With road access along the fjord from the west and ferry connection from Vik and Nordeide.

Recommended to see in the nearby area: Old ruins from World War II. Rich island kingdom where you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutes by car. Bicycle paths. In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. (free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, there is no shop in Rutledal. Welcome :)

We are now back after a break due to maintenance. Enjoy a spectacular view from Birdbox, located on top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When the wind blows on the sea you can see white sea spray up the islets and reefs all the way west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can go to the bird box from the shore. A beautiful, newly renovated country house with an old-fashioned interior. The house is of historical value. Just a 7 minute drive from the main highway and you will find yourself in a small village. A great option for an overnight trip from Bergen to the north. Or a great opportunity to relax in the silence of the countryside. The house is very spacious with the possibility explore the surroundings. Enjoy silence and relaxation in a lovely environment. Perfect place for people who love animals.

Cabin near the Fjord

The Eldhuset is part of a farmyard. The cottage has its own terrace with a roof and its own parking. Livingroom and modern kitchen in the same room, two bedrooms and a new bathroom with washing machine. The bedrooms have double beds (150x200) and a built-in bed (150 x 200). The farm is located near the ferry terminal, Lavik, along the E39. The cabin is a great starting point for kayaking on the fjord, forest walks or easy mountain hikes. We have a motorboat, SUP, kayak and sauna for rent.
