It’s walkable to the port where all the islands hopping tour meet up , perfect spot to walk back after the islands hopping tour. Shops are just outside the premises and Sheryl has a staff that became our very good friend as she is so amazing on assisting us on transport , tours and other things that we inquired about. Me and my sister had a great time visiting Palawan because of such good people ! Thank you Bher and Sheryl ! We truly appreciate you both ! Recommend this host ❤️

Wow is all I can say. I felt like a rockstar from the pick up and throughout the experience. The place is basic but you have hot water shower, paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling gear. I did not realize how full service the place is. We could order food to our place anytime or could be picked up and taken to the restaurant anytime. The private boat trips from our dock was the cherry on top. It is stunning here and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Accommodation has a wonderful view on the bay in every places (room and bathroom). It is beautiful with nice decoration. The sea is not that clear compare to other place in Coron but there is a swimming pool. Thank you for this nice stay !

Thank you for the accomodation. Everything was smooth from the time we set foot and the time we left the location. From the airport to the resort, managing our transportation, and the wonderful tours that was set up with the package. We also want to thank the crew specially Ms. Sarah for taking care of everything.

Séjour parfait du début à la fin ! Tout était pris en charge : transport, activités, nourriture, location de scooter… L’hôte était toujours disponible et aux petits soins, rendant l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’endroit est magnifique, idéal pour se détendre et profiter pleinement. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Marina Del Sol was a lovely refuge in a lovely location right on the water. Perfect location in the bay with fantastic views of the sunset over the water. It was helpful as our dive center was able to pick us up by boat from the dock at the resort. Ms. Rap was very proactive and helpful the whole time. We appreciated her helping to arrange our transfers to/from Coron Town. I'd recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are a diver, as the resort is located closer to the main dive sites on the island than if we stayed in Coron Town.

Nous avons séjourné quatre nuits dans une magnifique suite, au sein d’un lieu unique et paisible avec une vue à couper le souffle. Peter s’est montré d’une grande gentillesse et d’une grande convivialité ; nous avons passé d’excellents moments en sa compagnie, notamment autour d’un verre de vin (ou deux 🤫). Serviable et réactif à toutes nos demandes, ce qui a contribué énormément à la beauté de notre voyage. De plus, il nous a organisé des excursions en bateau privé, avec une équipe parfaitement organisée, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir bien plus de choses que prévu. L’hôtel possède un bar et un restaurant avec vue sur toute la baie. On y mange très bien et le service est très agréable ! Hâte de revenir vous visiter ! Virgilia et François-Marie

Miley ist meistens vor Ort und eine sehr liebevolle und hilfsbereite Person. Sie hat sich immer sofort um unsere Anliegen gekümmert und wir konnten auch einen Roller bei ihr mieten. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, mit tollem Pool und traumhafter Aussicht. Auch die Küche ist der wahnsinn, wir wurden immer mit sehr leckerem Essen verwöhnt. Darüber waren wir sehr froh, da es keine andere Möglichkeit in der Nähe hatte. Man ist sehr abgelegen, aber mit dem Roller kann man trotzdem alles erkunden und es ist der perfekte Ort zum entspannen. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Amazing tranquil gem. Will for sure stay here again. The views and vibe of this place are amazing. Only to be topped by the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. It Felt like spending time with family. And it had some cute little fur babies as well, for you pet lovers. It is little drive from the main town, but was a beautiful scooter ride that I enjoyed doing daily. Food was all amazing and again I can’t speak to how amazing the hospitality was and I cannot wait to return. My only negative comment is I wish I had booked for longer. I Highly recommend this oasis in the jungle, you will not regret it ❤️❤️

There is the very nice quite place. Excellent service, amazing nature and marine life around, beautiful coral reef where we saw turtles, colorful corals, different fishes, crabs, squids and other sea animals. David is a very intelligent person, it was very nice to go to dive with him. Cliff, Genny and other staff are very friendly and open-mind, it was easy to communicate with them. Around this place a lot of different dive sites, including Japanese wrecks, amazing coral reefs and islands. Hope we will come back to this resort, thank you all for your hospitality and warm welcome!

Séjour exceptionnel à l'écolodge de Sand Island ! David et Genny sont des hôtes formidables, très réactifs et attentionnés. Le lieu est hors du temps, sur une île isolée au coeur des magnifiques paysages de Coron. Nous avons fait tous les tours proposés en bateau et avons été émerveillés. La nourriture proposées sur place et de très bonne qualité nous nous sommes régalés. Possibilité d'utiliser gratuitement le matériel de snorkeling, les kayak etc. Le logement est basique mais avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un très bon séjour (connexion internet, netflix, etc.). Je recommande vraiment le logement de David, c'était le meilleur moment de notre voyage aux Philippines. Merci encore !

I loved how quiet it was on this island and how private it felt, even though there were other guests. This is what you pay for when you take the boat 40min to get there from Coron. We enjoyed our stay very much, slept great and did 1 island tour and some kajaking and diving. David and his quite extensive team were always available via Airbnb app if we needed anything like drinks, dinner, breakfast or an additional pot, can opener or aloe vera because we had sunburn. 😆 Everybody was super friendly. Note that the beach is not a really superfine sandy dream beach to bathe in. It's rather an entry to snorkel, dive or kayak. The activity prices are quite high, so all in all it was enjoyable but also a quite expensive stay for us.

This stay was the “Best” experience I have ever had travelling as a back packer! I am 60 years old, but still seek out adventures that are authentic, but not so extreme that I would find it difficult or intimidating. This experience had it all! The host had staff who saw us all the way from the airport, to Coron, onto a local boat which chartered us for an hour long journey past Palawan’s most beautiful destinations! The camp itself is isolated, but on-site staff were there to take care of every concern. The hut had power, internet, a fan and toiletries but you still feel like your on a deserted island! Turned out, there was a town you could get any necessities if you enjoy a 20 minute hike! The locals spoke a little English and were very friendly! A highly recommended trip for adventure travellers with just the right measure of “Glamping”. Markus.
