Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

At 50m from the wonderful lakeside promenade that takes to Villa Olmo, we have setup a double room, in a building that was a 600's monastery. The room overlooks the internal courtyard with a small balcony, away from the noise of the main street. The historical city city can be reached by feet, in a few mins, via the cycle / pedestrian path facing the lake. Nearby you will find delightful clubs, bars and restaurants and good parking possibilities Como main station is just a few minutes' walk away

Qua tutti noi abbiamo imparato a nuotare, praticato vari sport acquatici, fatte molte escursioni per poi ritrovarci, la sera tutti insieme sul molo a pescare. Nel 1925 Hitchcock ha girato qui The Pleasure Garden. L'appartamento è di circa 50 mq con camera da letto, bagno e living. This place is fantastic! Being right on Lake Como is magical. We slept with the doors open and enjoyed the sound of the birds chirping and the waves lapping on the boats all night. The home is an interesting blend of modern and antique which we enjoyed. We had two kiddos with us and they loved having their own rooms & bathrooms. I highly recommend booking lunch at Hotel Passalacqua as it is only a 7 minute walk away and INSANELY FABULOUS! We had a great (and way more affordable LOL) dinner at the Veranda at Hotel Posta. There are apparently nice hikes around the town but I didn't figure that out till just before we left. We did a private boat tour of the lake and our boat driver picked us up at the house which worked very well. My only tips for future renters is to have a small car because parking is tight (we did fine with a small SUV) and bring your own shampoo and soap because what they provide is very minimal. You will enjoy this Airbnb!

We loved this penthouse overlooking the lake. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The architecture is modern and very well used, and its location is very convenient and practical, close to everything you need. Ekaterina is a great host. Super friendly and accommodating. The apartment is excellent, although it is outside of Como, but in a few minutes by car you can reach the center of Como. We will definitely book with her again!

House is as, if not more, beautiful than the photos portray. It’s fantastically spacious and has all the amenities you could need for a few days or a few weeks. What made this place particularly special was how great the “Rent All Como” team was. They met us and helped with bags on arrival and met us to say good bye. One of the things I tend to miss with Airbnb vs a hotel is the concierge’s assistance with transport and restaurant bookings. The Rent All Como team however is as good or better than most 5* hotel concierge teams. Nothing is too much trouble and they are super responsive.

Chillingquito is a lovely place. We slept 2 nights. It is in a kind of courtyard. That makes it cozy. It's all neat inside & looks good. It is a short 15-minute drive to Como & 5 minutes from Cernobbio. There is little within walking distance. But not far by car, fortunately. If there is something, you can easily reach Davide. He also has tips on what to do nearby. Recommend!

Even better than the photos! Amazing rental in a great location. The views cannot be beat. The hosts met us there and helped us get into the place. They were to ensure we had everything we needed. Vicky helped with recommendations and reservations for us too. Can’t wait to visit again!

A great host, a beautiful rustico in a wonderful location. We were in transit with two children, we all would have liked to have stayed longer. Florent responded quickly to all requests, e.g. for a possibly earlier check-in. The amenities are generous and the furnishings cozy. In addition, it is very quiet and you can relax superbly. We will be happy to come back!
