Downstairs is another living-dining room with a kitchenette and a wood stove. Fully equipped and with WiFi. No heating. Fireplaces only. No TV.

It is a traditional house located on the edge of the village overlooking the highest peaks of the peninsula, Mulhacén 3482 and Veleta. Be careful with your mobility because there are many slopes in the village and stairs in the house. During summer on the "terrace" there may be flies and smells of cattle because there is a goat pen nearby. You can park or use the small parking lot of Las Espeñuelas for loading and unloading, which is 15 meters from the house, but first make sure you can drive.

Our small but fully equipped apartment is located on the edge of Mecina. The flat has everything you need to enjoy a few days in this smal but very family friendly village. Mecina has 2 restaurants - 1 which offers lots of live music and some of the best pizzas and the other a vegetarian restaurant. A bar with the best morning toasts and a hotel with a public pool in summer. The village also has a child's park. The flat is located high in the village - hence the name calle el castillo

The biggest draw of the house is its location, with a stunning view of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Canales Reservoir. It is very well connected with downtown Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, only half an hour driving. Pets are allowed, but there is a €30 fee per pet not included in the reservation.
