This Appenzell house, which is around 200 years old and was modernized in 2023/24, stands high above Herisau and is affectionately called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. Authentically, it shines in a fantastic mountain and hill setting – a true retreat for the soul.

Idyllic lakeside

Our cozy apartment is ideal for 1 - 3 guests who want a relaxing break outside the hectic city. A great starting point for excursions by bike or on foot in the beautiful surroundings and to interesting destinations. It's only a few minutes down the mountain to the lake. Here, you can take the ferry to Meersburg, and the island of Mainau is also not far away. A nice long shore path or the free, direct bus (about 15 min.) leads to the old town.
