so lovely & spacious for us, we absolutely loved the open kitchen/lounge and balcony views. Everything very clean! Beds were SO comfortable, we had great nights sleeping there. The pool was also lovely & we were the only ones using it. It’s about 10-15 mins walk to town and easy to get cheap taxi’s back. Theres a small shop nearby for essentials. The only tiny downside was the WiFi was quite intermittent at times with all 4 of us using it, but this is to be expected in Nicaragua & we weren’t that bothered! Lovely stay and would love to stay again in the future!

Me encantó mi estancia en Kodu Apartments. El lugar es limpio, moderno, bien equipado, y las instalaciones como la piscina y el gimnasio están en excelente estado. La ubicación es conveniente y segura, con fácil acceso a todo. Además, las instalaciones están en perfecto estado. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme aquí.

Maria Andrea es muy amable. Siempre a la orden para cualquier pregunta además que fue muy flexible con nosotros con respecto al check in y check out. Éramos 4 personas. El apartamento se encuentra en un edificio, complejo de apartamentos con vista al mar y al Cristo de San Juan del Sur. Hubo una restricción de 20kwh por día, la cual me pareció una buena iniciativa de ahorrar energía pensando el tema ecológico. Nosotros no usamos los aires acondicionados por decisión propia lo que nos mantuvo muy por debajo del límite y no tuvimos que pagar nada al final. con mucho gusto volvería al apartamento de María Andrea!

Primero me gustaría mencionar que Juan Pablo y Uri fueron geniales de inicio a fin, hubo un pequeño percance al inicio de la estadía pero lo resolvieron sumamente rápido, con excelente actitud y nos retribuyeron con creces el pequeño inconveniente. Estamos especialmente agradecidos con Uri por su rápida y excelente atención. Les deseamos el mejor de los éxitos para el 2025 en el cual seguramente regresaremos! Les recomiendo muchísimo hospedarse acá!

El alojamiento estaba en perfectas condiciones, muy cómodo, a solo pasos de la playa, los propietarios son muy amables y responden muy rápido cualquier duda. Para tomar en cuenta en el futuro, en el complejo hay 1 sola piscina para los 3 apartamentos, los propietarios viven ahí mismo, y aunque un automóvil puede ingresar por la calle, sí es mejor llegar con carro alto. Por lo demás, la estadía estuvo muy placentera.

I recently stayed at Mike’s place within the Iguana property and had a great experience. The location is excellent, situated right next to the entrance gate. Mike was super helpful and always available to assist. Although the description doesn’t specify, the bed is a queen size, which is slightly larger than it appears in the photos (a double bed) a pleasant surprise! The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away, or just a 3-minute drive. Since we had visited before, we were aware of this detail. Initially, we were concerned about potential noise due to the proximity to a brewery and restaurants, but it was quiet, and we slept well. We’ll definitely plan to go back!
