We had a wonderful stay here with my friends! The place was well-equipped with complete kitchen utensils and plenty of tables and chairs, making it easy for us to cook and dine together. The bathroom was clean with a strong and reliable water supply. Both the host and the caretaker were very responsive and accommodating, quickly addressing any questions or requests we had. Overall, a great experience — would happily stay here again!

房子如实描述，房东人很好帮我们订船和订车，感谢房东在需要的时候借米和油给我们。我们一连住了五天，整体感觉不错。只有刚去办入住的时候，我前一天已经和房东约好下午两点入住，但是去到我们的房间居然给一家佛山去的同胞住了，同胞告诉我说房东把房子超卖了，他们订了另一间房，但是那间房被人住了，所以住进了我订的房。我一开始当然相信同胞，但是同胞告诉我他们不想搬了，让我去住他们订的房，他们订的是一张大床一张双层床的房，而我一家六口有老有小不可能住得下，所以我坚持要住我自己订的房，而住了我房的同胞居然告诉我，他们占着的房也只有两张床，我当时就惊讶了，我订的明明是一张双人床和另一间房有两套双层床的房，我马上和房东确认，房东告诉我房间确实如房源介绍，我开始怀疑同胞说谎了，然后我等了一个多小时同胞被房东坚持搬离了，我们才得以入住，进去一看果然如房源介绍有一张双人床和两套双层床，我一家六口可轻松住下。我想说出了国，外国人没骗我，居然差点上了同胞的当。也是让我好一番感慨！

Buenavista Lodge is the perfect place to stay when visiting Culion. Its central location in the heart of the town makes everything easily accessible, and the breathtaking ocean view is a definite highlight. The owner Rachel and caretakers (Butch and Edlyn) go above and beyond to ensure guests’ needs are met, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt auch wenn es ein schwerer weg ist hin zu kommen würde ich sofort dorthin zurück!! Ich kann es jeden empfehlen der eine ruhige zeit an einem unglaublichen wunderschönen Ort genießen will! 🌞😊

A beautiful beachfront resort, declious variety of food, we enjoyed free coconut juice from the trees, one of the local workers took us for a walk kindly and showed us around, room was suitable for 3 person stay. Shower room can be improved to provide running hot water as there was a electric shower but not working, also shower pressure was low so little flow of water.

My family and our pets enjoyed the place. It has a beach homey vibe. Will definitely recommend. Considering this place as one of Calatagan's hidden gem.

Hosts tito benjie and tita were very kind and thoughtful. Stay is extraordinary due to their wisdom and place's "nature experience". Place has no signal but a good oppurtunity to disconnect and refresh you mind. Highly reccommend to try their accupressure service. 🙌🏼

The hospitality was amazing, our hostess was great and thoughtful! The location is like a paradise...you have your own (private) beach! I recommend to anyone to visit this place!

It was a very peaceful and homy place for me. Aside from the room itself, you’ll have a hut for yourself where you can enjoy your food while in front of the beach. The location itself is kind of far from the popular resorts (I would say) which is good cuz you’ll only hear the sound of the waves and it’s priceless! The main highlight of our stay is really the caretakers. They were so proactive and they actually cooked for us which is very helpful! It wasn’t a secret that there can be power outage on the location but as per the owner, it happens occasionally. I would definitely go back here for some peace of mind.

Value for money! The place was clean and new. We're surprised that the rooms are big and spacious. The pool is a good size with bonfire and dining area conveniently placed nearby. The host is approachable and answers all our queries promptly. We enjoyed our stay so much that it'll be a core memory for our group for the coming years. Thank you also for the caretakers that cleaned after us. We also apologize for being loud and not keeping our volumes on check during quiet hours. Hope we can stay here again soon.

The reason for our stay is because of work, but with the beautiful place and nice beach, we really wanna go back and stay for a little longer. Shiela is the best host, always responded and has lots of recommendation. We're excited for the swimming pool to be finished.

This place exceeded my expectations. It is located right next to the beach, which was a top priority for me. There are three separate rooms, and my family loved it here. Additionally, there is a restaurant nearby that offers delicious food at reasonable prices. The caretaker, Ate Nova, was very kind and accommodating. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this place.

Before arrival, the house had messaged us letting them know that the room was being cleaned and would let us know when we can check in. upon arrival at McDonald’s, we walked towards the beach and we were then greeted by a staff member who then helped us walk to our Airbnb which was about five minutes walk. The place is very small cozy the surrounding of locals gave us a sense of closure and safety. The place is also a beachfront with a fantastic view. has a modern TV Aircon and a fan has a nice size bed and bathroom, however be aware that the bathroom water is not close to being clean so just be carefull. The house was amazing very responsive. Any issues with the TV was fixed. Any questions we had was answered. when my partner I requested if we could leave our bags in the Airbnb as our departure would be the night of checkout which would be at 9 pm still, they let us stay in the Airbnb until our departure time which was such a nice gesture. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great stay! Ms. Ethel is a wonderful host—very responsive and quick to act on any concerns we raised. Kuya Ed, the caretaker, was also very attentive—he even walked us to the beach. The place is clean, spacious, and peaceful (I even went for a morning run!). I’m not sure if the pool has a heater, but the water is always warm, which made our swims extra enjoyable. The beach is about 400m away—an easy walk. You can rent cottages at Tamarind Cove for ₱1,000 + ₱200/pax. They also have an infinity pool for ₱300/pax and offer fun water activities: • Flying Fish: ₱3,000 (15 mins, 6 pax) • Banana Boat: ₱3,500 (15 mins, 10 pax) • Speed Boat: ₱8,000 (1 hr, 6 pax) • Hurricane: ₱4,000 (15 mins, 10 pax) • Jet Ski: ₱6,000/hr (we paid ₱3,500 for 30 mins) Heads-up: Rain on the metal roof can get really loud—it woke us up (light sleepers). The showers don’t have a water heater, which can be tricky with a toddler. Still, a relaxing stay with kind hosts!

Prachtig appartement in een rustige omgeving. Niet echt op loopafstand van het centrum maar genoeg taxi’s in de omgeving om je in no-time naar het centrum te brengen. Appartement is van alle wensen voorzien, zou het iedereen aanraden. Communicatie met Leslie is ook top, reageert ontzettend snel!

The place is around 45 minutes away from Puerto Galera and approximately same distance from Calapan. The food is great! It would be an advantage to order meals there to avoid inconvenience in looking for a place to eat. It is conveniently located along the highway and the family and staff are very accommodating. The place is so cozy, it really feels like home. The room is very clean and well-maintained. It is worth going back to :)

We had to be moved quickly from a place that wasn’t clean and Joannes place was just around the corner. Although she was unresponsive due to being out of the country her parents were available to help us and get settled in. The place had recently been refurbished and all 3 bathrooms were brand new. New tiles and suits. The showers were amazing. Road noise was an issue as it’s close to a main road, however don’t let this put you off. Earplugs made it easy to sleep and the noise was mainly during the day when we were mostly out. The rear bedroom was noise free. The house was well equipped but Wi-Fi wasn’t great this bothered our kids but no us as we were there to relax and see family. The only other feedback would been response time. If your not able to respond the have an alternative persons number available We loved our time here and wish Joanne all the best with her business. We would definitely use this place again.

The place has a beautiful beach front. Has good wifi we were able to work from here. Great service and staff. They have their own pets so our dog made some new friends too. ✨💯

Great location and pet friendly! My family stayed for 3d 2n and we felt right at home. Kitchen is complete with all our needs to cook and store food. Christine was also very responsive and very accommodating! We were initially booked at a smaller villa but upon knowing our final headcount, she offered a bigger villa with no extra charge!
