On the lower floor of the cottage there is a toilet, bathroom, dining room with living room and fireplace with access to the terrace with a beautiful view of the dam. In the attic there is a room and a bedroom with a balcony. In the immediate vicinity there is Orlík Castle, Zvíkov Castle and Žďákovský Bridge.

Farm in the middle of a wild garden

Our cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ostrý, which is surrounded by vast pastures and forests of the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. There used to be a farm here, of which only the stables and the swallows nesting in them remain today. Around the cottage is a large natural garden, which we use partly as a utility and partly as an ornamental garden. On one side, the garden ends with a pond, a road and a neighboring house, on the other sides it passes into an open landscape. There is a cat in the garden and in the house and a hen in the yard.

The village is located on the river Lužnica (possibility of fishing), and there are the ruins of a castle and a Gothic church, near the town of Bechyně.
