White Lodge Cottage is a 200 year old “farm workers cottage”. Jane and Mark live in the separate farmhouse on this 33 acre farm which is in the middle of a rewilding program. Guests can enjoy the entire area which includes a recreational field by the river, a wildlife pond with a bird hide and a platform overlooking the valley, ideal for spotting the local Goshawk. We believe our family cottage is pretty special. A two year conversion from an abandoned cow barn which is about 150 years old. Its decor has a little French influence and is very interesting, full of antiques, curios and memorabilia but has a homely, snug and intimate atmosphere. The kitchen, dining and living area are open plan which creates a warm relaxed feeling for family and friends. One looks out over a beautiful valley which is completely private. No roads or foot fall to disturb you.
