Vacation rentals with a sauna in Murau

Our stay at Katharina’s place was nothing short of wonderful. We were looking for a peaceful get away and not only found it, but enjoyed the beautiful setting and comfortable stay. Katharina and her family were warm and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. We cannot wait to come back again!

Great big apartment with all the comforts. New and modern in very tasteful style. Well-equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, large terrace and a nice sauna that is shared (booked) with the other apartments. Very good location with about 500 meters to the Planai West cabin lift. All ski equipment could be in storage locker by the lift. Got a lot of tips from Werner before arrival and Werner is a very nice host with good service. The apartment fits well with the nice pictures. An amazing place to stay! We recommend this apartment and will be happy to come again.

It was a very nice room with many services included. the location is great for those who want to hike or use via ferrata.

An immaculate airbnb in a charming Austrian town. The view from the living room is STUNNING. The unit is modern, comfortable, and well maintained. My friend and I do not typically share a bathroom but this unit provided ample privacy and flexibility by offering a shower/sink room in addition to a toilet/sink room, both of which are nicely separated from the bedrooms. Be sure to bring a laundry pod if you intend to do laundry but otherwise, we had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Would not hesitate to return.

Great clean apartment near Hallstatt. The apartment was very well and modernly equipped. We especially liked the kitchen equipment and the bathroom.

Fabulous apartment, very homely and very well equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of space. We loved the sauna for easing aching muscles at the end of the day! Easy walk to directly access the ski run and a short walk to restaurants/ amenities.

A comfortable, peaceful and spacious 1 bed flat with lounge-dining room and separate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Awesome views of the mountains. Very convenient for Dachstein West ski area as the ski bus comes to the hotel building which the apartment is in. We loved being able to relax in the hotel saunas too. Gosau is pretty easy to get to by public transport. The journey from Salzburg airport was straightforward and daytrips to nearby beautiful Hallstatt and historic Bad Ischl were worthwhile. Would love to stay in this flat again!

When we arrived at the place, we were impressed by the beautiful surrounding landscape. The check-in process is well described and was conquered on the first try. The apartment breathed a piece of home on us and was a great starting point for all-day hiking trips. The apartment has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and tops of the Alps, the sunrise here is captivating. We didn't want to leave. Thank you 😉👍

Michael is a super responsive and helpful host, the accommodation fully reflected the description and the lake view was superb, I think we'll be back. Also for those who love skiing it is very close to the cable car and a 5-minute walk there is a skating rink and a nature reserve for those who love bird watching with beautiful specimens. The only suggestion I would like to give to Michael is about the bedroom doors that are made of transparent glass and are not the best for privacy, maybe a nice shutter could help. Looking for a rustic alpine hut, arrived in cold and fog, but then compensated with a breathtaking panorama! A beautiful cottage that invites you from the first moment, super well equipped, a warming stove for cold days, places to linger and dream. Great hikes along the lakes or to the peaks. A dream, a place to return!

We had a very nice vacation. Close to skiing, perfect view and a benefit of sauna...

Lovely, quiet chalet in a tranquil environment, set among beautiful countryside with views to match. Lots of different walks and hikes nearby and local villages within 15 mins drive, should you require them. They also provide breakfast and a home cooked meal service for the times you don't want to prepare anything. The chalet has a very nice sauna and huge ensuite bathrooms in the main bedrooms. Katharina and Andreas are the nicest, most helpful hosts you'll ever meet! I feel so relaxed after the stay. Would definitely stay again and I imagine this would be brilliant in the winter, too!

The accommodation is really fantastically beautiful, especially the view of the mountains and forests was simply magical through the huge window front in the living area. The bathroom cabins integrated in the rooms were also super practical for eight people, so that everyone had their own shower, sink and toilet. Also, that dogs are allowed, made us very happy – so we could take our four-legged friend with us without any problems. Beautiful hikes in nature start directly from the front door, so you hardly need the car except for shopping. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can simply stay indoors: the cozy atmosphere, the sauna, and the hot tub (without bubbles) ensure perfect relaxation after a long day outside. Overall a completely successful stay – we would come back any time!

The surroundings of Chalet Jochwand are truly breathtaking—perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature. The property offers a high level of privacy, making it an ideal retreat. One of the highlights was being able to have dinner on the balcony, surrounded by serene forest views. The landlord personally welcomed us and even brought us fresh farm eggs, which was a delightful touch. The amenities, including an outdoor shower and a newly added sauna, enhanced our experience significantly.
