The CONFORZI LAKE HOUSE & CONFORZI BEACH HOUSE are self-catering lake-shore houses on an amazing property on one of the largest beaches on lake malawi. Gateway Cottages are clean, safe, affordable, basic and environmental friendly accommodation situated on the Gateway Transformation Campus, Chirombo village, Monkey Bay, Malawi. Follow the M10 from Mangochi to Cape MacClear, and turn right at the turn-off the Cape MacClear at the Engergen Filling station on your left. Turn right on the gravel road into the village towards the Lake. Find our sign board 2 km from the turn off on the left, Gateway Transformation Center/Guesthouse.

Had a great stay at the cottage with my family. Very clean and beautiful place, we enjoyed the privacy, and peacefulness. Ian was very prompt to responding. Edward and Robert helped with cooking which made our stay even more relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Two single beds are positioned under sheer white mosquito nets, creating a tranquil sleeping area. Crisp white linens complement the striped bed covers. A fan is visible nearby, enhancing the comfort of the space, which is softly lit by ambient lighting.

Joe’s was AMAZING! So much better than I thought it would be. The location is right in town and a block from the lake/beach. Saw beautiful sunsets and lots of baobab trees. The people in the village are lovely...especially the children who are eager to speak English to foreigners. I fell in love with the location and the people.

We had a wonderful stay as we came up from the weekend during our medical rotation. The place was beautiful and was a relaxing getaway. The staff was very welcoming and ensured that our stay was as comfortable it could be. Definitely recommend!

the cabana is really nice! we enjoyed our stay very much - the road to MacClear is very new (majority of the way super easy!). the lake is great, the view from the porch is phenomenal! local veggies and cold drinks can be bought in vicinity to the house. Hopefully we can come back!

Its a nice place, i had an awesome time at Nkudzi Lodge. My wife actually bought fishes from the locals and the staff in the kitchen helped prepare it, i was really pleased with the service and i will sure visit sometime soon. I sure will recommend it to everyone who need a cool place to relax.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and we had friendly staff who helped with cooking and cleaning. Katherine continually checked if everything was okay which made us feel right at home. The environment is very serene and beautiful. It’s like a little heaven as it provides a mixture of a magical forest and the beautiful lake down the escarpment. The gardens are well taken care of and for nature lovers, this is a place to be.
