Vacation rentals with a kayak in Magog

Perfect place. Our family was very comfortable there. Extra touch, like having a Christmas tree up in living room, made an even greater experience. Branden was super quick with responses and helpful.

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans ce chalet exceptionnel. L’endroit est tout simplement idyllique, parfait pour des vacances en famille. Le chalet est entièrement équipé, très propre, confortable et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût — rien ne manque ! Un grand merci à notre hôte, d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité remarquables. Il a été aux petits soins du début à la fin, ce qui a vraiment fait la différence. Nous repartons reposés, ravis, et avec l’envie de revenir très bientôt. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

Kevin's place is by far the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Everything far exceeded our expectations, and was even more beautiful than any picture could do justice. The house itself is large enough to sleep eight (we were only four), but still felt cozy enough that we never felt lost in it. The entire property is flawlessly clean and perfectly maintained. It's like staying at a postcard quality getaway. Lastly, Kevin is incredibly thoughtful in his dealings with guests, and doesn't overlook a single detail. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

The White Owl Cottage is a wonderful and spacious location on a quiet road. It’s impossible to critique a lake front home with kayaks and canoes; space for s’mores; an expansive interior and a modern home. Hotel level water pressure. TV’s for rain. Toys for kids. We generally have a “one time only” rule to make sure we visit different places, and we may break it to visit the White Owl Cottage again - it’s that amazing.

Beau petit chalet sur le bord d'un magnifique lac sur lequel il est possible de patiner et de marcher en hiver. Superbes couleurs de coucher de soleil. Quiétude absolue. Belle décoration intérieure et bien aménagé/équipé. À proximité de beaucoup d'attraits de villégiature et d'agrotourisme. Hautement recommandé !

Rose et Caro furent de fantastiques hôtesses. Elles répondaient très rapidement et étaient très cordiales. Nous recommandons à tous leur bel endroit!

Le chalet donne directement sur le lac, la vue est magnifique. Des plongeons huards nous ont rendu visite. On entend le trafic quand on est dehors, mais l'intérieur est bien insonorisé. Le spa est bien agréable, avec vue sur le lac. Les matelas pourraient être un peu plus fermes (pour qui a besoin d'un fort soutien). Deux chambres ont l'interrupteur à l'extérieur de la chambre et l'une d'entre elle n'a pas d'autre source d'éclairage. Cette chambre n'a pas non plus de table de nuit, ce qui est inconfortable. L'électro-ménager est complet et fonctionnel. Le salon manque de confort : le canapé est adossé directement à un placard-lit, sans appuie-tête pour se protéger des chocs. Ce n'est pas non plus une pièce avec une porte, donc ne peut être considéré comme un bureau, d'autant qu'il n'y a pas de meuble pour travailler (pas grave quand on peut travailler sur la terrasse). Dans l'ensemble c'est très bon et Patrick est hyper-réactif, dispo et très accommodant. Je recommande !

Je voulais faire découvrir les week-ends en chalet à ma famille qui venait au Canada pour la première fois. Ils n’ont pas été déçue, le lac et la vue sur le mont pinacle sont absolument magnifiques même en hiver. Le spa nous a bien réchauffer après des bonnes journées dans le froid. Le chalet en lui même est très grands et super bien équipé. Merci encore.

Very clean and cozy cottage. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, and peaceful surroundings. It was a great home base for exploring nearby attractions (we enjoyed Sutton, Douglass Beach in Knowlton, driving the Route des Vines, and visiting the Granby Zoo and Montreal Biodome with our toddler). We appreciated the family-friendly features such as the high chair, baby plates and utensils, and baby gates which gave us peace of mind as the cottage spans two floors. Fanny also was very responsive.

This place was magical! I lucked out with perfect weather this time of year. The views and the lake were so peaceful and amazing. Laying on the hammock reading my book listening to the birds chirp was priceless. I brought my dog Lola who also enjoyed sun bathing and relaxing on the property. We felt completely safe, the cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Can’t say enough wonderful things of all the details and thought put into this place. So grateful I had the opportunity to visit. I’ll be back for sure!

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

Darren est proactif, il communique avec ses hôtes rapidement. Ces réponses sont claires et précises. Il a le souci de rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. C’est notre deuxième séjour à Salem Lake et je n’hésiterai pas à y retourner si l’occasion se présente.

Ryan was a great host and communicated well before and during the stay. We had no issues during our stay but knew Ryan was only a message away and would address what we needed. Location was perfect for our ski trip to Jay. Restaurants in the area were good but the whole town closes pretty early. Not much of a night life but that was ok. Would recommend and stay again. Thanks Ryan!

We loved staying at Nathalie’s place! The space was clean, the fire pit and dock were highlights for our two families, and we had what we needed with clear instructions. We appreciated having a relaxing and fun stay!

Cristal’s chalet is absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. It’s located right on the lake, which makes mornings extra special, you can enjoy your coffee while watching the sunrise over the water. Cristal is super friendly and easy to communicate with. The place was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. I had friends visiting from the States, and they were completely blown away by the stunning nature and the charm of the property. It’s a solid 10 out of 10, we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Claudia was super sweet, responsive and proactive with the crazy amount of snow that was incoming during our stay. She made sure we were doing ok and that the driveway got plowed. The cabin was lovely and so cozy. Just what we needed for a weekend away with our group. Jay Peak was an easy drive from the cabin. Would absolutely stay again!

Suzie’s place is very peaceful. I stayed in a twinned cabin, but it still felt very private. There is water surrounding the peninsula of land these cabins sit on which made mornings and evenings feel super serene. The kitchen had everything I needed including wine glasses. Plenty of space to spread out, empty dresser to put my things. I appreciated that the water got plenty hot in the shower. The US border, ~10min south, is conveniently open to cross 24/7. I never waited more than 5min to get through either direction, though I crossed each of the 4 days I stayed. Skied at Jay Peak for the weekend, truly only 20min away. Would definitely stay again, and would visit the town center next time when I do. Suzie was very accommodating when I had to book a stay less than a day in advance.

This was a very nice cottage for a stay in the area. The place has a lot of character and was very comfortable.

This was our second time at this chalet. We are 2 families. 4 adults and 4 children ages 9-13. 6 bedroom, with comfortable bed. The kids can all play on the walk out basement...foose ball table, air hockey, karaoke, tv, couch. The kitchen is well supplied with pots/pans and spices. Beautiful surrounding, a hottub. We will be back for sure! Host was a pleasure to communicate with!

Great place. Three of us went for a few day fishing trip and it was perfect. Great dock space and cottage is clean and comfortable

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, secluded little get away this is the place to go. I truly miss it already. Everything was perfect and so much to do. The game room is stocked with more games than I even knew existed, and in the main house so many puzzles, books and more games. The kitchen has everything you need to make a home cooked meal. We stopped at Shaws and Walmart in Newport on our way to the cabin, and I suggest anyone else who visits this amazing cabin does the same because I can promise you once you arrive on holland pond you will not want to leave. The whole cabin is so cozy and welcoming with some of the nicest blankets to cuddle up in. Anthony & Toni’s cabin is truly a gem and the pictures don’t do it justice. You’ll have to go see for yourselves.

We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside chalet! The views are absolutely stunning and the setting is incredibly peaceful — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The chalet is a bit smaller than we expected, but it was cozy and had everything we needed!

Came here for a 16 person bachelor party and the space was absolutely perfect. First off, the house is GORGEOUS. The photos do not do it justice. There's enough room to spread out but also great community spaces. I especially enjoyed the long kitchen tables where everyone could eat dinner together. Second, the property is huge. As such a big group of all guys, I was very concerned that we would bother others. Luckily on this property, there is no one to bother. We met the care taker at check in and never saw him again. We had some beautiful sunsets while playing games in the grass. Lastly, getting here was a breeze. Coming from Massachusetts, it was a straight shot up the highway and a quick pass through border control. Only note is that the closest crossing now closes at 8 pm so be aware of that. The house was easy to find with a lot of signs near the main road. We loved our stay here and are already thinking of ways to return. Best Airbnb I have ever been to hands down!
