Lovers of contemporary art and digital art paintings, get ready to be won over. A true haven of peace and serenity, this apartment subtly blends old-world charm with modern comfort. Our apartment is warm and personalized with a direct view of the castle from the living room. Our decoration is inspired by our many trips and experiences in the major French and International design shows. We also love contemporary art and digital art, so you can enjoy several original works by Parisian artists that we particularly appreciate (J. Stark, ADO...). We can advise you on the sites you won't want to miss, as well as some very good restaurant addresses... in Pau and the surrounding area. You can park in the parking lot of Place de Verdun (150 m from the apartment): €1/half day from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is free outside these hours and on Sundays. The entire apartment is at your disposal. I'm not always in Pau, but my parents will be happy to welcome you and guide you throughout your stay if needed. This home is in a great location, close to the Château de Henri IV and the iconic sites of Pau with its listed buildings. A small farmers' market is held at the foot of the building every Sunday morning. At the foot of the building you will find a bike rental system and free bus stop to travel throughout the city center. You have Pau train station within a 10-minute walk. By car, you can park at the bottom of the building (15 min offered/day), which allows you to unload your suitcases or groceries quietly. Note that this street is blocked every Sunday from 6 am to 2 pm by a local market. Parking on this street is not allowed during this time. 150 m from the apartment is the large Place de Verdun parking lot with 1300 spaces: €1/half-day Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 6pm. It is free outside these hours and on Sundays. Basic products are provided for cooking (condiments, oil, vinegar...) as well as other products for breakfast (coffee, tea, sugar...). Wi-Fi is available. Bed linen, sheets are provided as well as towels. You will also have laundry detergent for the washing machine, which also dries clothes. Bedding information, if there are 2 of you and you want to use the sofa bed, an extra 7.5 euro per night will be paid directly upon arrival. Please let us know so we can prepare this extra bed. In order to facilitate your arrival or to introduce you to some products of our region we offer, as a paid option, to provide you with breakfast on arrival, a regional gift box, or a prestige box. Please let us know if you'd like to take advantage of this option. A descriptive document will be sent to you if you wish. PLEASE NOTE: A tourist tax will be added to the price of your stay at this property, collected by the host on behalf of the Pau Béarn Pyrénées Agglomeration Community and the Pyrénées-Atlantiques Departmental Council. Our stay with Régis was lovely. We were down there to deal with a very stressful situation and his warm welcome as well as his checking in on us and answering any questions promptly really made our time there lovely. Our son loved seeing the ducks and geese walking around the property. And when we needed help with something late at night Régis got back to us straight away. Definitely would recommend staying there and we will definitely be back!!

This apartment was absolutely fantastic. Its location is very central with cheap parking if needed. Inside the apartment is beautifully decorated and feels very homely, despite the central location there is very little noise in the evening and I had no problem sleeping. The balcony is really excellent. Lovely outside furniture, south facing so gets the sun though shade available too, and a view of the pyrenees mountains!! Christelle couldn't have been more welcoming, very friendly and warm with brilliant suggestions of where to eat and where to walk in the pyrenees. I really loved this place and had a great stay!

Thanks to Jean Marc, the owner of the grocery store, who reopened his grocery store so that late hikers could stock up for the evening and the next morning. Thank you to Yves who came to enhance our breakfast with a Blueberry jam and who played the bread delivery man.

I used Laruns as a base for cycling. The scenery and landscape is breathtaking. I only wish I had time to explore further. Sandrine and Regis were very friendly and easily approachable and I enjoyed practising my french conversation. I think I might stick in their minds as the Australian who could not work out how to use the shower. Sandrine even sent me a video of instructions after my level of french became exhausted (i now can add "pencher" to my vocabulary). Sandrine recommended the most excellent boulangerie which is why I did not lose any weight. Sandrine's appartment is in a very quiet part of town and is an easy downhill stroll to the centre with its shops, cafes, restaurants and bars I can thoroughly recommend visiting the tourist office where the staff are very helpful I can recommend Sandrines appartment and the commune of Laruns and doing some research to make full use of the area. I have several outings to complete when I return.

Beautiful home, very comfortable, spacious and warm. Extremely well-equipped, the hosts thought of everything. Impeccable cleanliness, quality bedding, linens available. The Nordic bath is very nice. The kids loved staying in the top room which is really too cute! There is a trampoline, badminton net, ping pong table and even several children's bikes available. Everything is perfect for a great stay. In addition, the hosts are very kind, very welcoming and offer good advice. We highly recommend this cottage!
