Absolutely beautiful. The hosts cared very much for the location and the needs and preferences of the guests. The unit is a 2nd floor stair-access location so may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations, but from the moment you open the door, you immediately feel a sense of “I could live here.” The decor was home-like and inviting, with all kitchen amenities readily available. Every detail was considered: from a spare umbrella at the coat-rack, to coffee-maker with supplies, to mixing bowls in the cupboards. Tucked underneath the TV was a collection of books with something to appeal to all ages and interests; and when that wasn’t enough, there was a deck of cards at hand — perfect for a rainy day. At night the neighbourhood is quiet and still, interrupted only by the early morning chirp of birds. The hosts were as engaged or discreet as a guest might desire and readily adapted to your needs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank-you Josseline!

Perfect little spot that was super walkable: 25 minute walk from Carleton, 20 minute walk to the grocery store, river walk right out the door, and many shops, cafes, and restaurants close walkable as well. Quick to get a Lyft to the airport. Loved the bathtub.

Sonia was super responsive and even met us upon arrival and gave us some nice suggestions to get our stay off to a good start. Definitely within walking distance to many of the city's attractions. One day we walked to the Museum of History across the river in Gatineau. Would stay here again on another visit to Ottawa.

Ryan’s place was great to stay at. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful. The place was very clean and Ryan gave us privacy but was very responsive as well which was great. Parking was easy and very convenient. No complaints. Would come back.

Logement agréable dans un quartier paisible et facile d'accès avec un emplacement pour se garer juste devant. Très pratique. Lit très douillé. Instructions d'arrivée et de sortie claires. Dans l'ensemble le logement avait tout ce qu'il fallait. Juste dommage pour le bruit du frigo pour dormir et de la clim mais c'est un studio donc prévisible. Je recommande ce logement 🙂. Studio très propre avec commerces de proximité et des brochures à disposition dans le studio.

Cute and cosy little place. Very clean, and very close to Byward market. Although small, we were provided all the amenities we needed. Check in was a breeze and Tatyana and Maya were very quick to answers our questions and address our concerns. Will definitely consider staying again on our next trip to Ottawa! P.S. - The coffee was tasty!

Mike's place - The Byron Brownstone - is really one of the finest Airbnb's I have stayed at. I am an Ottawa native and love the Westboro area. It was quiet and literally a five minute walk to Richmond Road where there are so many interesting places. Honestly, I wish I had more time. The place was beautiful, clean, spacious, airy, and delightful. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were brand new, kitchen was amazing. Mike was a pleasure to communicate with and I look forward to hopefully staying there again. It was well worth it. An excellent find and all around great place. If you choose it, you will absolutely enjoy it!

Je recommande énormément cet airbnb. Kathy et Steve sont très accueillants, respectueux et pleins de bonnes attentions. Le cadre est superbe (surtout en été et printemps) et cela nous a permit de passer un séjour mémorable à Ottawa. L'un des meilleurs airbnb que j'ai pu faire de ma vie.

Helene's Sanctuary was the perfect spot for us to rest and recharge for a weekend. We enjoyed the art, the backyard, and the view from the room. The gardens and rockface are stunning. The bed was very comfortable and we found everything we needed in the space (a mini-fridge, kettle, keurig, microwave, toaster). It is also half a block from a bakery and grocery shop. Helene was helpful with recommendations and anticipated our needs. For example, she offered to make us a fire on a cool evening and leant us an umbrella for the rain. Helene was an amazing host and even had a special gluten free treat for me on my arrival - imagine! We highly recommend staying at Helene's, what a treat. Looking forward to returning again soon.

This is a very clean, well-designed and comfortablel house in a walkable neighborhood in Ottawa. It is close to walking paths, the canal, restaurants, cafes and lovely gardens. It is in a central location for exploring the city.

Great spot for a stay in Ottawa, quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to Lower Town, which is buzzing with restaurants, shops and the Bywater Market. Nice access to a local park and riverside walks too. The place itself is quiet, comfy and private, had a good nights’ sleep here after each day exploring. Would 100% stay again, thank you Cory!

We really enjoyed our stay at el nido! Viviane was a very helpful, accommodating host. Reminded me what Airbnb’s should always be like.. funky, well-appointed, lovely location, great, very communicative host! The bed, bathroom and tiny, but very functional kitchen are all top notch. We also appreciated the choice of coffee makers. Will def stay here next time we’re in Wakefield (lovely village!)

This was a great place to stay for our Ottawa trip. It was walkable to quite a few nice places and there are lots of great restaurants that are also within walking distance. Having a private entrance to the basement was lovely and it was very spacious. We really appreciated the clear instructions and the cleanliness of the place. Would definitely book again if I’m back in the city.

Caitlin and her family were amazing. We felt right at home the entire time. She was always helpful and responsive. They even went out of their way to help us move in our groceries as they were heavy. We appreciate all their kindness. Their place was spacious and comfortable to stay in and had everything we needed. It was overall a great experience.

I booked this Airbnb for my parents. They thought it was excellent and noted that both hosts, Adam and Jenny were extremely nice and friendly. They noted that the apartment was clean and had everything they needed. They believed it went beyond what is usually found in an airbnb mainly the bathroom, kitchen and living area were very well equipped. Finally they were very satisfied with the clear access instructions. We definitely recommend this Airbnb and would book it again.

Ottawa is now my favorite Canadian city and this apartment is one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever. The bed is comfortable, there's plenty of storage and the rainwater showerhead made for relaxing showers. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and responsive and the decor is bright and modern. Not many cons. The couch is short and firm so not ideal for naps, though I managed, and the kitchen is tiny, but it had everything I needed. The home is well-situated in the charming Little Italy neighborhood. It's close to a wonderful trail that takes you to Ottawa River in one direction and Dow's Lake in the other. And, of course, you're blocks away from some incredible Italian groceries - highly recommend the gelato at Pietro's Corner and fresh pasta and sauces at Parm Fresh. You are a longer walk or a drive from the downtown and major tourist attractions but public transit stops are nearby and I enjoyed a respite from the crowds I highly recommend a stay here.. I'd happily stay there again.

C'était mon troisième séjour chez Catherine. Toujours une hôte aussi prévenante. Elle m'a contacté pour voir si j'avais des besoins spéciaux, m'a relancée au cours du séjour pour s'assurer que tout allait bien. Elle avait aussi allumé le foyer avant mon arrivée afin que ce soit plus accueillant. J'y retournerai sans hésiter !
