Close to nature and relaxing – right next to the Eifel National Park. The tiny house is located above Lake Roer. Hiking trails are right in front of the house. Walks in the snow and the cozy warmth in the cottage provide relaxation & coziness. In summer, the lake with beach invites you to swim & do water sports. There is no direct lake view (trees in front), but the wonderful viewpoint 'Zur Schönen Aussicht' can be reached in two minutes (100 m), where you can watch the stars undisturbed at night.

In this apartment with its own entrance you can feel completely comfortable. All floors are made of natural wood, the walls of clay brick, the room atmosphere very pleasant. On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. After a short walk to get fresh rolls by the lake and eggs from the neighbor with free-range hens, we always have fresh coffee and considerations for the next exploration tour. In the evening, good restaurants within walking distance offer a great end to the day.

Enjoy your little break in a lovingly furnished apartment in Gemünd! Located directly at the national park gate, beautiful hikes (e.g. Eifelsteig, Wildnistrail) or enjoyable bike tours can be enjoyed from here. In summer, the nearby outdoor swimming pool offers the necessary refreshment. For everyday needs, there are various shopping facilities, all within walking distance. The following are very popular: Rursee, Vogelsang IP or the guided star hike.

Apartment in renovated farmhouse

In 2020/21, we completely renovated my grandparents' old farmhouse with a lot of passion and attention to detail and converted the lower floor into a large vacation home. In our old quarry stone house in Monschau-Höfen, up to four nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts or recreational vacationers will now find their place to feel good. Parking is available right outside the front door in the large courtyard.
