Vacation rentals with beach access in Mezzegra

Lovely apartment by the lake. We got up everyday with beautiful view of lake como by the window. Very calmed, not far from Villa del balbianello 6 minutes by car.

Superb accommodation, well-equipped, with direct view of the lake from the terrace, very welcoming hosts, and good tips (in French), we enjoyed the accompaniment to the private parking space. Excellent, we recommend it!

My husband and i stayed here on our honeymoon and it was our favourite place. The hosts were so incredibly warm and welcoming. From communicating before we arrived about the strikes and train issues to helping us book our transportation home and having the most lovely gift and hand painted welcome card for our honeymoon upon our arrival it was all heavenly. They are the kindest humans. The views from the apartment are stunning and the private location is a quick walk away from town - it’s nice not to be in tourist central! There are also private beaches for lake access and the best restaurant across the street. It was all a dream and we will definitely be back!!

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

Roberta’s home is AMAZING! It’s spacious, in a great location, and has the best view especially for sunset. We loved being right at the edge of city center and a quieter space to relax while being no more than 10 min walk to the furthest restaurant. Don’t forget to look at Roberta’s beautiful paintings around the house and stop at her shop down the road! We’ll certainly stay here again.

An absolute dream! Unbelievable views and a very quiet, relaxing atmosphere, everything was as described and our host was forthcoming and attentive to every detail.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It was all there as described. Colonno is a quiet village compared to the lake hotspots. Since the street is very narrow in the village, you can hear the traffic, which, however, decreases significantly at night. The air conditioning in the rooms was great. We were able to make beautiful trips by boat, by bus and, on Maria's advice, by the night shuttle, which collected people for free in the evening. Great week with amazing weather and nice people.

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

Thank Serenella for hosting us. The apartment was pristine, view was beautiful, basket was full of complimentary items. Anyone that needs some time to collect themselves and be away from civilizition and think things through, this is the spot! Thanks again .

Really great place and excellent setting. Friendly and always available host. Private fenced yard with sun loungers and shade, beach across the road 20 meters. (Note: Stony beach, swimming shoes recommended). Parking space in the yard. There are a few restaurants nearby and a few in the city center, about 600 m. There's also a harbor. By boat to Bellagio or Lecco. However, be prepared as if you were going to a cottage, as there is no grocery store in Onno, the nearest one is 10 km away. A car is necessary. An ideal place for those who value peace and privacy.

First time visiting Veranna. Great location; 5 minute walk to train station and less than 5 minutes to ferry. House was well stocked and cozy. Lovely garden. Perfect for family of five.

It was a wonderful vacation at Il Terrazzino. We really enjoyed our time at the lake and in the house.

The stay was great. From the accommodation, the view of the lake is fantastic and the pool location is very neat.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was within easy walking distance of the train and ferry stations and the old town center. The view from the patio and living room was lovely. One day was rainy, but the covered parts of the patio and open doors from the living room made for relaxing lake and mountain views, even in the rain. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was handy for cooking a couple dinners, and the washing machine was small but convenient for a couple quick loads. Communication and check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended.

The view is adorable. The location is the best. Car park is crucial to enjoy your stay and it was available upon request for free.

Awesome spot! Stayed here for one night for our honeymoon trip. Great view, easy access to great restaurants, beautiful area to walk around, and super friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

All I can say is book this Airbnb you’ll feel like royalty. The location, the gardens the whole Villa was a dream. So beautiful and the host went above and beyond to make it special for us. I will 100% come back to this Airbnb

Bright, beautiful, clean, updated apartment with a great view of Lake Como. Very convenient to a grocery, bakery, gelateria and restaurant. A Friday morning pop-up fruit stand was wonderful! Maddalena was very friendly and considerate and she responded to my questions/needs immediately. I highly recommend this Airbnb and will definitely book again if/when I visit Lake Como in the future. Great place to stay in Varenna! Beautiful apartment with great recommendations and booklets left in the apartment. Locality wise it was perfect with being right beside the train station and walking distance of the ferry. Very nice local restaurants. We had a great stay. 5 stars from us :)

We spent a week in Rosa's fantastically beautiful apartment and enjoyed the time very much. The apartment with the great view is beautifully located. We couldn't get enough of the magnificent view of Lake Como. Communication with Rosa was great. On the day of arrival, she waited for us and showed us the way to the apartment. We also got a lot of tips from her and we liked to try one or the other restaurant. Thank you Rosa

Incredible views made it nice to stay and enjoy the Airbnb esp on rainy days. We were traveling with our 8 month old and loved the nice comfy crib and Anita even left out a baby towel and high chair for us. It was really a perfect spot to enjoy views from the lake. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware which made it great for some homemade dinner dates too. Would love to stay here again.
