Sehr gute Unterkunft und genau so beschrieben wie sie wirklich ist. Die Katze war auch kein Problem, denn die war sehr freundlich. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war jederzeit schnell und hilfreich. Würde wieder kommen!

Vi havde en rigtig dejlig aften i huset. Det ligger utroligt smukt med udsigt ud over marker og bakker. Bålhytten var et hit om aftenen.

Worth it for the stunning view. As others have said its like staying in your grandparents house but that is part of its charm. The drive is steep but not that bad. Per responded well to enquiries.

Kjetil’s was an absolutely wonderful host. He really did go above and beyond when it come to ensuring we had all we had for our stay. Local recommendations a plenty, we hiked the kings view, experienced the local Glassworks factory (way more there than you think!) and spend a lovely morning on the island across the bridge where we swam and bathed in a beautiful secluded spot followed by lunch at the golf course. The home itself is spacious and the views are incredible. The pool is heated and the morning and evening calm on the rooftop patio were wonderful. Our kids played for hours and you really do have to pinch yourself at the views. As with the previous review, perhaps a little storage space for unpacking would be nice, but it didn’t bother us too much. The locals are so kind, genuine and just have a calming presence about them and we (4 adults and 6 kids) all had the most wonderful time. Thank you Kjetil!

Veldig hyggelig hjem og perfekt for småbarnsfamilie. Ikke langt unna de større byene, men et landlig og rolig område med trivelige naboer. Vi hadde en veldig fin ferie og bodde komfortabelt med en på nesten to og en på snart tre år og tre voksne. Liv svarte også alltid raskt og var veldig fleksibel og vennlig.

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

Kjempekoslig leilighet, i nærhet til Drammenselva og Hokksund camping hvor vi hadde familie som overnattet. Alt var slik annonsen beskrev, verten svarte raskt, og vi fikk komme tidligere enn innsjekkstidspunkt. Fleksibel og hyggelig vert ☺️

Klasse sehr saubere und toll eingerichtete Unterkunft. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind in ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in Oslo. Ich kann diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Comfortable, netjes en compleet ingericht appartement.

The apartment is super central and really comfortable. It is also extremely spacious with a lot of light and great views. Kitchen had everything you could want and location can’t be beat.

This is a great house to stay in if you're looking for a quiet getaway. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and can easily fit 3 couples comfortably. The porch has a stunning view of the lake. Torstein was a great host and very responsive to our questions.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

Camilla & Snorre sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Das Haus war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral/mit toller Anbindung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Blick auf Oslo. Wir haben ums rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Wir hatten nach einer freundlichen Begrüßung durch den Gastgeber mit Empfehlungen für Ausflüge wunderbare und abwechslungsreiche Tage in Norwegen. Fußläufig zehn Minuten entfernt gibt es in der Nähe einen kleinen See, der zum Erholen und Baden einlädt. Auch schöne Strände am Fjord sind nicht weit weg. Oslo ist in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto oder der Bahn (haben wir nicht probiert) erreichbar - dort haben wir unter anderem mit Begeisterung das Technikmuseum, das Fram Museum und das Norwegische Volksmuseum besucht und die Aussicht und die Zipline von der Holmenkollen Schanze genossen. Auch weitere Ausflüge zum Gaustatoppen und nach Schweden waren sehr spannend. An ruhigeren Tagen hatten die Kinder (8, 10 und 12) viel Spaß mit den bei Jostein vorhandenen Spielsachen, die wir nutzen durften. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

Staying at this place was an absolutely magical experience—truly a hidden gem in this world. My family and I were fortunate enough to spend a week here, and it felt like stepping into a dream. The breathtaking views of the sea, surrounded by mountains and lush nature, created a sense of serenity and wonder we will never forget. It’s the kind of place that takes your breath away every time you look out the window—a sanctuary of beauty and peace. The house itself is stunning, thoughtfully designed with every detail blending style and comfort seamlessly. What made the experience even more special was the warmth and attentiveness of the owner, who was always quick to respond and made us feel so welcomed and safe throughout our stay. This is truly the perfect place for a family holiday or anyone seeking a slice of paradise. We feel incredibly blessed to have created lasting memories here and cannot recommend this place enough.
