Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mayo

Fantastic stay at the boat shed, perfectly located a short walk from the town. The accommodation was in prestine condition and very comfortable, we felt at home straight away. Michelle and Jean were an absolute pleasure to deal with and gave us very clear instructions and communicated well with us prior to and during our stay, went abaove and beyond, will definitely be back.

Tigh Aine is a fabulous traditional Irish cottage where my husband and I based ourselves for three nights to explore North Mayo. Beatrice and Brendan have thought of everything in this gorgeous cottage, we were so comfortable during our stay, thank you. Super fast WiFi allowed us to work remotely too which was a bonus. We will definitely look at returning soon.

We had an amazing time at Tracey's. The house is just in the gorgeous village of Easkey with corner shop and pub just in front and very easy walks along the river to the sea. Easkey is convenient for us as we have friends close by but also close enough to Ennischrone and Ballina for some different beaches and shops when needed. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed for the week, including a lovely gift of fresh bread and milk that was so appreciated after a long drive. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful proper to stay at, but you must have a car as it's off main road. Beautiful place and would absolute return to this property. The host was AMAZING with a beautiful soul.

Het huisje is ruim opgezet, met veel ruimte voor een aangenaam verblijf. Alles is aanwezig. Dymphna is een hartelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Vanuit het huisje kun je verschillende kanten op wandelen. Absoluut een aanrader!

Eine traumhafte Lage mit Ausblick in jede Himmelsrichtung, jeweils ganz besonders und dadurch nie langweilig. Ein guter Startpunkt für etliche (Wander-) Touren. Auch hierzu Tipps erhalten. Sonne (wenn Sie denn scheint) von morgens bis abends am bzw im Haus. Wir haben bereits nach wenigen Tagen entschieden, dass wir nächstes Jahr wieder kommen wollen. Zum erholen genießen und abschalten eine der besten Unterkünfte die ich kenne. Und keine Angst vor der Zufahrt, ist wirklich absolut machbar und fordert weder ein besonderes Auto noch einen besonderen Fahrer.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und bietet auch für mehrere Fahrzeuge Parkmöglichkeiten. Gerard war sehr zuvorkommend und gab gute Tipps für Touren, um Ballina und die Region zu erkunden. Bei Problemen, die wir mit dem Motorrad hatten, haben uns alle sehr geholfen. Ein besonderes Highlight waren die Besuche im Pub nebenan, wo wir viele interessante Gespräche mit netten Leuten hatten. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Marie was so welcoming in her messages before our stay and everything was very easy for check in/check out. The cottage is spotless with a beautiful bathroom and full equipped stunning kitchen. Stocked with essentials like tea/coffee etc. Marie had also left us a fresh homemade apple pie from the local butchers which we were so grateful for after the long drive. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the house was lovely and warm.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

Delightful views across the valley were very pleasant on our one night stay.

Olivia hat uns am Tag vor der Anreise Bilder vom Haus und genaue Erklärungen geschickt, wie wir das Haus finden, wo die Schlüsselbox ist und so. Als wir ankamen waren wir vom ersten Moment an total begeistert von der Wohnung, sie war genau wie beschrieben eingerichtet. Sehr schön, Küche, Bad und Schlafzimmer sind zufälligerweise genau wie unser Einrichtungsstil zuhause gewesen. Das hat uns sofort ein „Zuhause-Gefühl“ gegeben. Die Wohnung war überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet. Es gab mehrere Sorten Tee, Duschgele, Shampoo, Conditioner - Handseife von Rituals, es gab adapterstecker & Haarspray, zusätzlich eine schöne kuschelige Wolldecke. Olivia haben wir am Tag der Abreise persönlich kennen lernen dürfen und haben ein sehr sympathisches und angenehmes Gespräch mit ihr geführt. Wir würden die Wohnung und Olivia als Vermieterin jederzeit empfehlen. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

My stay at Myra's was wonderful!! The apartment is exactly as described and had everything I needed during my week long visit. I loved the location which was an easy short walk to town and with a grocery store just a few minutes away. Myra and her family were wonderful hosts of who made me feel at home. I highly recommend their place!!

Irish hospitality at its best. Our hosts were lovely, bringing us freshly laid eggs most days and usually around at the end of the day for a friendly chat. The location was great, we loved our evening strolls along the beach. We hope to return someday.

I have stayed at Stephen’s before so knew what to expect. Self service check in extremely convenient. Place ideally situated in centre of Ballina. Facilities excellent.

We had an amazing Experience and most importantly we climbed Croagh Patrick!!!! Best location to explore the beautiful beaches in westport.

Super gelegen im Zentrum, einfacher Check-in, saubere, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt! ein Couchtisch würde die Einrichtung noch abrunden.

Mary was so lovely and welcoming. She was easily contactable and so warm and friendly. We were keen to have a bit of privacy and she left us to our own devices to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location of the apartment is really spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub looking out on the lake was a real highlight of the trip.

Danny was very welcoming and made myself and my girlfriend feel right at home. The place was very cosy and peaceful. Would stay again!

I felt right at home in this beautiful, cosy, picturesque AirB&B with a beautiful garden. The attention to detail was exceptional. On arrival the radio was playing, the heating was on and there were some lovely homemade scones along with a welcome note layed out on the breakfast bar. This created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The garden and small patio create a private and beautiful space to relax and unwind in. Especially at this time of year with the flowers in full bloom and the birds singing. You have everything you could possibly need, Michelle has thought of everything, and the town is within walking distance. Plus the soap in the bathroom is a real luxury and smells so nice. Michelle is a lovely, kind and considerate host, she's easily reachable and truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this AirB&B

The owner was brilliant communicate with, every instruction to get in and how to get around was very good, we had a group and it was seem less!! We will definitely be back to this location as part of our yearly trip! Thanks for everything!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Catherine's apartment, which was very comfortable, nicely laid out, very well equipped and very spacious. It's located on the top floor, at the rear of the building, which makes it very quiet and peaceful. Another positive is the fact that there is a parking space in the building as on-street parking outside always seemed to be full. It's in a great location, with bars, restaurants etc., in walking distance and there's even a convenience store nearby. We also found the location to be very convenient for access to the various attractions of the area. Overall, we were very pleased to have found this property and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Amazing stay!!! Private, on the water, amazing views, quiet, spacious, fantastic hosts oh I don't even know where to stop with all the positive! Walk to Ashford Castle which we did, and into the village of Cong, oh what a gem this house, nobody else around you yet so close to all. Thank you for a fantastic stay, I will be back!!!!
