We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly friendly and warm – you felt welcome from the very first moment. The breakfast was excellent and prepared with a lot of love. Our little son also felt completely comfortable, which is particularly important to us as a family. We really enjoyed the time and will definitely return. See you soon! We really loved it at Dick and Thildy's place. The two are very friendly, open and give great tips for the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, you felt very comfortable - surrounded by flower fields and a rural idyll with 2 sweet cats, ducks & chickens. Despite the construction of the new accommodations, we did not feel disturbed - I am curious how they look then!! 🙏🏻 Definitely a great place to explore North Holland and experience the colorful flower fields!

Linda‘s place is a really nice apartment. In the inner circle of Alkmaar‘s old town but quiet though. Situated at a lovely Chanel where people sit outside and where there is a very special atmosphere in the evening when the sun goes down. The apartment is as described and we liked it a lot. There is a lift to the third floor which is of great help for people that struggle with stairs. Communication was easy and proactive. I can highly recommend this place.

Our short vacay was really nice at Suus‘ place :) Everything was like described and we felt really comfortable. The location of the apartment was perfect, especially for us as a family with a toddler. We can really recommend it!

A wonderful weekend spent in Ramona's beautifully furnished apartment. Upon arrival, bed and bath linen are made. Wonderful weather, close to the beach. Enjoyed the sea, beach and dunes. Sitting comfortably at the eateries and beach tents. The apartment is comfortable and practically furnished for two people. We have in any case enjoyed our stay very much, thank you!

It was a nice place to stay where we quickly felt at home.

The first come-in-experience was great: even larger and more cosy than my imagination of the photos. Even though it‘s only a three minute walk to Oude Kerk and the lively center, it‘s absolutely quiet - day and night. The communication with the host is super quick, friendly and helpful.

By bike but also on foot, the city center (and NS station) was easy to reach. The neighborhood is neat, quiet, supermarkets nearby. apartment is spacious, equipped with many excellent appliances, complete. Outside it was warm, inside nice and cool.

We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. As a result, there is also constantly fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. On the dike, there is also a beach for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. The dog has also been thought of. We'd love to come back.

Super nice apartment, everything new, tastefully furnished and quietly located. The location is great, you can walk to the city center. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend Daphne's apartment. Thank you!!

Lovely to be in the centre of Alkmaar

Because we liked it so much the first time, we went back to “De Nollen” for a weekend. Everything was fine again and Elvira is a friendly, unobtrusive and yet very helpful host. The location is nice for excursions in the beautiful surroundings. We would vacation here again anytime.

We were greeted personally by Remy and he showed us the apartment and explained the operation of the hot tub. He also gave us recommendations for the area. We could always reach him by message and he was very helpful. The apartment and hot tub are very private, so you feel comfortable. In addition, the accommodation was super clean and fresh flowers set pleasant accents.

Great place for anyone who loves horses and nature. Nice and quiet but you are still in the city quickly. In the evening we had a visit from 2 cats on the stairs who were very happy about petting units.. At night we accompanied the silence of the neighing and hoofbeats of the horses in the stable. We found it very nice The apartment was reasonably clean and well equipped. Only a large bowl for salad and a few deep plates were missing. We only saw Jan briefly on departure, but he was very friendly to us. All in all, a very successful and beautiful stay.

4 days in a little cocoon, the accommodation is very pleasant to stay in and has rooms with large spaces. Ideally located, we did our first day on foot and the next by bike, taking the free ferry to reach the city center. The little extras of the accommodation: underground parking, bike garage, rooftop pool (€7.5 per person). Fleur and Jordy were very nice, with good recommendations! Looking forward to returning 😁

We had such a great time at Laura’s Airbnb! While it was a long walk to the heart of Amsterdam, there are so many public transportation options close by and they are so easy to navigate. The neighborhood is gorgeous and we would definitely stay again!
