Cozy and very private accommodation not overlooked. Very clean and very well equipped. Great for discovering the surrounding villages and enjoying the spa in the evening.

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and beautiful terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, wifi is a little tight for teleworking. I recommend it.

Lovely modern home in a beautiful rustic setting, with chickens, cherry trees and a sweet little truffle hunting dog Lubie on site. Very gracious hosts who communicated well in English. Many charming towns nearby and 12-15 minutes from a good supermarket and shops in Le Bugue. The campground next door was like a cruise ship some evenings but all noise stopped by 11 pm. We loved everything about our stay. Merci!

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. We are delighted with the welcome from our host Jeannine and our stay. It is an ideal, peaceful and charming accommodation, well-equipped, to discover the surroundings: castles, most beautiful villages in France, gastronomy. We highly recommend this listing. We obviously don't forget the delicious walnut cake from our lovely host, for our arrival, his precious advice on places to visit, and the pleasant presence of his two cats.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

Sophie's accommodation is very nice and renovated with quality materials. In addition, it is close to the center and shops while allowing you to enjoy a beautiful environment and calm. For a stress-free arrival, Sophie had made available to us: coffee, tea, condiments, etc. It was perfect.

the apartment is beautiful, the medieval style building delighted me, close to everything, wonderful restaurants nearby, the cathedral opposite is simply beautiful. I would definitely recommend it and will come back someday

Exceeded our expectations in every way!! Magnificent building enhanced by beautiful antiques and accessories. The restaurant was great and the parking was excellent. The bathroom was special. The village was a perfect location to explore the Dordogne region. Very close to Beynac, Domme, and the Marqueyssac Gardens. Perfect for canoeing the river too.

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

fantastic place.. kids 11,9,5 loved trampoline, ropes course, swing and heated pool (which is alarmed so provided peace of mind) steep stairs to 2 bedrooms on lower floor where older kids slept. 5yr old and us slept in two bedrooms on ground floor with kitchen, lounge, dining etc. BBQs every day by pool. very private yet 5 min bike ride into village (although hill on way back - our 5 year old managed it but had to walk). great sports park in town with pump track, football pitches, tennis courts, basketball and crazy golf (all free but take equipment) and pop up bar! kids insisted on going back daily! good kid friendly pizza restaurant, pharmacy, bank, post office, minimarket amazing boulangerie, market with local produce on Mondays all in town. recommend flat traffic free cycle ride from Le Bugue to Limeuil (6km) on velo verte along valzere river (fab market on Tuesday in le Bugue). also amazing day kayaking down Dordogne (aquafun in limeuil) host v responsive and place immacate

Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

Very clean, very functional accommodation that fully matches the description given. Comfortable accommodation decorated with sobriety and taste. Very nice terrace given the excellent weather we enjoyed. Well-equipped with kitchen utensils. Very convenient cellar for us who had mountain bikes.

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

What a charm when you arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a wooded and well-kept park with a large shared swimming pool. Exceptional hospitality from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very sweet and generous and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. Pleasure from the morning to open the windows, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It's a peaceful haven with beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!
