Mansion vacation rentals in Mediterranean Sea

From the moment we arrived Luigi and his family were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. On our first evening we were given 2 enormous freshly baked pizzas. Most welcome after a long day travelling here. As a party of five adults we stayed for two weeks and glad we did. The views from the Terrace were amazing, with spectacular sunsets. From the large deck and pool areas you can quietly relax and enjoy views of the sea or mountains. At meal times the fabulous gas Webber BBQ was greatly appreciated. Inside the rooms, there were some charming, decorative features which added to the ambience of the property. A large open kitchen/lounge area provides a lovely social space. From the property was a fabulous walk with amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Versuvius. The small village nearby is very friendly but as mentioned in other reviews a small car is essential which our hosts also helped us to arranged.

My husband is in a wheelchair and Maria went out of her way to rent a wheelchair for our stay. The villa looked better in person than in the pictures. Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked, including a juicer for fresh orange juice.

Olesia’s property was STUNNING - the photos don’t do it justice!! So spacious and well equipped, just a wonderful experience. It’s a 45 min walk in to Cefalu and pretty steep back but we had a hire car so no issues, just something to bear in mind. We had my 1 year old son with us and it’s not the most child friendly property (located on a steep hill, which is great for views but not for toddlers!!) but we absolutely loved our stay and I would definitely recommend.

Villa Lina was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean, had new and comfortable bedding, had plenty of space for our family, and the view was outstanding. The place is very private, high up on the hill, but with the instructions from our host we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. The driveway is about 1/4 mile, steep, with parts of it gravel, and has several sharp turns, but we made it no problem with the small jeep we rented (without 4WD). Just take it slow. It is about a 15 minute drive back down to the town center of Lucca and the train station and 10 minutes to a grocery store. The back roads are very narrow until you get to a main road so use caution and we were lucky enough that others backed up for us when we met on the narrow spots. The view and seclusion were well worth the drive up for us. If you want an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, but also a short drive to a neat town and a train station, Villa Lina is a great choice!

We LOVED our stay at Nathalie's lovely home, nestled among the vineyards. Exactly as advertised, if not better, it was a beautiful home, nicely decorated and both spacious and cozy. The beds were comfortable - important when staying as long as we did - and we had all the modern amenities we needed in this very old "castle". We had no trouble getting Ubers/taxis into Bordeaux proper when we needed to and it was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet of the location. Even better than the house itself, Nathalie was a very gracious, extremely helpful host. She helped us arrange a chef to cook for us on our first night there and even selected an array of wines to go along with our meal. She was very responsive leading up to our stay and throughout. If you want a relaxing and luxurious stay near Bordeaux, definitely book this location. I hope to come back!

Valia’s villa was a dream! Gorgeous view, modern, well appointed. The pool was lovely and the air conditioning worked really well. Can’t wait to return!

A group of 8 of us had a wonderful stay at James's villa. The property was exactly as pictured and was immaculately clean. James himself was friendly and responsive. I would recommend!

Magnifique maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût, fidèle aux photos. Très belles prestations, un lieu vraiment magique où nous avons passé une très belle semaine entre amies. Les hôtes sont tres actifs et ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. La région est également superbe. Je recommande vivement cet endroit incroyable!

Omdat ons verblijf de vorige keer (drie jaar geleden) erg goed was bevallen, keerden we terug naar Evia Fox House. Het was wederom fantastisch: een prachtige en smaakvolle villa, privé maar wel met uitzicht en met zwembad, en veel ruimte in en om het huis. De communicatie met Dimitra verliep vlot en heel prettig. We hadden hoge verwachtingen (na ons eerste bezoek) en die zijn wederom helemaal uitgekomen. De omgeving biedt allerlei bezienswaardigheden (kloosters, kerkjes, stranden, bergen, steden, opgravingen) maar we genoten er ook van om thuis te blijven in deze prachtige villa en tuin.

Roberto ist ein toller Gastgeber, er ist sehr fürsorglich und hat uns super bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Wir haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist in einer Traumhaften Lage, auf jeder Ebene mit toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Highlight ist der Private Zugang zum Meer. Der Pool bietet alles was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Parkplätze sind im Grundstück vorhanden. Wir hatten einen VW Bus, ein Motorrad und ein kleines Mietauto dabei. (und Mountainbikes) Die nähe zum Flughafen war für uns sehr praktisch, weil wir mit der ganzen Familie dort waren und unsere Kinder zu verschiedenen Zeiten angereist sind. Ein eigenes Auto ist notwendig um Mobil zu sein. Für uns war es perfekt weil wir ca. 50 min ins Kletterparadies San Vito del Capo benötigten und auch mal nach Palermo fahren konnten. Die Entfernung zu den schönsten Orten in West Sizilien sind mit <1Std. zu erreichen. das Wohngebiet ist sehr Ruhig und gepflegt und wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Danke an Roberto

I can't say enough positive things about the apartment and Christian. Christian went above and beyond letting us check-in early and meeting us a few blocks from the apartment so that we could unload our luggage before returning the car we rented. He even carried our huge bag up the three flights of stairs! He gave us great restaurant recs and also arranged a car to take us to the airport at the end of our 4 night stay. The apartment is in a prime location right near Comp di Fiori. It was clean, airconditioned and large enough for our group of 7 to spread out. I highly recommend this airbnb!

We had a lovely two-week stay in Madrid, using this apartment as our home base. Located right on Plaza Mayor, with lovely views out the doors and from the balcony, this is a fabulous location. We were concerned about noise being a problem, but it really just showed the life in the Plaza and was quiet by midnight. We opted to eat off the plaza most meals, as there are better options and more affordable (less touristy). Easy to get to many parts of Madrid from this location, whether by walking, catching the train/subway, or getting a taxi. The apartment is very nicely appointed with a great kitchen and living room. Beds and bathrooms were nice too. We highly recommend this for families and groups visiting Madrid!

Zona stupenda. La casa si trova nella fattoria della famiglia Pezzini, un borghetto con una ventina di persone che vi abitano, tra cui la famiglia stessa. Attorno ci sono i maiali di cinta senese, tipici della zona. Il borghetto è una chicca da scoprire, le persone stupende. La casa aveva tutti i comfort, ogni camera con il suo bagno privato, arredata con cura, perfetta per i gruppi di amici o le famiglie. Cristina, la proprietaria, è stata gentilissima e disponibile, e quando c’è stato un malfunzionamento con la jacuzzi su cui non è stato possibile intervenire subito (l’elettricista non arrivava prima di lunedì, ed era sabato) si sono scusati tantissimo e ci sono venuti incontro sul check out prolungato. Veramente una splendida scoperta. Torneremo molto volentieri.

Wow! The Curina Luxury Villa was truly a home away from home. Our family enjoyed having lots of indoor space, connected to the amazing outdoors via large windows throughout the house. We spent most of our time being or looking outdoors, and enjoying the pool and outdoor sitting and dining area. Valentina could not have been more accommodating. She arranged for an early checkin so our daughter could take a business call, was available for questions all of the time and went above and beyond duty to ensure a package carrying my husband and my forgotten passports arrived in time for our journey home. This place was a delight and located within easy driving distance from lots of lovely natural and historic sites, and wonderful cafes and restaurants. It was great!!!!

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is well equipped with everything you need for a week-long stay (or longer), and situated very close to shops in Lavrio for groceries. Waking up everyday to the beautiful sunrise over the sea with mountains in view was amazing. We were able to very comfortably fit our whole family here without any issues and there was still more space we could have used for additional people if needed. We definitely plan to come back here for more family vacations.

Our family of 8 had a glorious stay at Stuart’s. this gorgeous home and setting fit exactly matched our Cycladic dream! Stuart was proactive in his communication, created a group chat in advance to connect our group with the manager Katerina, sent a car to pick us up, & cleaned the place mid-stay. There’s a binder full of recommendations and Katerina is quick to respond to queries and send along Sunny the handyman for a repair the one time we needed something fixed. Town is a 15 min walk- though not super stroller friendly. On calm days we loved swimming off the rocky outcroppings out front and snorkelling. The home was equipped with everything we needed for family beach days, from water shoes to floaty toys. The kitchen also had everything with could wish for from a blender to Bundt pans.

Wow, as good as the photos are - they understate the size of the property which is gigantic. It is a mansion, not a house and you’ll forever be finding additional seating and areas throughout your stay. The property could use a little love, but ultimately this adds to the charm and evident history of the villa. Paintings, ornaments and the likes are littered through the house adding to the intrigue. Thankfully the roads leading up the villa are wide and well paved once you get to the private compound gate (2 km’s), and there are better roads than others pre this point. There is a stray cat which likes to rest on the property, however it does keep to itself and may not be permanent. The bedrooms are huge, all with ensuites and the dual kitchen gives you options too. It really is a special place to stay with amazing views of the water, city and mountains.

Wir waren 2 Wochen in dieser zauberhaften Villa, sie übertrifft alle Erwartungen! Ein Traum! Die Kommunikation war super freundlich, schnell und hilfsbereit, der Check-in ist einfach, die Lage ist ruhig und der Blick und das Haus sind ganz einfach phänomenal. Ich war täglich im beheizten Pool schwimmen mit Blick aufs Meer. Pures Glück. Wir hoffen, bald wieder hier unseren Irlaub verbringen zu können. Vielen Dank fuer alles!!

Een geweldige en zeer ruime plek aan een rustige baai waar we 's ochtends zelf een keer tijdens het ontbijten uitzicht hadden op 2 spelende dolfijnen in zee! We kwamen aan rond pasen en dan zijn er wat winkels dicht maar er stond van alles in de koelkast voor een prima ontbijt, zeer attent! Zwembad was wat kleiner dan verwacht ( zwemmen moet je echt in de zee) maar zeker 5 sterren waard!

I don’t even know where to begin – this house is beyond incredible. The photos do not do it justice. From the moment we arrived, it felt surreal — like stepping into a dream. It’s by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in. The outdoor space is just as spectacular ! a gorgeous pool, countless seating areas to relax, and not a mosquito in sight (a pleasant surprise!). It felt like we had our own private paradise. The beach is a short five-minute walk away. we laid out our towels, swam, and walked right back. Pure bliss. A car is definitely a must for getting around Djerba, but there’s parking on-site, a shop 3mn walk with the nicest manager and a Carrefour market just five min drive. Our hosts, Karima and Mustafa, were exceptional — responsive, warm, and helpful from start to finish. I also want to give a special thanks to Ahlem, who cooked us one of the most delicious meal. If you’re considering booking – don’t think twice. GO TO DAR ANDALUS. You won’t regret it.

This villa is absolutely amazing. Blew us away! The place looks great in the photos but they really don't do it justice. Kevyn was a great host and really thought of everything. The effort he went through to accommodate us went above and beyond. if you are considering booking this villa then just do it, you won't regret it.

Wir hatten wundervolle 11 Tage in der Villa Cathrin. Die Nähe zum Meer ist traumhaft, die Anlage bietet viele Möglichkeiten die Urlaubstage abwechslungsreich zu gestalten (Tischtennis, allerhand Sandspielzeug, Gesellschaftsspiele, Billard). Wir hatten komplett unsere Ruhe und genossen die Abgeschiedenheit. Die Begrüßung war so herzlich - vielen lieben Dank noch mal dafür. Zu beachten ist: Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto, denn die Villa ist sehr abgeschieden. Für uns waren es auch leider zu wenig Handtücher. Also lieber noch ein paar mitbringen. Die Unterkunft ist teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Pumpe des Pools ist nachts sehr laut, daher mussten die Fenster oft schließen. Das stellt vielleicht im Hochsommer eine Schwierigkeit dar. Diese Punkte schwächten unser positives Erlebnis aber keinesfalls und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Große Empfehlung!

What an amazing stay! The views from the villa are spectacular, and the villa itself was immaculate. It felt so private & peaceful. We had Chef Niki come for a private dinner and a cooking class, and he was fantastic. Brunella and Giacomo were very helpful and responsive before our stay and throughout our time there. I’m already dreaming about coming back!
