As good as before, for the comfort of our stay, Mr. Host deliberately burned the furnace in advance and pushed the door open, wow, so warm.We are honored to book this property again, with the exception of the bathroom that keeps it private, and the other rooms have clean screen windows to regulate themselves, making the rooms airy 24/7 and fresh and refreshing.The host provided a rich variety of daily necessities, fully equipped with tableware and kitchenware, two wide single beds neat and comfortable, one more single bed for laying out covers, daily change of clothes, bath towels, towels, was too convenient.The host also thoughtfully set my own password for both of them, so I'm happy.We don't like the bustling and bustle of the big city, and Otaru's calm and quiet let us come and come again.With friends we share, this home is your go-to.

Having stayed at Osaka, Furano, and Asahikawa this trip, it was a relief stepping into Yamada and Maya's home. Every item was labelled with great care, and there was ample space for my 7 year old boy and 1.5 year old toddler. The house was designed with careful planning - from the living area to the bedrooms, the washroom and bathroom. It was easy to move around from a functional point of view. After travelling for a week with 2 young kids, we felt so comfortable knowing every corner was thoughtfully planned out. They even prepared a toddler stool, and set up a toy area in one of the bedrooms! I'm comforted by their hospitality in this home away from home. We rested well, and would book this place again if we were to return.

We had such a great time staying here! We felt right at home and the place was so cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked for easy cooking and the shower/tub was fun.

A very cosy place to stay in around the Noboribetsu area. Yuuyu was a responsive and warm host who provided clear instructions. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay, the traditional rooms in the house made the stay extra special. The house was very spacious and everything was tidy and clean. Amenities were great. We travelled with our baby and they even had a high chair, baby bath, bouncer and sleeping cot for use. The kitchen has extensive amenities. It was located in a very quiet area - not noisy at all. Local bakery and okonomiyaki restaurant just around the corner for an easy breakfast/dinner option. Easy drive to Lake Toya and surrounding sites. Check-in was super easy and Kazu was great to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Great area. Really spacious and the host was extremely helpful. The airbnb was a little on the older side. we saw a lovely family of deer in the back yard too.

Such a fantastic stay and directly opposite Bar Gyu - the best cocktail bar in the area. Staff were so accomodating and helpful with free shuttle services to/from gondola.

It feels like back in time when everything was slow and traditional. The house has lots of interesting antiques and little details worth looking at. It gives a total different vibe which is exactly what I was hoping for. Satomi-San is a gentle and friendly lady who welcomed us in person. Though we stayed one night only in the house, but we had fun time playing “Go” chess together!

There are many kitchen utensils, suitable for cooking, The environment is open, and the neighborhood is full of houses. Very quiet The owner will pick you up and drop you off at the station, Very thoughtful

Prompt and friendly service. Communication was efficient too. Quiet, safe and friendly neighbourhood. Walking distance to supermarket, metro station and city centre. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Yuki’s place in Otaru. It was very comfortable for our family of four. We appreciated being able to park at the property ahead of check-in. Lots to do and eat within walking distance.

Great location with extremely close access to konbini and a short 2 minute walk to the nearest station. The view of the Sapporo landscape from the balcony is amazing and better than the pictures show.

The unit/apartment is very safe. It was near the train station,supermarket,7/11. The space is clean and big. The toilet and shower area is clean. I feel home during my stay .Host is responsive everytime I have question.

Had a great stay at this Airbnb in Japan! The place was super clean and cozy, and the location made it really easy to get around by car , nearby . lake shikotsu , stonehenge 15mins to central sapporo ,The host was friendly and helpful, . Overall, everything went smoothly—would totally stay here again!

This is a very good homestay, clean, and the number of rooms is sufficient for our 7 adults traveling. It is recommended to drive there, because the location is at a higher point, it is more tiring to climb the hill with luggage, and driving does not affect it at all. The host was very enthusiastic and responded quickly. When the temperature in one room was not cool enough, the host immediately helped us install a cooling machine. We are happy to choose this house for our stay in Otaru. Will consider coming back again.

It was helpful to have a lot of facilities rather than the information listed in a good way.

Starchase is a great Chalet a short drive from the base of the Annapuri resort (and is even walkable if you're up for the 15-20 minutes it takes). The house is well set up for a larger group, has a well stocked kitchen with all the utensils, flatware, and tools you need to cook, and is really well maintained and kept by the H2 team. I found the H2 team very helpful and responsive to messages. I shipped skis ahead of me, and they were waiting for me in the Chalet when I arrived, and the team helped hold skis for a Courier to pick them up when I departed. Big thanks for helping take care of all of that! If you're looking for a great place to stay with a large family, or with friends, I absolutely recommend Starchase, and will certainly be back!
